Hi I screwd up when flashing roms and returned to stock so everything is clean I have flashed twrp again and whenever I try to flash a zip file whether it's a rom or gapps twrp reboots itself back into recovery I'm all out of ideas. I might have to stay in stock if I can't go fully custom again

erase cache + dalvik cache. pay attention to the elementalx logo that should show up before the aroma installer goes on, then it's okay . try to keep everything on stock also in aroma and see if it works.
erasing cache and dalvik didn't work. the aroma installer boot up, i chose stock on everything, and same problem still exist.

Sorry for bringing back this thread, but I seem to have the same problem. I'm running ARHD 21.0 on HTC one dev edition with CWM recovery. Rooted, unlocked, S-On.
I get through all the options in Aroma and a few seconds after it starts installing the phone just reboots.
Maybe someone came up with a solution?
Phone got stuck in a bootloop after flashing 4.4.2 Pac Man, the latest release. Also I can't get to recovery mode using Volume Up + Volume Down + Power. Help

We need more info. What was on the phone before you flashed Pac Man? Also, did you flash anything else with it?

That's all. I just updated the rom. I followed the steps given in updating the rom. No, only the rom.
I think there's no problem in how I flashed the rom. Maybe the rom itself is the problem because after flashing back to stock Gingerbread, I rooted my phone, flashed a kernel with cwm, installed root, did full wipe and flashed the rom but still stuck on bootloop. Thanks for trying to help.

Coming from GB, you have to repartition, which means that you have to flash the ROM twice in order for it to boot.

Like I said, flash it twice in a row. Also don't forget the GApps if it's a AOSP ROM.
Hi.. If any of you have installed TWRP, maybe you have made a backup of the stock recovery? If so.. Can you please share? The reason is that I want to be able to get the weekly updates..

You can still weekly update with TWRP. I've been doing it since I got the phone 2-3 weeks ago. It just launches the updater script in TWRP and installs fine
Ok.. Nice! I've just read that TWRP would break the updates. I'll try when the next one comes. Thanks☺

I stand corrected. This week's update didn't work for me. I checked my downloaded_rom folder and it seemed to be downloading entire ROMs the past two weeks, except this week it was just the patch. With. The entire rom download, it installed but with this week's update only it did not install.
Mine did not update as well.. Just froze at the MI logo.. Tried twice.

TWRP does break the updates and even after restoring stock recovery it still won't do it just download the full rom and dirty flash it through TWRP. If you still need stock recovery here's my backup. https://mega.co.nz/#!KFckQTBR!r3zUx_6OoKiusgPWRSBYhltvHP48RLfhuSnZ59wXF2k
I have made the backup using Flashify so you will need to install Flashify and place the file inside Android/data/com.cgollner.flashify/files/flashify-backup/recovery

Yeah it didn't work for a while but it randomly started working again and I havent had any problems since.
Yea I tried that, then realized how much I used TWRP and reverted back after 2 hours.
I only use twrp when I need it so I connect it to my PC and use fastboot boot TWRP.img
I have installed the team win recovery project on my s3 mini 18200n, and forgot to back up my stock rom. I then wiped, and flashed a zip, as said to do in the guide. When I try to flash a new rom, it states that it has failed, and that "Skipping md5 check : no md5 file found" and then states of how the zip signature failed. I am genuinely stuck, and if anyone could help me, I would be forever grateful

I tried to flash a few different roms, all which where variants of the stock, but deodexed or customised. I tried philz recovery at first, but for some reason i thought that didn't work, so I installed teamwin. Thank you so much for helping, I have been so worried!

I have flashed the 3.2.1.0 version of twrp recovery but it stucks at reboot when i reboot the system well i don't know what to do if i flash the old versin 3.1.1.0 is it would be problem. Now i am on stock rom and recovery. Open for suggestions.
It may be a kernel problem. I had the same thing happen on stock. I fixed it by downloading a ROM then installing TWRP. After install go right into recovery after you disconnect from Odin and clean flash the new ROM. No problems after that.

I used the latest TWRP and immediately flashed the Teleteam s8n8 ROM after installing TWRP. You can find the ROM on here with a quick search.
