Did a search but couldn't find this.
My product ID is GT-i9000 HKDXEU. Now I know XEU is the generic European version but does the HKD mean anything?
Is there a thread setting out these product ID's?
Question regarding the Froyo version for Sasktel.
I currently used the registry patcher to obtain the Bell update.
Now that the Sasktel update is out I would like to go to their froyo. How might one get that update through kies?
Can I spoof the registry patcher from this:
Spoof Product Code:
BMC
Spoof Software Revision as:
I9000UGJG9/I9000BMCJG9/I9000UGJG9/I9000UGJG9
To this: (This is my own version, as there is no BWA options on the drop down menu.)
Spoof Product Code:
BWA
Spoof Software Revision as:
I9000UGJH2/I9000BWAJH2/I9000UGJH2/I9000UGJH2
Would these settings be correct? Sorry to add another thread. Sasktel is a pretty small market compared to bell, so just trying to find some figures.
looks good to me,
why are you switching to sasktels though?
the only difference is the builds product code
The only reason is that I would then be stock Sasktel.
That's about it. Thanks for your help!
Hi, just got an update for my Tab over Kies.
Kies gives me the following infos:
PDA: KHD
PHONE: KG1
CSC: KH1 (DBT)
Before that update, i had XWKG9 installed.
Is this a newer version than KG9 ? According to samfirmare, KG1 is older (July) than KG9 (July 15). But Kies said "Newer firmware available". Dont know, may you guys can enlighten me :-D
Oh, and as a nice addition, after the update, I have a full version of "NFS Shift HD" and and app called "HRS Hotels" (Seems like a hotel booking app) on my tab for free.
And just to clarify things, i have a 7500 3G Tab an live in Germany ;-)

KI1 is newer than KHX releases
Just checked Samfirmware.com and this firmware is also available there:
P7500XXKI1
android 3.1
release 2011 September
CSC OXAKI1
Seems to me that samsung is rolling out country-specific updates over KIES. Thats good. Just a disappointment is, that they are not providing a changelog.
its 508.9 mb while the previous one kg9 is 330 mb.. are there additional apps?

Actually it's a device I bought from a swedish retailer (cyberphoto).
And it seems NSE is a Swedish CSC because this firmware update (it's multi CSC) came with a half a dozen bloatware apps with it which are specifically meant for sweden. (dagens nyheter, allt om mat+, sf anytime, tv4 play, and a few more like that..)
I'm considering of changing my CSC as well but I'm not sure which is the "real" finnish CSC --- NEE??

Finland.
ELS = FINLAND
SAU = FINLAND
I updated via WLAN without kies and don't have need for speed, hrs or any other new app. Strange!
How can I edit my build.prop to make my xperia SP appear as a generic UK version so it will update to 4.3?
I've tried editing the following from
ro.semc.version.cust=1272-7168 (EE)
ro.semc.version.fs EE-LTE
to
ro.semc.version.cust=1270-7689 (generic UK)
ro.semc.version.fs GLOBAL-LTE
But it still says no updates available, are there other settings I need to change or have I used the wrong .cut or .fs number?
Any help appreciated, id rather have generic UK than an australian version.
I want to change my csc on korean version of the phone, at the moment I have skc, I would like to change it to koo, who can help me?
