Hi People,
I mistakenly deleted my EFS Folder,do not have the backup for that.
my IMEI/MEID gone null.
tried flashing stock rom still not reversed and tried using Miracle Box(Ofcourse patched) showing successfully done but not done actually.
still showing imei null.
then tried using Falcon Box(similar) showing failed,Downgrade modem and try again.
don't have the downgrade file also.
please help how to recover on that.
tried flashing stock rom 2-3 times,nothing happened.
need a permanent solution on that.

1_Dont flash stock rom,flash any rom like pixel xperience with twrp 3.2.1 ,and them in twrp buckup your EFS.
2_Flash stock rom, booted and restartein twrp and restore your EFS

My O2X had some problems recently and I decided to use "fix permissions" in the CWM recovery to try to solve it. Before this, I did a Nandroid backup using the latest ROM Manager (with CWM recovery 3.0.2.8).
After the backup, I did "fix permissions", then reboot. But most of the texts on the screens and menus are missing!! that's very strange. Luckily I had my backup.
So, I reboot into recovery and then did a complete restore. But the worse thing happened... the phone hanged at the boot screen with the LG logo (before the animation). It just stopped there... I tried to restore some earlier backup as well, it's the same!
I'm totally lost, because CWM recovery had been so reliable before... I had used Paul's version many times before and it worked without problem... is the newer version buggy?
Anyone know what's wrong? and how to recover??
Dunno whats wrong but if you want ur phone to work again use smartflash.

It happens when restoring CM from backup as well, the solution then is to reflash after restoring.

you mean reflashing the baseband?
No, the cm zip file. Obviously not what you want if you're on a stock ROM though.
But even if you're on a stock ROM, you can download and reflash a stock ROM over the top .

Thanks all for your kind advice. I have flashed the whole firmware and restored an older backup.
And i have reverted to use v10a rom as the v10d and the new baseband seems causing a lot of issues.

Changing the ROM doesn't touch the baseband. You need to flash that separately.
I think I bricked it. I have a Safestrapped 3.12 with no custom rom , just the stock and rooted JellyBean rom. I tried to install Awesomebeats and I gave rw permissions to build.prop for the Awesome zip install.btw i installed the Awesome zip through Safestrap. When I rebooted itjust got past the red moto label and it went gray. Doesnt continue booting. So i tried to install both ICS stock and JB stock removing the getvar lines from the xml file. But it only gaveme errors .I suppose its the safestrap not freeing the loader.
Any help?
You can't just downgrade can you? To my knowledge this is still not safe. Also, are you able to enter recovery? More information is needed

If you installed it over stock try factory resetting, if you backed up try restoring, if neither work reflash stock.
or,
Install a custom rom in rom slot 1 such as golden rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2151398 (made by me)

thats the problem. I cant reflash stock ,it gives me errors in RSDLite. yes, I still have recovery and safestrap. As a emergency i am installing goldenrom right now,but i would like to have the stock romback

hmmm, I dont know what to tell you, try calling moto support about rsd lite?
Hi Guys, Im on 4.1.2. Revently i flash a 4.3 mod 4 rom via odin(this rom dont update bootloader) and stuck in boot animation. Then i re flash a 4.1.2 stock rom via odin.. but didnt boot.. then i tick erase nand all.. and then flash again 4.1 then some how i manage to reboot phone. But unfortunatly efs was missing and sent to repair.. now my phone works and have imei
That was background and i dont know it awas impact for this or not. After i recive my phone i got nand backup and now when ever i flash rom via recovery or odin always stuck in the boot animation(AOSP and stock) even tried to wipe data after flashing . At onece phone got boot as normal after flashing 4.1.2 stock and again there was no Imei.. tried everthing at efs pro and xda other thread information no use.. so i revert back to nandroid backup and everything works again. So guys im stuck in 4.1.2

It is known that the Knox bootloader might cause some problems when you want to flash a ROM

Hello, I was trying to install this rom for my s3 lte, i did everything as it was listed in the instruction field, but when i was flashing the rom i get an error that says that repartion failed. So, I have restored my old rom form backup, but the phone doesnt boot now (its stuck on the galaxy s3 logo).
What can i do in this situation? Thanks for help in advance.

Yes, i did. I've flashed the stock ROM and now everything is back to normal
repartition failed? that is custom rom...it just replaces system folder on your phone...
what custom recovery do you use? are you using Philz Touch? i tryed to flash CM11, OMNI ROM...all that is 4.4.2 custom...->all failed...with CWM i had no problem...

Try TWRP recovery (of Doom/Williams kernel) to flash the ROM.
