Hi,
This is my first time posting anything useful on XDA .
Anyways, I ported nethunter for our lovely device Santoni by using clarity kernel (non-treble) as base and patching it to support different USB WiFi cards and USB HID for rubber ducky attacks.
As far as I have tested it everything *should* work.
Installation instructions ->
1. Be on a non treble Oreo Rom. At the time of writing this, I am using Dirty Unicorns.
2. Have at least 1 gig of free space.
3. Flash the provided zip.
4. Run the nethunter app.
*Note* if you didn't get the nethunter app along with others, extract the zip and install them manually.
Credits :-
1. rainforce279 (clarity kernel)
2. Me, my ****ty laptop and not knowing jack **** of what I was doing.

***UPDATE***
There was an error involving the external wifi card, not being able to be detected as a wireless extension because I forgot to enable cfg80211 wireless extensions compatibility.
So, flash the following after you flash the above zip

Hi,
The HID patch is meant for developers wanting to implement the HID functionality in their own kernel. What HID basically is, it allows your mobile to function as a keyboard and mouse when attatched to a computer through a USB cable although you need a companion app provided in the nethunter zip I uploaded.
Please, before flashing nethunter consider taking a backup as you might want to go back.
Anyways, to flash this mod (this is not a ROM, Kali nethunter is installed on top of a ROM) :-
1. Install an Oreo ROM (non treble)
2. Then flash the provided zip ( both Google drive links, first the larger one then the smaller one )
If you don't know what nethunter is kindly google it or refer to the link below :-

Hi,
Kindly refer to the development section of XDA ->

Although, I do not recommend doing any changes to your device if you don't know what this mod does or what a ROM is.

I first need to install through twrp nethunter.zip, and then still separately from it apk-files?

Yes, somehow the nethunter zip file failed to install the provided apps which happened in my case too. So, all you need to do is install nethunter zip, extract it using some explorer like es explorer and install the apps you'll find in the extracted zip

Of course it works, that's the module that's being discussed. Issue is that it was never updated to the new template and has now been removed from the repo.
For anyone wanting to get a hold of the files it can currently be found in the Modules grave: https://github.com/Magisk-Modules-Grave/SonyFramework

Yes. The repo grave has been cleared. Anyone wanting to keep working on this will need to find the files somewhere else.
I found this repo in github "corejarpatch/SonyFramework" (I can't post links yet) but when I try to install it, it says "Magisk is not activated".
Hope that someone can make it work

Your error told me exactly what the problem was - an extra folder was nested inside before the files. Had to repackage the zip. Just finished booting after installing the module. Looks like someone else posted a working version.

The process is simple.....But there are a few requirements that you need to do before hand.
1. Unlock your Bootloader
2. Patch your Boot.img using Magisk
3. Install Twrp. If compatible with your device. In my case I used "Geiti94" Twrp he provided (TWRP_A30_A305F_V3_ASH1.tar) this worked for me even though I've got a A305GN and was flashed using Odin.
4. Download GSI rom of your choice just make sure you download the right version for your phone otherwise you'll face endless bootloops. *****You can use "Treble Info.apk" ***** to find out what your phone system supports as there are 4 types
5. Boot into Twrp, Tap on Wipe then Advanced Wipe then select "Dalvik/Art Cache" System" Data" leave everything else as it is. Then swipe to Wipe.
6. Then go back to Twrps main screen and tap on Install and navigate to where you put the GSI file by Selecting Storage then Install Image this will show only GSI image files. Then select your GSI file then select which Partition to flash to.....Which is SYSTEM.... DONE.

My system is a Arm64 compatible with a SystemAB GSI

I haven't experienced any sort of errors/bugs yet. Everything I use on a daily basis works, but if there are any errors/bugs they have yet to show themselves.
You have to understand that there are going to be errors/bugs in any custom firmware you flash to your phone, that's just the way it is nothing's 100% besides Stock.

What AOSP GSI image did you go with? Was it already Rooted with SU?
Have you manage to resize your screen to allow your icons at the top of your screen to fiit
If you by any chance have "Phh Treble Settings" in your "Settings" then your good to go.
Yes, it is already rooted. I did it with the last one published in AOSP, published 4 days ago I think, download the version with gapps, you ride it with TWRP (it's in img) and that's it

I have found that not all the Android 10 gsi I've used have this feature, Pixel Experience Q 28102019 being one of them.
so I've flashed this zip via TWRP to regain this ability. I know it doesn't work on all of them but its worth a try for those of you out there willing to give it a go.
I have successfully flashed the aosp 10 gsi (latest one) seems to be working really good.
The transitions seems to be little bit lagging with the stock launcher, and using other launcher totally removes the way task changer works. Which launcher are you guys using?
Can you make us tuturial please:fingers-crossed:

I tried on the old Grand Prime and J7 2017, do you know which kernel I can use to not have this block of the magisk modules? I search but only find rom
I wanted to ask if there is any new information regarding a global rom or a custom rom? I would definitely be flashing it right away.
Best hope for that will be when the S version is released. According to available information it is virtually identical to the X, so the firmware might be transferable.
can't wait!
Hopefully.
I’m not sure how things will go. I would much prefer working with aosp to get a booting gsi rom personally
TBH I've got the X working so well now that I don't really see a huge need for a new ROM. If someone gets it working and shows a benefit then...
Yes, of course it works and doesn't cause any problems, but I would like only the voice assistants from Google
and android auto, all the rest is ok
Android auto is dead in the game bro'
Are there any new advances?

You can extract boot.img in two ways:
1. What you described
2. Use DSU Loader and pull the file out using the following commands in adb:
adb shell

dd if=/dev/block/by-name/boot of=/data/local/tmp/boot.img

I haven't removed any Chinese bloatware, since I didn't find it was slowing down the phone or using too much memory. Quite happy to have it just sit there instead of risking removing too much.
