Are there any picture compensations about the picture quality loss?

I feel that the hardware is not to be blamed here...
The software here is at fault..
The superior auto mode is not so superior in its job(it's ok if you want to capture something real-quick)... But if you want the best from the hardware you'll have to turn to manual controls...(Camera FV-5 is the best app I know for that)
Jpeg compression is just too much here...thus we can see the lack of detail in some photos(macro)
To get the best of the camera,My suggestions are as follows :-
If you like the stock camera app... 1)Turn off superior auto mode... Switch to manual mode
2) set the ISO at 200 (max) for daylight photography,,,,400 for twilight
3) HDR off
4) metering mode set to average
And if you still want better results:
1) install Camera FV-5 (full version support developer )
2) go to settings -> photo encoding settings -> file format -> set it to PNG ( it takes some seriously huge pics (15 mb..)
3) now apply all the manual controls mentioned above
If you think what difference does the above methods do to the quality of the photos... Take a photo with normal method (superior auto) and then manual method... And then compare..
If you feel that I've helped you in anyway, please hit the thank button

I have unlocked the bootloader without save the TA partition, now the photos result very noisy in lowlight shots... The cause is the BE2 lost or something different? Can I restore the noise reduction?
You take the photos with auto mode or manually?
And if you use an other camera app like lenovo super camera?
I'm not sure but I think the bravia engine hasn't an influence to the camera..
I would like to ask you to compare low light camera results between Sony camera and Open Camera.
I have the impression that the green and purple spickles are much less using Open Camera, both in 20.66 MP and in 8.28 MP
File size of Open Camera is 1/3 from Sony Camera file size
First of all.... Clean your keyboard.
And if you are happy with the results... Use the one you like!

Unlocking means is a decrease in camera quality since you lose all DRM Rights to Sony's post processing algorithms. You could try different camera apps with slight differences but it certainly won't beat the Camera of a Z3C with a locked bootloader. The Green and Violet Spickles will be visible if the scenery is dark
Please help me how to lock white balance in stock video camera of Mi8. Notice: stock video camera.
Opencamera google camera... has whitebalance lock but AF is too slow, not fast as stock camera video.
Thanks so much!
Or please tell me any video recording app can forcus quickly and lock white balance.
On my Find X3 Pro the 50 megapixel mode will generate JPGs with two wildly different outputs:
Real 50mp output from the sensor. It's not amazing but has some more detail than 12mp. And importantly no over-sharpening!
Fake 50mp, it's upscaled 12mp output, which is terrible (I suspect some reviewers like gsmarena got this, and this is why they said 50mp is a waste of time).
Sometimes I get #1, and sometimes I get #2. There isn't any warning in the UI.
I'm wondering how best to control this.
Here's my findings:
PHOTO > 50mp setting enabledOther settingOutputYesPHOTO > HDR Auto50mp JPG from upscaled 12mp source YesPHOTO > HDR Off50mp JPG from real 50mp source
Is HDR Off the only way to control if you get the full 50mp?
Does it depend on anything else like AI On/Off or how much light there is?
I wish there was a warning in the camera app that you were getting the fake vs real 50mp, or some way to lock it in Expert mode. (Don't get me started on how annoying it is that Expert mode flicks back to JPG instead of RAW after some time has passed).
Btw I'm using ColorOS12 (C47).
Good find, tks
