Hallo.
Used to have a rooted device just for running adaway and backing my system up with Titanium Backup plus.
My Note 5 is not rooted but since CF-Auto-Root is now available for the Note 5 I really do not know whether I should root it and risk my warranty.. I now use Helium Pro for Backing up and am living with the ads.. I do not want to change the Stock-firmware, so I really do not know if adaway and Titanium are worthy rooting my device.
So, fro your perspectice, what are the advantages of rooting my device?
Thank you for your answers.

Nandroid backups is the first in the line. Second one is the retouching the stock rom. Wanam is another cool stuff for your device. Its my opinion, fella. Peace ?
I've rooted all my previous devices but not the Note 5 as of yet. Samsung Pay is due to launch here in the UK soon so I'd like that to work as normal. Plus I use AdGuard now to get rid of ads you have to pay for it but it works well and for now I'm happy using it as is without rooting to ensure everything works as it should.

Hi everyone,
I just switched from my old good Galaxy S7 to a brand new Note 9 (snapdragon, couldn't find an exynos variant on my country)
and so far i'm loving it, the software (aside from the usual bloatware) has been excelent and nothing seems to be missing for me right now, EXCEPT for some decent quality audio.
I'm used to use mid-high tier headphones and all I can say is samsung is still giving us pretty much no control over the sound quality.
Now to the point of this post, I know there is a way to install viper4android by just changing the kernel to permissive (idk if this still works). I don't want to void my warranty by tripping knox this time, and up to this moment there is no reason for me to root my device except for the sound mod.
Does anyone know how to install viper4android without root?
Does anyone know how to change the kernel to permissive without tripping knox?
Does anyone know if there is or is in development a way to root without tripping knox?
Thanks for reading

Again as far as I know the only non root way to install Viper4android is through TWRP. Yes this will trip knox but is non root. TWRP will probably be available on a Snapdragon version Note 9 long before if ever root is. His wishes for no nox trip Viper4android are non existent.

didn't know setting kernel to permissive was doable non root.
i did a few searches about "viper non root" and they all point to rooting your phone as if it was click bait. even xda forums state that it is not possible. maybe im not searching correctly?

It does say some Samsungs. My non root experience was on a Pixel XL. So guys we won't know until TWRP. Until then it's a moot point regardless. To the OPs hopes... No root, no trip knox.... no Viper4android

Hi
Will I have the GApp in the RM 3 ?
If I buy a Chinese version or European version, what changes inside for the software?
Thx
If you buy Chinese version, root is needed to install Google service.
how can we root this phone ?
Yeah i saw some videos that it was impossible to install Google apps on Chinese model. Better wait for International release next week.

Hi. I have already rooted mine, and had Playstore installed... Haven't experienced any problem so far... Here's a video of it: https://www.facebook.com/clarencedalonzo/videos/2719242894756954/
worth or not buy red magic 3?
Worth it. I think this is best smartphone for this price
International model has stock Android.
Stock Android 9 (Pie)
When you’re not gaming, the Red Magic 3 features a Stock Android 9.0 experience.
No bloatware, no pre-installed games, no overbearing skins. It’s everything you want (and nothing you don’t).

I can't get this. Any tutorial more complete?
hi guys ,
At last i ordered my mi 11 pro from china , and i want to prepare my self to the steps ill have to take in order to replace the chinese rom to eu.rom + "twrp"+ Saftynet Passed + OTA Updates + Widevine Level 1 .
please help me understand if these are the neccessary steps ill have to take :
1. unlock the device with xiaomi tool
2. instal the "twrp"
3. flashing the eu.rom
am i right ?
thnx
Why do you want to root it? The EU ROM has widevine L1 and safetynet in the ROM, no need to root to get that. Root can be more of a pain to hide from banking and media DRM apps. Unless you really need to, don't.
Hiding root is super easy. EU rom is buggish I would not recommend it

Is it unbearable?
I have Indian version ROM, facing bugs on Daily basis. Currently I need replace Google Dialer with Xiaomi dialer mainly for call recording and smart dialing.
Well if you don't mind a slower phone after spending 1 grand, it is ok

No, not by far. Unless you are gaming or super critical than X app loads in 6ms against 5 in global, then don't worry. I've been using EU for ages not only on this phone. The Xiaomi dialler and SMS app is so much better for dual SIM phones. Look, if you don't like it, you can always go back. No 9ne 8s forcing anyone to stay EU.
