Many of them were complaining about Finger print sensor not being responsive and not working issues... So I am posting my small method to resolve the issue...
Note: I have 4gb ram Indian variant running stock 323 build
Step 1: Go to security settings and clear all the fingerprints that were previously stored
Step2: Reboot your phone and add your fingerprints again
Voila !! Your Fingerprint sensor should be more quicker or at least more responsive than before...

same thing happened to me
The update is pulled because of fingerprint issues. We will get new update soon. 323 was buggy steps would nit solve issues.
same issue, when we can expect a new build ?
Problem is there in September, 2018 update
The issue resolved for me.
Fingerprint identify issue s
I got my new 6GB blue recently and I had experienced delay. But after the recent update
I erased the earlier Fingerprint and stored new fingerprint which I found operates really fast.
Possibly the recent update resolved the issue.
Yep! It worked on my 6GB Indian Variant running on the latest build (OCT 2018)
Thank you!
This works!
I have to say that i didn't think this was going to work, but I gave it a try anyway.. and it worked perfectly. I was having an issue with the fingerprint not being detected and thought it was a hardware issue, but after erasing all fingerprints and rebooting the phone, it started detecting normally again and faster, thank you!

Post oreo update I'm facing fingerprint response issues. It is not responding at least once for thrice.how to fix this?
No one problem here. Try to reset your phone. I've done this and solved some bugs like smart lock not working.
Or maybe clean your fingerprint sensor and rescan your finger with different positions.

Same thing happened to a friend on 7.1.1 with a 950F.
He had to claim warranty on it since we tried multiple firmware's, but nothing brought the sensors back.

Go to Samsung ASAP to get it fixed under warranty
I've claimed the warranty, still waiting for the phone
Will I lose all my stuff on the phone? Or will It be the same?

Chances are you won't get your exact phone back. But a refurbed one. Just use samsung backup app. Works pretty well. And of course factory reset afterwards.
I'm having the same issue with my device past few days (Exynos Chip)
My reply was here.

I haven't experienced it myself, but previous posts in the thread indicate a hardware problem... If you already flashed the latest stock firmware with full wipe and it's still not working, then it seems to confirm that hardware issue.

Can you find those posts you mentioned and link them here? If it's software related then flashing the latest stock firmware should help. Did you do a full wipe and used csc instead of home_csc in Odin (along with the other firmware files)?

i'm really sorry but can not link them because i saw so many websites and can't remember and yeah i flashed all files with odin but this also don't work any other solution and also saw a video on youtube about xiaomi device sensors stoped after software update
As some buddies stated before, take your device to claim warranty, that's it
I'm getting GPS errors lately, very very weak satellite signals even under 100% sky, I don't know if they are related. Ugh, so much for a $1000 phone
Echoing the responses of others. I would take your device to either the retailer or a Samsung Service Center. As this is probably a motherboard issue.
Facing same issue, all sensors not working. Will be going to care center tomorrow.
I had this problem after I had my phone led screen repaired (under warranty at samsung). Lucky I check everything after every repair.
They took the phone back and got it fixed in 5 minutes. Said the tech forgot to flash in some files.no idea what files but all they did was change the screen and battery.

No its not a hardware problem and samsung knows this only happening to the xynos versions and if all ur sensors were working fine how the fock after u update to their ****ty oreo update that they didnt take the time to do ur sensors stoped work its like when apple sent the update to the iphone 5s now the finger print sensors dont work.
The fingerprint sensor on my Mi A2 is not working for the most part. It takes around 4-5 trys to unlock when the screen is off. If you turn the screen on first, then it might work in 2-3 trys.
The response time is also very slow. Feels like a whole second. Is anyone else having the same issue?
The phone is not rooted. I am on August update.
Same here. I thought that I have scratches on my finger which make it hard to be recognized. I tried adding new fingerprint but it gave a warning that fingerprint sensor is dirty.

This is not the case for me. I am able to add new fingerprint. It never says fingerprint sensor is dirty. Once or twice it won't recognise the finger while adding as well.

Yes
I sometimes have this problem, especially when recharging the phone or when it has gotten a little hot.
do you use the official charger?
Also try to reboot your phone if it's been a long time you don't shutdown the phone ?
November security path is out. I install it with Odin from Ukraine country.

samsung phones are worst, full of bugs, full of bloatware and no updates, no software support, no quality control. ?
samsung is just a marketing hoax.
yesterday my 6 year old iphone 5s got an update IOS 12.4.4 , can you believe? in order to fix a facetime bug and cope with new apple services.
and when apple releases an update, all the devices in the world are getting it for sure. not like samsung, they have 1000 variants of almost the same hardware, but the updates are so problematic and you have to wait for ages in order to receive them. ? samsung is just a waste of time and money.
after updating i removed the fingerprints saved on my a70 and reconfigured them , the process is different not by much , it is faster and more straight forward , and the fingerprints recognition is faster and more accurate

Did the same, but the registration process is always interrupted with a couldn't register fingerprint warning. Sometimes at over 90%, it pops up, then the process just ends without saving the registered data.
This update ****ed up my sensor totally.
Don't update!

update : the fingerprint sensor is inaccurate again i dont know maybe it is because of the tempered glass screen protector i have on my phone ...

I don't use screen protector..
Samsung implemented brand new fingerprint recognition algorithm which is more sensitive. Face recognition is now better, more accurate and much faster, but fingerprint is somehow much problematic than previous update.
Tip: Don't install November update. Wait for the next update and do not delete your currently recorded fingerprints, especially if you already applied latest November update.
Cheers!
I got the update two days ago. Removed fingerprints and registered new. Everything seems to be working fine and fp sensor seems much better!
I have the October update and there were no fingerprint issues. It will be interesting to see if this is the same update for the sensor as in October, or if the November update was further changes to it.
november patch for chile es out. A705MN CHO / A705MNXXU4ASK5

Same here cannot register any now
Received November patch India
After November update, sensor cannot read fingerprints, not lighting the green light under finger, sometimes a reboot helps, sometimes not, totally erratic behavior.
But when it works it seems to recognize faster than before update.
I used Odin to update mine to November patch, no issues yet, FPS works as it did before, maybe a little better on the battery.
Does anyone know what is the compatibility trick behind Huawei P30 Pro fingerprint sensor?
I have got issues with mine. After screen replacement it worked fine, until the microphone stopped working at the bottom board. So i went for a new one.And there the fingerprint issue started.I cant enroll a fingerprint.
I went for another board, new sensors, new main flex.It simply does not work, recognizes it,but does not work.Calibration tools and softwares did neither work.Tried to update/reset,also unsuccessfull. Actually it worked perfectly once, read the fingerprint perfectly, but after restart did not work again.
So,i am stuck... I know in the past i have replaced screens and sensors on P30 and P30 Pro without similar issues.
Is there an trick or must i bring it to Huawei centre to pair the hardware?
Hi,
Did you find a solution for this issue yet? I'm about to replace the fingerprint sensor, but cannot find how I can calibrate the fingerprint sensor afterwards. There seems to be some software app by Huawei which can start the calibration proces but it's nowhere to be found.
Anyone?

Great for you, i will try that for sure in the near future, but can you please explain what do you mean by original rom? The one that was first on the phone when was sold? Or you used emui 12?

Well, i was waiting to get answer from joaofbc but no answer, i didn't try anything on my own, i use phone daily and didn't want to mess it, but face recognition is working fine so i don't care about fingerprint that much.
