Hi.
A Moto G5s Plus, with carrier Android 7.1.1 most of the time, but not always, is blocking incoming calls (from known and unknown numbers). It can make calls normally, and can use normally also internet.
Can't figure out the problem.
I need help.
Thanks in advance.

Hey everybody, I'm experiencing a strange issue with the new Moto X. It is not my phone only, because my friend has the same phone with the same problem.
When receiving or making calls, I can't hear the other end. When I make a call, I don't hear the ringing and I don't hear the voice when somebody calls me. If I try again to make or receive a call, I will then be able to hear the other end.
I don't have many apps installed, nor am I a novice to Android, so I've tried many of the typical troubleshooting methods. I'm wondering if this is a bug that others may be experiencing and if anybody has discovered a fix or workaround. Thanks!
Hi all
I just bought this tab SM-T815 and am still finding my way around it. I'll be taking a duplicate sim for this tab and will share my phone's data plan on this device (my carrier allows so). I see the tab has a phone app and I fear that I might receive calls both on my phone and tab thus leading to call drops/ missed calls. Is there any way to avoid getting calls on the tab?
Please help.
Well never mind, the solution was available with the carrier. They gave me a primary and a secondary number which would solve the issue of calls...
Try using offline mode with mobile data switched on.
I hope someone can help me with this issue.
I have a Moto X4 XT1900-1 which I have flashed the latest Lineage OS 16 on which is running on the Mint Mobile (T-Mobile MVNO).
Simply put the phone seems to sleep right through texts and calls. It doesn't consistently wake up and ring or give me texts in a timely fashion.
I've tested it many ways including putting the phone on a table next to me and sending texts to it and it doesn't seem to wake up. In case you're wondering it does not seem to be a network issue because another phone with the same SIM card on the same table 5 minutes later works properly.
One of the more peculiar things is when texts do finally trigger a notification they will be dated as "8 minutes ago", for instance.
The same issue appears to be happening with incoming calls when I test them. It's difficult to tell how often I miss calls because many people just hang up if they get voicemail.
One more thing that I doubt has anything to do with the problem, but under mobile network, in settings, it has "preferred network type" and it is set to "global". Is this the correct setting for me to use?
Could it be just a setting I need to change? Any help would be most appreciated.
Bit of a disappointment that the basic function of the phone is not working correctly!
In order to be heard on a call I need to switch on speakerphone. Anyone else had this issue?
Tried wiping the cache and restarting the device.
Verified that the microphone is working. I can make calls with Messenger, WhatsApp etc.
Upon hanging up, there is an audible pop on the receiver end during my tests.
Affects both incoming and outgoing calls.
NX627J_V1AMB with build NX627J_ENCommon_V2.03. The phone came with V1.03 but did not test calling.
Phone app build version 11.0.
Any help much appreciated.
Hi,
Ordered my phone with EU distribution and came with NX627J_ENCommon_V2.03 and I don't have such a problem. Maybe flashing went wrong? There are many users experiencing issues after flashing.

Hi, this was after flashing but I've since debricked (using https://forum.xda-developers.com/nubia-z20/how-to/tool-nubia-z20-unbirck-tool-t4009227) so believe I'm on the correct firmware. If someone can confirm this is the case that would be useful otherwise I will try and flash firmware
When someone calls me, it rings once and disconnects on their end, but for me, I have no information on a missed call or anything, like they never called me, did anyone else face this problem?
And if yes, can someone help me solve this issue?

It sounds to me like this is a carrier issue. Are you able to make outgoing calls? Did you get a new line of service when you got your phone, or did you use a different phone before?
