Hello guys ,
I would like to know if , having to some card in the same device is draining more battery than only one sim.
Thanks for all

The short answer is yes, but,in most use case scenarios,it's not enough to worry about:
https://www.quora.com/Do-the-dual-S...ingle-SIM-phones-for-an-observed-unit-of-time
A weak signal on either/both SIM Cards is what will cause battery drain.
If you have a decent connection/signal strength on both,I wouldn't worry about battery consumption.

The answer is yes ... I always had used dual sim in my device and faced this issue like you. But I had fixed the battery drained issue already....

If you want to use dual Simcard you should put both sim in the network mode to 2G. Just turn the 4G,3G,2G Auto mode ON if you want to get the internet connection .Turn back to 2G mode afterwards if you have to disconnect the internet connection. I had tried and always got the good results of battery life in my device.....

Honestly, not to contradict any advice from others, but, answer me this:
Is neutering your phone to the lowest speeds/signal quality worth the trade-off for the most meager of battery savings?
If you find yourself in need of that extra battery, then tote an external battery pack or use an extended battery case.
I seriously doubt the Note 9's 4,000mAh battery will let you down.
If you're in an area that has decent signal coverage, chances are you will not need to monitor your battery usage.
I've used a lot Dual-SIM devices over the last couple of years (5 Xiaomi's / 4 Huawei's / 2 OnePlus' / 2 Asus', & one Samsung Note FE)
These phones span the range from flagship to mid-tier & not a single one of 'em suffered battery drain from using both SIM slots.
Get the phone, set it up to your liking & enjoy it.

Hi all, I don't know if its a general behaviour, but my kaiser gets reset very often.. I've tried some roms.. and radios.. but i got the same damn behaviour.. When I'm using it as a modem, or simply connected to internet.. it gets hot.. and then reset..
Please help me..
tks and forgive my english...
I just had a similar problem and just re-adjusted the battery contacts and it stopped. However my phone would reboot if I put the phone down hard.
I have this Problem too. Then i change the Batterie and all ok.

Mines the same but think due to extended life battery cover so stuck a thin bit of card in the back to make the battery move less and hasn't happened since.
agreed
definitely sounds like the same problem i had. replace the battery, it worked for me.
My Tilt also gets hot when using wifi
I'll try the new battery suggestion
i think you need to change the battery. for me, the battery life is around 1 year before it begin to reset.

I agree with ur comments about the battery life and just to add...
1 year for original battery and
almost 6 months for non-original battery....
i experienced both... my first original battery runs out in almost a year and then i purchased an extended battery of 2800 mah and that runs out in only 6 months....
So, just replace ur battery before experimenting with ur set..
I'm pretty sure my stock battery has died after just over a year of usage. However I just wanted to check with you guys whether it's actually flat or if my phone is faulty. The battery will last about a day with minimum usage, but if I turn on wifi or data it will literally die in a matter of minutes? This is the same with every rom and I wipe battery stats. So would buying a new battery solve the problem?

Is the shape of your battery regular??
If not, change your battery not rom.
Note:due to overcharging, shape of battery may change, happened with me.
Minimum usage would drain battery so fast to 0%.

Sorry, shape of my battery? What do you mean by that?
Your battery has been heavily used. It's life is over. These are the symptoms of a nearly-dying battery. When you replace with a new battery your phone will function like normal again.

Thank you! These are the words I wanted to hear haha XD Just ordered a new stock battery as after a lot of research, that seems like the best option.

U can test the phone if is he draining power too much whitout buying a new Sga battery. If you can find some battery like Nokia bl-5c(i use it sommetimes) or some battery similar pins (+//-) to fit it in and try it on.
Test old sga battery.
Try to charge your old Sga baterry in a univerzal charger,do not worry abouth overcharging beacuse it got to protect it.

Discharging whole charge in matter of minutes - no more tests please its 100% battery dead in all probability
Replace it and don't overuse like you did with this one

Quite poor compared to the first guy's battery screen , i guess one of the causes is the second sim card being active too.

I'm not trying to break any records, nor do I have any big battery saving techniques in use (other than the dark theme). This is normal usage in my opinion. The dash charging is great though.. definitely a huge help with this phone.
My mobile signal is usually anywhere between 1 to 4 bars indoors. I may remove one of the sim cards as I have no real reason to use it - I just wanted to see how it worked in all honesty.

I managed to get another 45 minutes out of that this morning before going on charge at around 15%.

Not a problem. I think that while the capacity could have been bigger (also reducing the camera bump), the dash charge feature helps bring some juice to the phone quite quickly. I'm disappointed though that you can only use OnePlus hardware for it (so far).
Doing well so far...
Got some pretty nice battery life today, liking it so far!
Will the use of two Sim cards reduce the battery life?

Of course.
Dash charge... 0 - 88% in 38mins.
Just shy of 5hrs SoT. Mixture of gaming, FB stalking, whatsapp, WiFi and cellular, couple of calls and sms, Bluetooth on all day paired with car for about an hour. Not disappointed with that in the slightest.

Agree with you on lower battery capacity and camera bump. But I think these shortcomings can be lived with.
Coming to the major disappointment its not just the oneplus hardware you will have to depend on for dash charging, we need the oneplus software too. They haven't released the libraries and source code for this. So custom roms will be missing this main feature.
Mt first day was disappointing with battery but now it's giving me approximately 1-2 days with 3+ hours SOT and regular usage
Stellar battery life when on a good connection.

Any phone that has dual sim with dual standby will have shorter battery time.
Will you get hungry/tired faster when both of your hand fully occupied ? Yes. =D

In my experience, it will consumed at least 10-20% faster. Depends on your config
If you set 1st sim for data, but 2nd for call and sms, normally it tend to consume faster.
Also if one of your provider has bad network coverage, it will drain your batt faster as well,
Too many parameters...

Ive to disagree with you . Ive used s7e dual sim ... The sim2 (for calls only 2g signal) its use battery like playing ONE game fruit ninja ... Less than 1% of total battery. Now i use oneplus3 dual sim also. Ive got same battery life no metter ive used 1 or 2 sims. Mayor problem of sim consumption high battery is having bad reception .. when im on WIFi i set both cards to 2g... Its saves a lot battery.

I did... The difference is 1% or less than that. 2g network ain't use much power btw. As i said you wont even notice it. That 20-30% is BS...

Im using 2 sim and i dont see any difference
The other sim works in 2g network. It makes nearly no different.
After lots of searching (custom roms, stock roms 6.0) the conclusion is that the only way for the battery of Note 4 to work properly is to use Android 5.1.1 stock rom. MM roms make big problems to the battery.
Get yourself an extended battery, you will have a totally new experience with your Note 4. I recommend TQTHL Samsung Galaxy Note 4 11800mah Super Extended Battery. Super power!!!
I'm using Wubatec 10.000 mAh from Aliexpress
Why? My battery last for a very long time.. When not in use, work or sleep, WiFi, Bluetooth mobile data, GPS, is all turned off.. I also keep these things off when I'm working.. I can usually get over 12 hrs on just half of batter charge. The battery life is all on how you use your phone..
