What is the BEST performance ROM? - Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Questions & Answers

Fast and speed and less bugs and problems too
Thanks hoy very much

I'm amazed noone answered you, but at the moment if you want pure hardcore speed it's the latest Lineage 15.1 rom with souped up kernel such as Hardrock 17.

[Q] Android Rom with good batterylife and performance

Could someone please recommend a rom that has good batterylife, and does not have the lag of some of the newer android roms? I am open to any rom that is 4.0 or later. Thanks

Very easy to follow thread with several ideas, I currently use the CM11 rom by Jcsullins, very very good battery life.

Which ROM are you using for the Marshmallow experience? How is it treating you.

I'm using Cyanpop V3.0 for Marshmallow, which I'm not so happy with.
BR soak test, pretty good so far.

I'm using the optimized version of official cm 13 by Vatsal. It is way better than all the mm roms out there, no major bugs, performance and battery backup is awesome...
Using CM Optimised Builds By Vatsal with Xposed. Its amazing.
Tested many but always come back to official soak test rom. But it's too early yet to judge custom roms. There is a lot of way to go IMHO.

Here is the link for latest build
Next time please use the search function.
Btw, guys this discussion is not worth. All roms out there are special in their own way.
I'm using Cyanpop and have been for a couple of weeks. I've not had a single problem or issue with it. Smooth, fast and battery life is decent.

Which resurrection remix is the best?

There are 4 versions (more or less) of Resurrection Remix ROMs (e.g Zenity, Sultan's, EAS-VOX) for the 3T and i don't know which to choose. I'm looking for the most stable, battery friendly and OMS-supported out of all of them. Support for custom kernels would also be nice but if it doesn't support them it's okay. Also, if there are any ROMs that has most of the features i listed, do let me know
Hi, i had same problem. And i did choose that one: https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http...sQE_8mxFikIynqJh4-cR9FyJiJ2kS201c6wpHZZNl&s=1
Everything is just fine

I think they are all good but this version -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...development/rom-resurrection-remix-m-t3399960
Is the best in my opinion.
1. most frequent updates.(currently even nightlies)
2. comes with ex kernel
3. is the only aosp/laos rom out there that doesnt throttle while playing moderncombat.
I tried all other aosp/laos roms, not only all rr roms. And they all start throttling while playing moderncombat even with the same ex kernel and kernel settings. The game simply starts lagging because the cpu clocks down. And the funny thing is the device doesnt even start heating.
I was almost sure that the official rr is better but i switched back to the custom version and was shocked that it never throttles while playing even when gpu boost is on "high". You can also set the kernel settings using akt app to get better battery life. But for me the battery is good enough.

Zenity is with EAS and with a kernel based on Renderkernel.
Sultanized RR is not based on official LOS, rather on sultans LOS 14.1
more infos you can get in their threads (OP). I would choose one of these. Both are stable and with OMS

That's your decision. I think you are happy with both. Read here for more infos about EAS: https://www.linaro.org/blog/core-dump/energy-aware-scheduling-eas-project/

But Vertex has not many features, right?
I have official RR installed, but now I am unsure, if I should use one of the unofficials?!?
Are there many differences?

The official is good too, almost all roms for our phone are good. It's your choice

Sultan rom (19 may) VS stock rom beta 8

Hallo
i ask about which rom give me best SOT on OP3T
-------- my using is facebook - instgram - Messenger - whatsapp-
thx
Sultan Rom is better than OOS OB8
Performance such as SOT will vary greatly by the user, depending on your individual usage. It's pointless to ask such questions. Just flash the ROM and see how it works for you. For every different ROM, kernel, or update, you'll find some folks swear the batter life is improved (or even amazing) while others will state it's gone to complete crap.

Sultan is much better!
Well, I have tested both roms and i do not see any difference in sot, or, if any, is very negligible. I am very sure that the users are experiencing placebo effect, as usual.

Stable Rom??

Hi so I installed RR on my mums s3 mini, it lags a lot and the wifi never autoconnects so she has to reboot the phone very often
Im looking for a rom which battery lasts enough, decent performance (she doesnt use performance demanding apps) and overall stability
Android version doesnt matter

Omni rom, but don't expect battery miracles with those 1500 mAh.
My girlfried uses CM12.1 from novafusion and it works without any problem. Battery is excellent.
I tried several Roma but only those kikat were stable .. :crying:

This ROM is really great!
Guys, what about those new ROMs - RROS 5.8.3 or LOS 14.1? Are they stable enough or are the older ones better?
This is a good question. I use old cm11 Om S3 mini nfc version
But i think about upgrade. Is there any stable custom for everyday use?
I mean not alpha or testing version.
I need stable Rom for this phone. Any help?

I have used this rom for a long time without any problems. Its battery life was very good and performance is better than the other Lp roms. You can use it. or you can use omni kitkat. its performance was amazing but its battery life is not enough. I will change the battery and flash omni kitkat again. I was really amazed
