Note 9 sfr sm-n960f carrier firmware - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I recently aquired a note 9 from French Carrier SFR, the 128gb version.
Without thinking, I flashed the latest PHN firmware from samfirmware downloader using ODIN : N960FXXU1ARH5/N960FOXM1ARGD/N960FXXU1ARGC/N960FXXU1ARH5
All works great but I have lost calls over data (VOWIFI & VOLTE).
So does anybody know how I can redownload the oringal carrier firmware and flash back using odin ?
I have no idea what the region code is for SFR - FRANCE in order to download with samfirmware downloader tool.
Thanks,
Mat

2 solutions
1 ,if you want to stay with OXM firmware :
-save all your data
- Go to recovery , HOLD home ( or bixby button ) + Volume up together , and power up
- In recovery , chose factory reset .. This will give a warning and then reset everything
- Choose power off , in the recovery .. you should do this before booting up as your CSC will be configured when you will start
- Power on the phone , wait and . then chose restart to system now when asked
- wait and after reboot , your CSC have change according the sim tray ( XEF )
2 if you want to come back to SFR
SFR CSC is : SFR , but like it's a multi CSC firmware ( OXJ )
after flashing the firmware
-save all your data
- Go to recovery , HOLD home ( or bixby button ) + Volume up together , and power up
- In recovery , chose factory reset .. This will give a warning and then reset everything
- Choose power off , in the recovery .. you should do this before booting up as your CSC will be configured when you will start
- Power on the phone , wait and . then chose restart to system now when asked

Same problem right here. Any idea?
What have you done before facing this issue?
Sent from my GT-S5570 using xda premium
In my case, volum up button doesn't work, and phone doesn't enter in downlaod model, just in some emergency mode arm9... something like that. I try to update software, i think because it's some software problem. After that, everything ok (start downlaod mode with kies, and update with odin). Odin show pass(isn't first phone that I update with odin, but everything before was ok). When phone start, show this .... and i don't know what should I do. Any help, any idea?

Be careful and press only vol down and not both volup and down...try.
Before, I update with odin: Galaxy S, Galaxy gio(2x), Galaxy ace(3x), another galaxy mini, with odin.
Weird it is then, cuz i know holding volup+down+home+power will get u to emergency download mode...whatever that is.
It's possible. The person who gave it to me to make them update said the volume up button does not work very well. Be a reason? Phone also have another problem, battery drain, in 5 minutes, battery goes from 70% to 20%. Wipe battery stats in CWM should resolve this? 100% probably no, but something?
Im having the same problem, I get "lcd_backlight_ctrl start" when im trying to turn my phone on, can only go to Emergency download mode
I have firmware from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1551586 and i get this error after i tryed to go to recovery mode (Clockwork recovery not flashed)
EDIT: Got into normal download mode, reflashed roms, now its working fine. Apperiantly theres a problem with my "Volume up" button.
For future
This combination which u have triggered is: Volume up + menu + power or just Volume Up + power

Turn off phone by pulling off the battery and place it back in. While the phone is off, press Volume Up + Home Button + Power Button to enter recovery mode. In recovery, navigate using volume buttons and select wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache and try to install another rom from there. If it doesn't work for you, enter download mode on your device (Volume down+home button+power button) and reflash the firmware using odin. Happened several times to me, hoped I helped

[Q] Unable to bootafter aborted lollipop update. (moto g 1068 DS)

Hi,
After getting the lollipop update notice, i downloaded and tried installing the same. But after reboot at about 2/3rd installation of new system it aborted with no error at an icon with dead android. This icon persisted for a long time and i rebooted the mobile. Now it is stuck at "powered by android" message with no progress.
I have tried so far:
- vol down button and power: Recover option. This gave me no command error.
- vol up button and power: delete /data and /cache. The mobile automatically rebooted and is stuck at the same message - "powered by android"
How I can recover my mobile? either to stock 4.4.4 or 5.0
My cell is stock 4.4.4, dual sim 1068 (Indian version)
Thanks for any help..
I have the same problem as you, have you found any solution yet?

External Reset
If you are unable to access the phone's menu to perform the standard reset you can attempt an external factory reset.
Notes:
When using this feature; everything is deleted from the device.
Reset will require a minimum battery level of 25%. If you are unable to perform a reset, please charge for 20-30 minutes and try reset again.
1. With the phone powered off, press the VOL DOWN KEY for 2-3 seconds then POWER key then release.
2. The device will display different BOOT OPTIONS (THIS IS BOOTLOADER SCREEN)
2A GOTO 3 TO RESET OR RUN MY SCRIPT FROM SIGNATURE ( YOUR CHOICE)
3. Use the VOL DOWN Key to SCROLL to Recovery and VOL UP Key to select
Tip: If the device reboots, you may have waited to long to make a selection, you will need to begin the process again.
4. The device will display the Motorola logo and then the Android in distress ( logo with Exclamation mark)
5. Press and hold the VOL UP key for 10-15 seconds. While still holding the VOL UP key tap and release the POWER key
Tip: You can try this step, holding the phone in landscape. If you are stuck on step 6, try a force reboot by pressing the Power key and Vol Down key, and start the process again.
6. The device will display additional menu options (Text will appear in BLUE)
7. Use the VOL DOWN Key to scroll to Wipe data / factory reset and the POWER Key to select this option
8. Use the VOL DOWN key again to select YES - delete all user data and press the POWER key to CONFIRM
9. Once the Formatting is complete, press the POWER key to confirm a REBOOT
10. The device will reboot and start the normal power up sequence

Huawei Ascend P7 - bootloop singular problem :(

Hello, my Huawei P7 during automatic update does not start up again. I can't go into download mode or fastboot . I have tried all ways , with the attached USB cable , pressing pwr + vol up, vol down + pwr , pwr + vol up and down . Always returns to the same place: Software install failed!
I managed to use this instruction (http://www.carbontesla.com/2015/07/guide-restore-ascend-p7-b805-lollipop-to-b609-kitkat-firmware/) to do downgrade using the transition pack , then downgrade to the B609 and unlock bootloader according to the instructions (http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p7/general/unlock-bootloader-huawei-ascend-p7-l10-t2830641)

Bricked my S20 FE, can't get out of bootloop or power off

Hey guys, I recently tried to root my Samsung galaxy S20 FE and ended up in a boot loop.
Phone Info:
Model: SM-G780F
Country code: AUT
Software-Version of the Carrier: SAOMC_SM-G780F_OXM_AUT_RR_0002
Name of the downloaded firmware file: Samfw.com_SM-G780F_AUT_G780FXXU2CUCC_fac
Here's what I've done:
1. Quick Setup, enabled Development Options
2. Check allow OEM Unlock
3. Unlock Bootloader
4. Factory Reset
5. Download Stock Firmware - I downloaded the firmware for my country and phone model but it was a 2 version newer base build, maybe this caused the boot loop?
6. Extract AP
7. Add boot.img.lz4 to boot.img.tar via 7zip
8. Transfer file to Phone and download Magisk Manager
9. Patch file via Magisk manager and transfer resulting File to PC
10. Boot in download mode and flash ap via Odin
11. Reboot
12. Boot Loop

Result of Odin Flash
The Problem is that i can't get out of the boot loop to flash a new image or wipe cache in stock recovery.
When i press volume down + power at the boot screen the phone turns off and instantly turns on again. I tried letting go of volume down + power after the phone turns black and instantly press volume up + power, no success. I tried connecting the phone to power, this results in a charging image which is stuck and can only be escaped from via the soft reboot, volume down + power, which results in a loop again.
Does anyone has an Idea what I did wrong and how i could unbrick my phone? Right now I'm letting it run out of battery to give it some more tries of getting into recovery or download mode.
Thx for any help.

How do i restart in download and recovery? I only can soft restart and can't power of from the boot loop.
To start in download mode ...
press and hold the volume up + volume down keys at the same time
Then connect your Galaxy to a computer using a USB-C cable.

Lol makes sense, if i use a boot.img from another firmware i have to fully flash the other firmware parts aswell.
in step 7 you say you added boot.img.lz4 to boot.img.tar before you patched the boot.img with magisk. unless it's me missing something you may wanna recheck your steps before you try again.

no you don't, when you said you'd added it that threw me.
basically extract it the boot.img, patch it from the phone, put that back onto PC and compress it and place into tar archive, flash the whole firmware.
