I've had the option attached enabled. But notice none of my new apps that I install are showing on my home screen. I'm not using any launcher's. I've also got add apps to home screen enabled.
Cheers

My rom is the one on signature and there isn't any option to keep screen of the tab on while charging. I've looked into dev option, energy save option and screen option. No such a an option.
Have you found it out?
Download llama from the play store. It's free too.

R: Keep screen on while charging option?
Solved with this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gr.androiddev.ScreenOn
But I still don't get why that option is absent in this tab.
Does any one know any thing about lockscreen widgets feature that we read about and never saw it
Try to swipe to the left from your lockscreen, you will see a + icon. (Also by swiping to the right will launch the camera app).

I tried a lot but nothing happened is there some settings I should set first?(I know about the camera it's working good)
Lockscreen widgets is disabled by default. To enable it, simply go to settings>security>under screen settings you will see an option called "turn on widgets". Tap it to turn on.

thnx sir but its only 2 widgets i can create on this (showing calender and picart only) any further help plz.
Twice in about a week's time this has happened: I'll go to swipe down to get to that window showing settings, quick view icons etc. I'll swipe and nothing happens, almost as if it's not a feature. I restart the phone and then it's fine

What launcher are you using?

I'm talking about the little microphone icon. I used to tap it then tell Google what to search for. I've had it go missing before on previous on my Note 5 but I figured it had to do with the custom ROM I was running. But now I'm 100% stock and the microphone has gone missing again.
I use nova launcher and when I restore my saved launcher configuration the app icon appears but then disappears as soon as I try to use it.
Maybe the app was updated and you'll have to place a new widget on your home screen for it to stick.

Is there a setting that locks the home screens to portrait but still allows the apps to rotate to landscape?
I don't believe there is anything in Android settings, but you could use a 3rd party rotation control app like Ultimate Rotation Control. Set it up so OneUI Home or whatever home launcher you're using is forced into Portrait mode

Try Settings -> Display -> Home screen
You should then have an option to rotate Home screen to landscape or not.
I hope that helps!View attachment 4916397

I didn't even notice that setting, probably because I've been using Nova Launcher forever. That setting gets blacked out when using other launchers. Thanks for clarifying.

Since Samsung UI has come of age I don't use Nova anymore ... and UI is getting better with each update! It does all that Nova did when I last used it.
