P30 pro frequent failed to connect to camera

This forces me to restart my phone most of the time. Anyone having the same issue?

had the same issue with my mate 20 pro when switching between the different lenses (wide &normal) but it disappeared with future software updates

P30 Pro having camera problem

Hi guys
Bought new P30 Pro. Checked a camera it was good but once I try to change camera mode or lens, it freezes instantly. Gives error '' Cannot Connect to Camera''
Plz Plz Plz help me to solve this issue. After couple of days I can go to service center but now it is so frustrating

Didn’t work

If there is an update? Usually p30 pro's update comes when you turn on it.
It can be software problem. Try to check update. If it won't help - just return it.

Hello guys, I'm a little bit unhappy with the camera quality of this device... I have updated to Android 10 and the camera it's very bad in low light.. The pictures have no sharpness on front camera, I have switched to 20mpx but still no effect, for the back camera also the picture quality it's very bad, I don't know what settings to do, gcam unfortunately it's not working for this device... I have a mi 9t and the picture quality it's much better than the p30 pro and I don't know what to do... ?

Download fw to Android 9.1 .0.260. It worked for me.

Problem with gyroscope

Hi, i have problem with gyroscope on my p30 pro android 10.When i use "Lg Webos Magic Remote" app there are lags with pointer on tv about 0.5 sec. I used it on Oneplus 6T and it was working smoothly. I've tried this app on my wife's P20 pro and it is the same lags. Any suggestions?

If the 'problem' exists on both your P30 Pro and your wife's P20 Pro, what makes you think its a faulty gyroscope on your phone?

I was reading about some people problems in pubg game on huawei phones - people had lags in game.
"So i switched from galaxy a7 2018 to huawei p smart an i noticed that gyroscope on huawei is really delayed and slow in pubg mobile and anything else related to gyroscope so does anybody know how to fix that because things like playing games with gyroscope or watching vr is really bad expirience."
As i said before i didnt have anything like that on oneplus 6t it was also on android 10. Experience was like i would use orginal magic remote from lg. So somethong has to be related with huawei devices.

P30 pro - lock screen PIN slowness

So I bought a P30 pro.
Upgraded from a p20 Pro.
An initial problem I've found is that the lock screen isn't as responsive.
I'll clarify. I use a PIN code to unlock my phone - not face recognition or fingerprint.
PIN is more secure as long as you use a longish code.
Anyway - I'm used to this way of doing things - but the p30 pro is just nowhere near as responsive as the p20 Pro. Sluggish - some key strokes don't even register.
Whereas the p20 is just about the fastest phone I've used for this.
It means that almost every time I use it I have to be super precise with my typing, to the point its really annoying and and almost a deal breaker.
So is there some kind of bug - or is this a symptom of the curved screen edge? Or something else?
Anyone else noticed this?
Mine is a P30 Pro locked to EE.
Any thoughts on this would be really appreciated.

Question Battery drain and glitchy fingerprint sensor ?

I recently purchased a Realme 8 Pro that landed home 2 days ago, my previous phone was a Huwei P30 Pro I bought in 2019 and I have to admit that the power consumption is a bit weird/disappointing.
Despite the 8 Pro having a bigger battery than the P30 Pro, battery seems to drain faster for unknow reason, I've enabled every options available in order to save as much energy as possible but it still very far from what I may have experienced with other phones
I'm even using Pixel Filter in order to save some battery by disabling led tiles but it doesn't seem to help that much :/
Is anyone here sharing the same feeling ? I've heard that this issue was already adressed in a previous update from Realme.
Same goes for the fingerprint sensor, I had my fingerprints correctly set but sometime it will unlock the phone and sometime it won't, very very annoying.

i have the same thing with fingerprint sensor. Sometimes it works, sometimes not...

Am too facing the same problems as you mentioned, probably a custom rom would fix our problem. Soon expecting a custom rom for our device.
