Hi, i have problem with gyroscope on my p30 pro android 10.When i use "Lg Webos Magic Remote" app there are lags with pointer on tv about 0.5 sec. I used it on Oneplus 6T and it was working smoothly. I've tried this app on my wife's P20 pro and it is the same lags. Any suggestions?
If the 'problem' exists on both your P30 Pro and your wife's P20 Pro, what makes you think its a faulty gyroscope on your phone?
I was reading about some people problems in pubg game on huawei phones - people had lags in game.
"So i switched from galaxy a7 2018 to huawei p smart an i noticed that gyroscope on huawei is really delayed and slow in pubg mobile and anything else related to gyroscope so does anybody know how to fix that because things like playing games with gyroscope or watching vr is really bad expirience."
As i said before i didnt have anything like that on oneplus 6t it was also on android 10. Experience was like i would use orginal magic remote from lg. So somethong has to be related with huawei devices.

I'm new to the P20 Pro and have tried to connect my Fossil Q Explorist.
Factory reset on the watch, fire up the Wear App, it finds the watch but then spins on the "Linking" popup.

I've successfully connected an LG Sport Watch to my P20 Pro via WearOS. The watch has LTE and has a SIM card. I notice delayed alerts on my watch. And I sometimes get messages on my phone saying the watch is continuously reconnecting via Bluetooth. I think it's a Huawei issue, not the watch. I had similar issues with my Mate 10 Pro and in order to get them to connect, I ultimately needed to factory reset the Mate 10 Pro...
I think given the industry wide battery life issues on Smartwatches in general, I'm going to wait for the watches coming out this fall where Qualcomm (actually in today's news) is announcing a new smartwatch processor which will greatly enhance battery life on Smartwatches. But yes, that means buying a new watch...
Good luck and maybe try to get Huawei on the phone for support and if they can't help, try your watch manufacturer.

i've had 2 p20s and i've connected both just fine to 4 different AW devices (2 Huaweis and 2 moto 360s) so i'm all good on my experiences.
i am excited about the new qualcomm processors, but will see if the battery life is an real-world exaggeration or not. going from a regular watch to a pebble and now down to AW is kinda tough, but my huawei watch 2 at least now gets me two full days with an additional option for power saver modes. Them LG watches look terrible, so if the pixel watches are anything close, i'll stick with the HW2
I have a Huawei Watch 1.
I use Feel the Wear, and I've had to whitelist that and the Wear app from the ridiculously aggressive App Launch thing, but no problems since then.
Thanks. I have a Huawei watch (1) and an lg g watch r I can try too. The fossil just hangs at linking.
Hi!
I switched from P9 Lite to P20 Pro, and I am copying a lot of photos from my old phone to the p20 pro, but the transfer is sooo slow for me.
Any suggestions on how to somehow fix this? Do you face this issue too?
35 mins plus for like 400ish photos is I think too much.
Thanks!
I have been using a Note 3 pro with android 6, and works perfect with AA, but now, with a Note 6 Pro, AA show half sized, with black stripes up and down, and touch screen does not work correctly.
I have been reading a lot of forums about it and seems that Xiaomi does not have any solution, only wait for Pie !!
All phones with Android Oreo have the same problem. F1, Note 5 pro, Mi 8, Mi 8 lite, Mi 8 SE...
Any other solution ?
It really sucks, my new phone and I can't use with AA.
Same boat as you... Xiaomi Poco F1: black bar without any icons on the car's display, car display flickering some times, and unresponsive phone lock screen until force rebooted... I'm already running a custom Rom (not MIUI) with Android Pie, so Xiaomi's 'wait for Pie' recommendation I'm afraid won't fix the problem until they decide to really look into this issue...
Hello,
I paid 990 euros on this Huawei P30 Pro back in June. I am very very disappointed by this phone. It is an awesome and powerful phone but there are these small things that make me regret buying it.
The biggest and annoying issue is when i send videos on facebook messenger to my friends. Randomly, sometimes, after the video is uploaded and sent to my friend , let's say a 20 seconds video, i can see it and play it totally normal, but the other party( my friend or the people from the group) will see the video as it is 0:01 seconds long and if they press play on the video..the image moves for 1 second, but after this, the image gets stuck and the video continues until it reaches 20 seconds.
Yesterday, a friend with a Huawei P20 Pro sent me a 40 seconds long video and guess what. After 00:33 the image stuck and the audio continued for 7 more seconds.
This is definitely a problem and Huawei should work together with Facebook App developers and fix the issue.
Also, if i uploaded stories on facebook, the resolution is bad. It looks like the videos were recorded using an 6 years old phone.
In this thread you can see more people that are having this issue. FACTORY RESET DOESN'T FIX THE ISSUE !

I am very, very dissapointed by this phone.
I tried clearing the cache of the app, wiping the cache partition, nothing seems to fix the issue.
I complained to Facebook and to Facebook Messenger ( no answer so far), huawei does nothing to fix the issue.
After the software update from August, Wi-Fi Calling is not working on my phone anymore.
So, besides the fact that i don't recommend to anyone to buy this phone, does someone have any ideea how can i fix this issue?
Using messenger lite works totally perfect but Messenger Lite ruins the quality of audio/video of the video clip.

What makes you say that these problem are definitely with Huawei?

Because for the past 1 month i ve been looking on google for this..and the only thread i found with this problem is from Huawei phone owners
Hello,
I managed to fix the issue 1 week ago and i've been testing it since then and all is OK.
What you have to do is download an apk for facebook messenger from JUNE 2019 and all will be OK.
The issue is caused by the App itself and not by the Huawei Phone.
Make sure that after you install messenger version of June 2019 you will select MANUAL UPDATE in the play STORE so the APP won't auto-update.

What day in June is the APK you're using from? There were a few updates in June 2019. Or maybe, can you just tell us specifically what version. For example, June 1st is 216.0.0.20.114 (155388644) . I noticed this problem before June 2019, so do you think something in 1 of the June updates fixed it then a subsequent update broke it? I definitely think it's a Huawei problem because I have no issues with a Samsung s8 and S10.
Thanks
Same problem here

Hi, I have the same problem with Huawei P20. Did you fix the problem? How did you do? Thanks.
Hi, I recently bought this device because my asus rog2 lcd brokedown last week. I am PUBG gamer and always played it with gyroscope always on. But after playing PUBG on Realme C3, I can feel that the gyro is not usable, it always move itself even when I put the device on a flat device. I can feel the gyro delay for almost 1-2 second. I bought this phone just as a spare phone since lockdown still enforced in my country here. But it is such a waste, even after update A21 the gyro is still delay and inconsistent. The GPU for this device is such a beast for a cheap budget phone but due to gyro problem, this device is a waste for money unless you bought it for battery life purpose. So is there anyone know on how to fix this problem? I am thinking to sell it back eventhough just bought last week.
Does 360/VR mode work on YouTube though?
It is works, but I think for PUBG, it has a delay itself because idk, but for YouTube and Cardboard apps, it is decent.
I found the solution of gyro delay in pubg!!!
Hi guys, i am a pubgm player. I have realme 3 and the gyro delay is horrible on this phone. I finalyy found an app which almost completely removed the delay. I am an ace player and i am not promoting this app. Try it yourself. Happy gaming.
App name- Hyper Gyro
Search it on google play store.
I can't post links because i am a new member. I hope it works for you.
