RU ftf for dual. More clean than US, your language you can chose in startup manager
Dual sim variant is not officially sold in the US so you wont have it. What are specific reasons you needed from US firmware? If you are hoping for VoLTE or VoWifi you would have to change to some other devices instead.

They are the same phone, actually
I take it there isn't a fix for this presently? with a OS downgrade or otherwise? the Z4 can go down to Android 5.0 with official firmware.
Unlocked my SOV31 (au Xperia Z4) with the qUnlockTool (s1 network unlock tool) and this changed my "bootloader unlock allowed: no" to yes. I got the software and login credentials from a UK eBay vendor. If anyone runs into this information I hope it helps, took me forever to dig through threads on XDA/Reddit/GSM-Forum.
I need answers.
Hi guys,
i am currently owning a Sony xperia z C6603 device.
now nougat rom is already available for the device...however VOLTE is not.
So Dear Devs,
I know that VOLTE is a software based thing...so is there anyway that we can develop VOLTE for this device?
Thank you

If you use Verizon you need a device sold in the USA.
On xpericheck.com you see which device has an USA firmware.

H8296 (6GB DUALSIM)
Best hw choice.
Any version can be reflashed to US fw.

Check at xpericheck.com if the dual SIM has a us firmware (for verizon)
If you are a Verizon customer, things getting complicated.
But maybe some config files can get modified to fix the missing mobile network.
Custom ROMs will work of course.

Hi, thanks for your answers, I already have the H8296 in my hands and it works perfectly in the Cricket network, I am not in the Verizon network, the phone works perfectly, LTE + coverage even in distant places in the city, the only thing I have noticed is that I do not have the option of calls over WiFi, I will have to change the firmware to a version of the USA to activate calls over WiFi ?, I see that the H8266 has a firmware for USA, I can install it to the H8296 without problems? Thank you and waiting for your answers. I have firmware 52.0.A.3.84

Use Xperifirm to download the software.
NFC doesn't work, that's it if I remember right.
In the end I reverted back to JP software because I needed NFC.
If you want to get rid of japanese bloatware, flash /oem partition from taiwan or hongkong firmware.
use newflasher.
to flash just /oem, only put files that start with "oem" in newflasher's folder.
