[Q] How does one "launch in to recovery" while with TWRP installed?

Before I unlocked and installed TWRP on my Moto X, I had the option to restart into recovery mode which gave me system write access. But now with TWRP, when I press launch to recovery, it just launches my custom recovery; TWRP. How do I reboot into recovery like before, or is it not required anymore once I've unlocked the bootloader?

Since you have TWRP installed you already have read write access.
Have you flashed SuperSU to gain root?

Not required for what? Tell us what are you trying to do. The final goal.

I don't even... What I'm getting from your post is that you unlocked your bootloader and flashed a custom recovery but don't understand why you did it nor what the benefits of each are. Go read up on unlocked bootloaders and what their benefits are. You'll get your answer a lot quicker that way.

Root for Global GSM Moto G 2014?

Title says it all. Thanks for any answers!
I unlockdd my bootloader, and flashed the recovery twrp... Then just booted into recovery and rebooted into phone it will ask you swipe to root, then boot into the phone and you will have an app called superSU installer, then select the twrp option it will reboot you into recovery to root and then reboot you back into system and you are done

Mobile struck in bootloader warning

Hi, Anyone please help me.
My MotoG was working flawlessly after rooting Cyanogenmod 12 Official
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-t2993932
Then everything started after updating 21st build using cyandelta updater, then my mobile was stuck on motorola Bootloader unlocked warning,
then erased everything using adb by fastboot -w, then in recovery there was error that data & system is not mounted, then mounted system using twrp but was unable to mount data,
then after reboot my mobile is struck once again in motorola Bootloader unlocked warning,
only bootloader (fastboot flash mode) is working.

Are you able to boot intro recovery? Try flashing recovery again? And den install another rom!
If nothing works then try flashing stock rom from the bootloader itself?

Finally recovery worked, mounted data & system using twrp, yesterday i was unable to mount both data & system in twrp, installed CM12 official.
I had downloaded stock lollipop rom, if recovery had not worked i would have tried flashing stock rom like you told.
But anyways now everything is fine,
@pranshubatra707, thanks for the reply..

Recovery issues

So Im at a total loss on this phone. I had a moto e unlocked that everything worked fine on and Im not totally new to working on phones. But this phone has me stumped. I have a unlocked XT1095, that is rooted. I tried to install TWRP on it, I can flash the .img file okay but everytime I reboot the phone to go into the recovery menu option, the phone just goes black and shuts off. I can't get into the recovery at all or any of the other fastboot options. My specs are as follows, Moto X 2nd gen, 5.1, system version is 23.16.3.victara_tmo.tmo.en.US tmo build number, LPE23.32-21.3
Don't reboot the phone after you flash TWRP. Select recovery from fastboot as soon as you flash it.

I just tried that today and it still shuts the phone off. The other odd thing is I tried to do this OTA update that was only a few MB. Once I tried that, it booted into TWRP just fine but into a boot loop. I had to delete the cached update file in order to get it to boot up properly.

partition mis matched while flashing recovery

I FLASHED CYNOGENMOD in my moto g 1st gen and flashed xposed as well after reboot it was not showing root access so I tried flashing super su and got my moto into boot loop...
now I CAN BOOT IT INTO FAST Boot but not in recovery...so I cleared all data and everything via adb now when i am trying to flash recovery it's showing partition mismmatched..I've tried every version of twrp but the problem still persists ..plz help
