Is there anyone else suffering from screen burn or no response touches after really long time gaming even with charger on?

for starters don't game on the phone will it is charging
i am assuming that you were playing pubg with 60fps which heats the screen even without charging the phone
a very high temperature can cause screen burns and no response touches to any phone
TLDR: stop gaming while charging

Hi, I have Darky 10.1 installed right now. And it gets really hot while surfing the next on 3G network, charging or using the phone normal way. According to Spare Parts app my battery temp is around 38-45 degrees. is it normal ?
Share your temps please, especialy on Custom ROMS
Depends on your ambient temps but yes its pretty normal.. right now im getting 36c.. When I forgot and left my phone infront of the AC battery temp went as low as 22c
Yeah, it's normal - the battery usually runs at 30 to 50 degrees. Can get hotter if charging while playing, watching videos or browsing. So, don't worry - I've had mine pretty hot while watching hd movies for several hours non-stop while charging - the only thing that happened was the notification that the phone stopped charging coz the battery temperature was too high. Of course, this can't be good for the battery and the phone but I'm talking for temperatures way above 45 degrees - 45 is perfectly safe and harmless.
I was using the phone for about 2.5h with wifi on browsing reading some news and got the battery to 38%. Then I have activated the power saving option and locked the screen and went to bed. Now I just woke up and see that my battery is at41% wow. Did it charged up or what has happened?
An inaccuracy of the battery meter? It defenitely did not charge itself. That's physically and chemically impossible.

It's weird how it constantly increased from 38-41 it was not just a sudden jump... I got sudden drops in battery after a usual reboot, and but never a slow increase....

Actually yes it does happen.. I really can't pinpoint the reason though.. After heavy usage the battery does drain for a while after the usage and then since no usage some power is restored.. Same like AA batteries.. Example: Use AA batteries on a device till the device switches off.. Then leave the device idle for a while and battery will be usable for sometime though the device had switched off earlier due to complete drain..
I'm not an electronics person. So i dunno how or what makes this happen :silly:

There is no problem having 47C when playing games. There is no relation between disk space and CPU temp. 8-10 hours of battery life means nothing without info about display usage, wifi usage, mobile data usage. Mine can easily makes 2 days when I'm not using it at all. I really doubt it will last more than 8 hours playing games. Hope it help

20-25% of battery drop under heavy usage for an hour looks fine imo. You should take a screenshot of your battery graph and post it here so it will be easier to determine if 10 hours of battery life is normal in your case. You might want to look at this thread and compare your values: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2195079
Whatever you do, don't try to check your laptop's CPU temperature or you'll think it's about to cook itself to death!
45° is fine; maybe even a little cool for that kind of heavy usage. The One feels hotter than other phones despite operating at the same temperatures because of the conductive metal back. Don't worry.
Games/apps that use an lot of power are bad for the battery, as the battery gets hot as it discharges, and heat is shortens the life of the battery, But if you tablet is at 100% and plugged-in does all of the power come from the charger? , If it does come from the charger you will not have to have your battery replaced so soon, the cpu will still get hot but that cannot be helped, I have read that some people game in power saver mode as this limits the cpu power used and your tablet will run cooler and for longer, you will have to see if your game will work without stuttering in power save mode.
I have never tried this so has anybody tried it, one possible problem the user manual mentions touchscreen problems if you use the tablet while charging.
Get your six-axis controller connected and you are laughing.
John.
You will get touch issues if you try to do anything while charging.

I almost always charge while gaming (long sessions on intensive games) and have had ZERO problems...with anything.

I think it still uses the battery power and simply just charges what is being used even at 100% because I can still lose battery life while playing emulated games. There appears to be not enough power to do heavy computing with a simple USB charger. Tablets are incredibly power efficient in terms of how little they need to charge and their output. That is why even when the device is totally out of power, you have to wait a few minutes for it to turn on (as opposed to laptops, they simply power on without a battery.)
So basically, if you are charging while playing a game you are effectively shortening your life even further as the charging increases heat, you should only charge when the device has reached <5% in my opinion. Carry something like this in a backpack for emergency charges: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UBDI7EC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00
I got my phone a few days ago and i found my battery temperature would be 40°C or 41°C when i just
use some common app like FB,IG,Youtube. and when it was charging, the temperature went to 45°C .
is this the same temperature behavior on your Razer phone 2 or my phone got some problem?
Thank you a lot
I actually have the same thing happen to mine when I charge and when I open the camera app. I'm unsure if this is an issue or if it's normal as well.
