Qualcomm Snapdragon – 630 (Nokia 7 & Nokia 6.1 got DSDV support via update). Why not Moto X4? Both have the same SOC. Also, Moto One Power got Dual VoLTE in Android Pie update recently.

hi guys
i saw the review of nokia lumia 630 dual sim (passiv dual sim. only one sender/receiver built in)
plus i saw that my nokia lumia 920 just received an sw update regarding "being able to handle dual sim.." (net+).
=> so i wonder if it would be possible to change any lumia into a dual sim phone by using one of those dual sim adapters.
(of course you can use these adapters since ever but you have to switch between the sims manually)
would that work?
Hi,
I want to buy a Moto G Dual (2nd gen). The main problem is that I don't know if I can set different ringtone for the sim cards. Can someone tell me if it is possible? (Now I'm using a WP8.1 dual sim phone, there is an option for that but because a system bug it doesn't work... )
No option in stock. Can get different types of dual sim ring tone apps in play store.
HI, first sorry for my english, but I have problems with the NFC
1. Moto X4 + Canon DSLR / Not link
2. Moto X4 + Moto Z / Data transfering
3. Moto X4 + NFC tag rewritable / read, write, erase, etc. without problems
4 Moto X4 + Pionner headphones / not link
5 Moto Z + Pionner headphones / not link
then the motorolas NFC only works for transfer data, no for linking devices?? or both of my Moto have problems? (Moto Z android 7.x / Moto X4 android 8.0 feb)
I have been unable to get android beam or wifi direct to work on either of my Moto X4s with each other or with our older S5s.

Hello
i'm using Lineage OS 14.1 on dual SIM phone (xiaomi redmi 3 pro)
Lineage does not have the possibility to switch off one SIM like MIUI roms.
I would like to integrate this function but I am not able!!
I searched the web and found that the command << setSimPowerStateForSlot(getSlotIndex(), state); >> on framework TelephonyManager.java it is the function to perform ON/OFF sim.
how can I do? i have also root permission
Thanks
Check out Dual SIM control.

"Features
Compatible with Mediatek phones if used with a standard ROM (Sony-Ericsson, MIUI, and any ROM which have been heavily modified by the manufacturer can work, but are not supported)"
The Redmi note 3 Pro is not a Mediatek phone as it uses a Snapdragon 650.
I haven't tried the option of the Nokia 7 Plus to use the Dual Sim. I have bought the Samsung Galaxy A9 to use the Dual Sim. The A9 has the option to use two sim cards and place an SD Card extra. The Nokia 7 Plus can't do this.
Also the specs of the Samsung Galaxy A9 are better, but still, it has the Samsung Experience on it.
So, the question is, does someone use the two sim cars in the Nokia 7 Plus and what are the positive and negative sides of using the two sim cards in the Nokia 7 Plus?
Thanks in advanced.
Regards Ron
rubbish for dual SIM
Hi. Im using it. Compared to Samsung s7 this is rubbish. You select SIM to the network, not SIM number. I have 2 sims in same network. Private and job. And they are called the same, not SIM 1 and 2. It the biggest missing. NO Sound for sms tone alone, not select a sms Sound for other sim

you can set own name for each sim, in Settings/Network/SIM click on SIM1/SIM2 line (not on right slider switch, but on left)

With a Samsung dual sim is better integrated.
I have tested dual SIM in my Nokia 7 plus, changed the names. But still... My Samsung Galaxy A9 has better features for it
