hi all.. Wizz Bar is Mini Apps tray for your tablet
essentially shortcuts to some functions some applications you are likely to need quick access to, like Browser, youtube or Note
Enjoy
It would be great if there was 'really' a way to add the phone app to the Verizon version.

No... i just want to know how to change battery icon? Not about theme.
Could u tell me step by step how to change battery icon?
ok.. I use UOT Kitchen
http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/
1 -
2 - Select your battery
3 - then Select Upload system file
4 - upload your framework-res
thats it
ok I'll try it. Thank you very much
wow, thanks a lot ssaass.
Just a q, do we have to use CWM to upload this framework res file or can we just replace it manually? (All I did was use a battery mod)
yeah just replace it ( framework res )
I tried replacing it and the battery icons became very squished. I have attached a screenshot.
Any solution?

same problem here
no one have a answer about that problem ?
Is there a way to sort the bar?
It would be nice to be able to re-arrange the items without having to remove them and install in the order you want.
Thanks

I just opened the framework-res file and modified the buttons (one by one) to make them smaller (it should be a maximum of 16 px wide, I made them 16*38). There is usually a waste of space on the left and right sides.
not elegant, but a solution. If you want I can upload my framework-res for you.
thx my dear friend omarrabbat
i wanna just Battery icon like this

That icon is too wide, much wider than 16 px. It will look very ugly squished down.
I don't really have the skills/time to do much, but I have used these icons
. They were small enough to fit in the constraint that Samsung have made.
I have also attached my framework-res.apk
Edit: if you want to manually make your own, you need to open the framework-res file on your PC (use 7zip) and change the battery PNGs one by one. Use a software like GIMP (free) or PhotoShop (definitely not free), not MS Paint because it doesn't support transparency.
Apologies asking this here... but any idea when Wizz Bar is going to get ICS support?
Hey guys,
for some hours I flashed a STOCK-Rom.
Now i want to change the buttons from the status bar.
so i need a button with mobile data (activate, deactivate) and don´t need GPS and so on.
is there a mod to change this or an app for this?
i know, with UOT kitchen I can change lots of things, but not the function from buttons

There is not an easy way to do it, you must edit framework-res.apk. But you can go to google store and search for notification toggle, there is plenty of apps which support adding your custom picked options in widget form and show the widget in notification area. And then, there is a mod (for stock) which removes original toogle bar, which lets just with your custom one. Try it here . It says that it support V20O, so it should work on v20q also, but I haven`t tried it.
Edit1: Cyanogenmod let˙s you to change toggles directly on the phone.
Edit2: I saw that you are discussing about it in dev section in dj rom... Why did you even post here then...
its a interest question, you now the way in Framework-res.apk
i thing its somewhere in a xml

I've been searching as well. I'd really like to get rid of bluetooth, NFC, and the alarm icon.
Exactly the icons I want to remove.

In the past it was possible by editing some of the framework files to remove the icons completely from the library. Finding them can be somewhat time consuming. I'll look into it ... I've promised I'd look into a couple things and just haven't had time yet, busy time of year at work and the desire to get outside before the true summer heat hits has been strong ... but I will get there.
this thread shows you how to get rid of the NFC icon. I'd guess that others can be removed in the same manner

I'm not sure if there are options for the other icons in the CSC file. On other galaxy devices you needed to literally edit the framework files because the icons were hard-coded in there.
Great find though, CSC tweaks are always helpful and everyone should be able to do them.

There is an app call Notifications Off which I used to use but I haven't tried it yet on this phone. Here is the link if you want to try: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aboutmycode.NotificationsOff

Yeah, kind of sucks. It hasn't been updated since last year. It used to work great and even allowed different profiles that could be changed with Tasker.
How about hiding the whole status bar? Lol. so you don't see it unless you swipe down. you might need another launcher. Don't know if with touch wiz you can do that.

Touchwiz launcher won't do that but you can do that with a third-party launcher like Nova for example. Another third-party launcher I really like is action launcher 3.
Nova launcher can hide the notification bar. its a great launcher
Dying to get rid of the Verizon in the status bar!
I used the csc mod to rid myself of the NFC icon.

Hi,
Does any one know of a way to add date to the top clock, and battery percent in battery icon?
Preferably not root, just apps customization and ADB hacks.
Thanks,
Daniel

Take a look at this app in the play store, you'll need substratun and the samsung add on for it to work. Lots of different hacks and no root required.

Have you looked at SystemUI Tuner in the play store? I'm using it to make changes on the Status Bar, have to use a couple of adb commands to make it work without root.

I used Status in the past, but it has a bug, in that it does not show when Bluetooth headsets are connected. I did not get any replies from the developers.
I'll give it another run, to see if it still has the same issue.

You can use "system modes" and "status" together as I did.
look again on my picture. The date and the battery skull are the only things from "status" app. You can use "system modes" to "delete" what you don't like or what is duplicate (I use "system modes" to "delete" the battery icon and the clock), and stay with the "original" icons of the status bar.
you can color the "original" status icons with wings theme, and the icons/clock from "status" app, with the "status" app.

Unfortunately, Status still has the bug in that it does not show Bluetooth devices as connected , and I use my Bluetooth headsets like all day, so it's important to me.

this is why you should use system mods with status.
stay with the original icons, and just add the clock/date you wanted from "status".
