Is anyone getting the preorder email from Samsung.com?
It doesn't seem to be sending me the email.
After about 6 hours, I just received my preorder email. Went online and processed my order!
Just minutes ago, my order has been pre-ordered. Funny thing though, when I entered my CC the screen went dead, couldn't do anything then I switched to PayPal and voilà !
Received the pre-order email, but links me back to the Reserve page with no way to start the pre-order. WTF??!!

Try a browser cache clear. Had to do that in Chrome. Tried the pre-order link from the email in another browser and it displayed the Continue button correctly.

You had to add an accessory over $50 at the time of the purchase. I figured it out after my order, and no way to go back.
Here it is guys, found it my saved emails - it came from Samsung after the pre-order reservation so, I'd just hold on to that for now until they deliver the phone and then ask them for my $50 accessories founds.

You just have to call the number below, and tell Google that you want to cancel your order. You should get a cancellation confirmation email within 24 to 48 hours.

You can also send an email, by going to the Google wallet section of your google account (Sign in here: http://www.google.com/wallet). Once there, select the order you want to cancel, and click on "Contact Google Commerce Ltd". From there you can send a cancellation request email.

Selec cancel order I phoned them as well just to make sure it's easy and do a quidco first before you buy it and get another £11 of the 16gb vershion bargain you save £30 altogether.

I had ordered a N7 from Google Play on June 28 and have not yet received shipping confirmation or had my card charged, but I went to my local Staples this morning (BC) and was able to buy a Nexus 7 from them. I didn't preorder from Staples, just walked in and walked out.

You should put it on ebay as a limited edition Nexus and ask for $399.99.
I was taking comfort in the fact that it hadn't been released in Canada yet, but this confirms that pre-ordering was a $20 boot to the nuts.
Same thing happened to me too! Bought it from Memory Express this afternoon. Not sure what to do with my pre- order now. I tried canceling but was on hold for so long I couldn't wait.

Ya same here, but I ended up biting the bullet and got a 16GB one from Futureshop instead of the 8GB from the Play Store (put a request to cancel this morning and still no response :-\) but it turned out to be only about ~$40 more cause of that stupid shipping charge. It also said it would ship July 17th which is fine by me cause the Canadian launch looks like its going to be 'late' and ship around the same time.

I got my credit.
To those of you who has a pre order to from the Play Store and bought one in store, are you going to keep the other one? I called them and they said they can't cancel orders now and to just refuse the delivery. But they won't refund the shipping. Even though they don't think actually shipped yet.
I'm gonna wait. I'm gonna go play hockey in the meantime... maybe take out my frustration there... jk.

As far as I know, we can't cancel, just refuse delivery. But let us know if you're successful in canceling! I might do it, too.

Hopefully.. I ordered the 20th, and received mine Friday the 27th. I ordered hours before they took it off the market all together. When they were saying 3-4 weeks. It only took 7 days to have it in my hand, but. I also RMA'd it later that night for the screen lifting, and light bleed issues.
Now I'm waiting on a shipping confirmation for the replacement. I hope that one is solid.
Also wondering. Someone had said the other day Google and ASUS were aware of the defects and wouldn't be shipping any defective devices anymore.
Google declined my order 8 days ago. Said my credit card has a problem. I contacted the credit card company and they said nothing is wrong with it. Then I ordered stuffs from Amazon and everything was OK. Right now I can't access my Google Wallet account. I don't know what to do. ;((((((

Remove / Add the card again. Place the order over the phone so they can let you know immediately if there's an issue.

I'm trying to pre-order it off contract which is likely the problem. The Sprint customer service reps had told me I would not be able to pre-order because I'm not eligible for an upgrade. But the website lets me add it to my cart for 549.99 so I thought I'd give it a shot. Oh well, I guess I'll try the telephone sales department when they get in.

They would do that. Apparently KEEPING customers is not as good as getting new ones! I really hope RadioShack offers that deal for One preorders. That, or I'll probably look into getting one from Best Buy (if not as a preorder, then at least with some gift cards that I have). I'm not in a terrible hurry to get the One. Yeah, they charge taxes in California based on the full retail price of the phone. So depending on where you bought it from, the "off-contract" price would be the price they use to charge you taxes.

for cali, its been that way for a while now with sprint. the 4g lte pre orders last year, many people were upset as you are. nothing you can do about it as that is the laws here in cali...

The price is good, but my primary worry is that this phone won't have factory images available or be safe to root even if the bootloader gets unlocked after a sim unlock.
I also wouldn't expect any ability to convert to an international firmware even if the modem portions are retained.

I even paid extra for expedited shipping. It will suck to watch people walk out of the store with them on Friday while I wait till the middle of next week...
First Pre orders should be shipping out Thursday and delivered Friday on launch day. Check your bank account. TMobile will charge your card once your phone is ready to ship out. My card was charged a few hrs ago and pre order was placed on the first day.

When they ship it to you the IMEI for that phone is assigned to your account. They won't let you check out another device until you receive the first one. It's a hassle. I paid for next day
UPS shipping notification, delivery Friday. Excited about this McLaren addition.
I ordered mine on Tuesday evening via T-Mobile help on Twitter. Even transferred money into my account in case it charged early. My card was charged late on the 3rd and transaction was completed on the 4th. Hopefully I will get an update from UPS later today and so get the email update from T-Mobile with my imei. My order is a JOD upgrade. I got overnight shipping. I would have went into a store but I have to work 10-8 tomorrow do I can't get to a store.
I sure hope they ship them out tonight.

You're right, I would have just added it to another line on account and popped my sim in, returned to sender. Just put it on credit card.

Mine says 10:45 am to 1:45 pm. Good thing my wife works from home. She's even going to work in the living room so she can see the driver when he/she comes up on the porch. 99.9% of the time, they arrive sometime closer to 6 or 7 or later.
My daughter's iPhone on Halloween last year was supposed to arrive by 1:30, it got delivered at almost 9pm. I'm not paying $8 for the 2 hour delivery window, that from everything I have read and heard, also gets missed.
Once it arrives, I will be impatiently waiting for time to clock out and get home.
I really, really want this phone but the high chance of not being able to flash the international firmware is why I'm not going to do it.
