nothing?
what about just a cheap stote that sells cheap x1 stuff?
Also looking for a black battery cover
EDIT: Found one although expensive http://ucables.com/ref/BATTERY-COVER-SE-X1-P-R89657
have you check with sony support about a battery cover? or is it just that expensive. i dont think you will find anyone making a battery cover other than sony for the x1. i could be wrong tho.
if you cover is that badly scratched, why not just sand it, leave the metal bare or paint it. put a cover on it and it will not be noticeable.

How about I give you my account number and you can withdraw the money yourself . Get real.
My cover got scratched from using a PDAIR case that is leather on the inside as well. It started taking the paint off the edges. Hopefully somebody finds something for less than 40$, which is a little ridiculous.
@megacrazy,
I agree w/ you. Maybe on that ebay listing put a offer in. Ive bought from that seller before and Ive put in $7-$15 cheaper than what his asking prices is and he's has accepted everytime. Its worth a try...worst case senerio is he say no. But i definitely agree w/ you $40 is alittle steep.

Haha...thanks for the tip. I put in 30$ and it was automatically accepted. Still a little steep but better than 40$. I guess we can test the waters next time with some 20$ offers
Has anyone seen their new cover? Mine just got scratches while in vacation. I need the new one and didn't find one on ebay.

Let me know
a friend just bought a 4-5 day HTC diamond battey+cover for only $9.50 http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15622
and these people are selling us the cover for $40. $5 should be the maximum price for something like this
I've seen people mention the website http://www.tvc-mall.com/ a few times, pointing people there for parts, accessories, cables, etc..
Has anybody actually ordered from them, and received their products in good condition, and correct to what they thought they were ordering?
I realize that they are overseas, and that shipping can cost more, but the products are very inexpensive to begin with.
Or, would I be better to pay 10x the price and order from US Vendors (that get their products from overseas also).
Looking for real purchasing experiences please..
Thank you,
I have had two sales transactions. I have purchased a new front gorilla glass, three car chargers, two pocket cases, three A/V cables. I used PayPal. The items arrived within five days of my order.
I really like the company for gold service and great prices.
Thank you for the response. Sounds like you would order from them again if you had a chance, or need?
I was just very concerned about the low prices, and the location from which it is coming from, but using Paypal would help me be a bit more comfortable.
Has anyone had any experience with replacing a screen digitizer of the galaxy tab?
I have a two huge scratches in the glass. I'm not sure when I replace the glass it is going to get worse. Then I don't have any scratches anymore but something else is wrong. Like the screen not fitting or the quality is worse or something like that....

Yes, I love the prices and the fast, great service. The shipping costs are the bad thing, but TVC-Mall doesnt control that.
What are you ordering? I need a few things - maybe we could combine to save on the shipping - it's $30 to the US.
I replaced my front glass. It's pretty easy if you are familiar with replacing stuff in ipods and phones. Go see a video first. Google "front glass replacement galaxy tab" and see the tab tear-down video on youtube.
Ranger, I'm still looking around the site, but I am looking at a car mount, stylus, and some accessories for my wifes Epic 4G.
Combining an order sounds like a way to save on shipping.

Road trip!
I bought this flip cover advertised as genuine on Ebay and when it arrived I realized there is no NFC chip in it (mentioned in the listing, but I didn't see it). Additionally the colour is more black that grey, so it doesn't really match my phone + the texture of the back panel is different than the original panel of the phone. This makes me think it might be a fake copy.
But then I called Samsung Technical Support and one very cocky guy told me Samsung doesn't manufacture any covers for its phones and what they sell on their website is from 3rd party - WTF???
So is there a Genuine cover? And is there a genuine one without a NFC chip in the back?
How can I tell if it's fake?
it says right in the listing "no nfc chip" go re read it

So is there a Genuine Flip Cover without NFC chip?
And what does Genuine actually mean in this case? Made by Samsung? Made for Samsung? Not affiliated with Samsung at all?
It's just that the whole cover feels of cheap quality.

This is one of the non-genuine ones that have NFC:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Support-..._MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item53efdbedaf
Wow, they really went out if their way to sell this as the original flip cover. You have to be really careful when buying stuff like this. Watch out for words like Genuine, OEM, and Original.
To my knowledge, Samsung includes the NFC chip in all flip covers. Why would they offer one without? That really makes no sense. Why leave out something that costs so little only to disable one of the included features out of the box?
When the price is too good to be true that should throw up a caution flag.
Just curious, does the inside of the cover have the notch for the home button? All knockoffs I've seen do not. Just wondering how the actual product differs from the pics shown. The pics they've listed appear to be of the real flip cover. I guess they figured that most people wouldn't know the difference.

I'm assuming you're UK based from the ebay link? I bought the grey flip case from a UK seller (link below) and can confirm the NFC chips are in these ones. It was delivered within 2 days. I presume you can probably find one a bit cheaper but anyone selling the non-NFC versions should really be making sure everyone is aware of this too and as 'carhigh' mentioned the ebay page you linked to does have this stated right at the top. I'm presuming the product code of the non-NFC ones will also be different.

Now that you mentioned, no there isn't a notch for the home button - another clue this isn't a genuine product. So far I've found these differences:
No notch for the home button:
Protective film at the back doesn't have the 3 squares with some instructions as in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=xvBERAUb-M0#t=33s Also the color of the whole case is more black than dark grey.
No NFC contacts. No serial number on the inside of the back cover as in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=4cyXej7zxo0#t=41s Different mold design as well.
The small phone image on the lower left side of the packaging is not full colour, but very dark. You can't see any details such as the time on its screen:
Also there wasn't any protective white piece inside the flip cover as in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=xvBERAUb-M0#t=28s
How these guys have 99.9% positive feedback is beyond me. I buy from ebay a lot and have never left negative feedback. I believe most issues can be resolved, but the one thing I can't stand is a blatant lie. That's what they're doing here. The product shown is not the product they're selling.

Has anyone found an alternative supplier for the paper pad than Lenovo themselves? If so where?
DIY: cut a A4 notepad to the right size and with a paper punch make the two holes
Works perfect
i tried finding the paper size based on international standards but unfortunately no joy. Are there any other paper standards that lenovo couldve followed to make the book pad?

After also searching for the paper size I came to the conclusion that Lenovo just uses a non standard format. I eventually bought DIN A5 paper and put it in the paper holder.
Lenovo paper
Here is a template for the paper.. Just cut it off an 8X11
Walmart sells the paper/pads/pencil for a discount if you live in the US
Updated paper template
I've created a fairly accurate paper template with cut lines and a grid more like the original if anyone wants it.

I am selling a pen with ink refills and a notepad if anyone is interested
when it came to the papers i first tried to find the original to buy but it costs way to much so i ended up buying just normal plain standar bundles of A5 size paper like theese and then i just used a normal paper punch to mke holes at the top to fit the pins on the pad.

Purchasing the ink refils directly from Lenovo seems rather expensive at 3 refils for EUR10. After some quick searching I came accross these: http://autopointinc.com/ministar-ink-refill.html which appear to be the same refils from the original manufacturer at 5 refils for $5 and a choice of colours.
EDIT: I'll add that I have purchased and tested them to ensure they do in fact work.

I bought a pack of 100 for less than $9 on AliExpress (http://s.aliexpress.com/v6j2a6fa) . Sadly, they only seem to have blue or black. The refill works perfectly. As with all things AliExpress, you'll have a bit of wait until they arrive. Shipping time was 2 weeks to Germany.
Apparently 67mm is a pretty standard multipen refill size (these are 68mm), and refills that look as if they might work can be found at http://www.cultpens.com/c/q/explore/product-type/refills/d1-multipen-refills and https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=node=1069832&field-keywords=d1
Edit-Yup, confirmed with a mini-pen I've got that uses a D1. We wanna look for D1 refills. Jet pens also has lots of options, including Gel. http://www.jetpens.com/search?q=d1
I've ordered some purple ones. http://www.jetpens.com/Monteverde-Soft-Roll-Ballpoint-Pen-Refill-D1-0.7-mm-Purple-Pack-of-4/pd/7802
Edited Edit-The D1 refill I have doesn't work when writing on the book pad. It picks up every gesture of the pen, not just what you actually write. OP, did you have this problem with your non-lenovo refills?
Not the OP, but my refills (exactly 67 mm) work when writing on the book pad. Could the extra mm be causing the issue?
I bought some standard D1 refills from Amazon and they worked fine with the pen and pad. A lot cheaper than the Lenovo refills and are also readily available from high street stores.
The Samsung Note 4 stylus also works with the digitiser pad, the button even works on compatible apps.

I've found the same problem. I ordered one of these Uni Jetstream cartridges, and it ceases to detect pen distance and pressure when you put one of these in. It acts the same as if there were no nib in it -- it will start tracking the pen and 'writing' even when you are off the paper.
I'm guessing the EMR system doesn't work with the conductivity of that specific refill, or something.
I'm on a quest to find a refill that writes better than the original nibs. Has anyone found any gel refills that work with the digitiser?
Firstly, apologies, I can't post URLs as I don't have enough posts.
I found this thread after trying some cheap refills off amazon - and like others, found they didn't work properly on the digitizer with the same problem of light lines appearing even when the stylus was not in contact with the digitizer.
I came to the conclusion that the metal composition of the refill was the problem - if you hold something metal (in my case a small nail) next to the tip of a stylus with a genuine refill, then it messes up the digitizer sensitivity. This would make sense as different metals will interact with electromagnetic fields differently and the EM of EMR stands for ElectroMagnetic.
Checking out refills for the Bamboo Spark pen mentioned previously I found them for sale at Misco dot uk.
The interesting line at the end is "The unique brass casing is essential to the use of Spark, as it helps the communication between the pen and the sensor board for optimal performance." which backs up my thinking.
I have found a supplier in Switzerland (Starminen dot ch) and have ordered some. I will update this thread when they arrive.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, the refills I ordered are only €1.19 for 5 plus postage - came to €5 for 2 packs plus postage to the UK.

Thanks coredump I took the plunge and bough the pack of 100 in black as well for $8.86 from Ali Express including shipping to the UK. Arrived in about 15 days and they work perfectly with the Yoga Book transcriber.
A little bit inky compare to the Lenovo ones i.e. when writing a few sentences there may be a tiny bit of extra ink so need to be careful not to drag my hand through it and smudge it. However for the price I'm delighted. I figure all things being equal that those Pen refills should see me through a few happy years with the yoga book.

Sorry I'm so late in getting back to you. I hope you like the refills. As for paper, I ended up making my own in Inkscape and cutting them to size with a paper cutter. This might not be an option if you don't have a paper cutter at hand. I would be happy to provide you with the svg files or convert them to pdf if you want to give it a try.
