As of the 12th Verizon has officially released update # 5 firmware version N960USQU1CSB3.
Check out Verizon's update web page & see for yourself firmware update #5 (pie) is posted finally.
Still doesn't mean I can get an OTA update even when spamming the "check for update" option.
Oh well.
You guys should have better luck. One Hope's anyway.
Of course you can update through Verizons update software while connected to your PC if you choose.

Tried to update this way. The tool said I was already on the latest firmware.
I'm downloading the OTA update as I type this.

I just updated and all is good at the moment.

I've no idea tbh man.
I did have a popup that needed me to update/confirm my emergency information before it activated. It's a stretch but it's the only thing I had to do so maybe???

I am on the CSAA release and have had wifi calling issues myself. It is activated on mine I can receive calls via wifi but outgoing hangs up. I imagine it will have to be a reset to resolve at this point. Haven't wanted to do it yet.

Yeah I read more about that and it mentions it usually takes about a week for new updates to hit that tool.

I had the same problem but it suddenly started working. Not sure if it was a coincidence but it activated after turning off the 'Video calling' feature under the 'Wifi calling' option.
Also, search for 'WiFi-calling' in settings, select it, tap Battery, and make sure 'Optimized battery usage' is not optimized.

It is not battery optimized just checked, which settings menu has wifi calling option? I had it in 8.0 not 9.0

I just figured it out, my verizon services was disabled in apps. Working now.
So good lock in gakaxy store will let you move the clock back to the right.
Thanks all
I just had to point out that I received my update on March 14th. Yes, Pi Day.
Just got the CSD1 update that just rolled out.

The wife and I both have received this error message that can not be gotten rid of by rebooting "facebook (build 144481) download requires network" it just will not go away. We have strong 4G LTE and WIFI signals. Not sure what it is. We rooted both phones with the tools found on this forum. Any help or direction is greatly appreciated

Not sure if it has anything to do with it or not, but later in the day that my wife received her error message (yesterday) she got the JB update
I also got the Facebook (Build 14481) download popup on my Samsung Galaxy S. Uninstalling Facebook app does not help and rebooting also does nothing.
How do I get this Facebook download notification to go away and stop it from downloading?
Again not sure if it has anything to do with JB rolling out, but now my "system updates" option in "about phone" is unavailable
Facebooks latest android update is skipping Google play store. They're updating directly through Facebook. Which raises a lot of concerns. And I'm sure rooted or custom devices are conflicting with this change.
I got the same thing on my GNex. I was able to long click the download and stop it (download manager), but it started again shortly. I just cleared the cache in D/L manager, we'll see how that goes.

Mine kept trying to download over and over and over...
I turned WiFi on, and it finally went away. They probably made it so it only downloads over wifi, but they probably stupidly wrote it so it polls for wifi connectivity instead of registering for a callback event. My phone was getting hot, until I got this notification to go away.

the Facebook (build 144481) download restarts again....and NEVER gets anywhere or does anything!!
WTF!!!
If you connect to WiFi and click on it, it will look like its downloading and then it will go away. DROID RAZR HD!

UPDATE
Issue Resolves with WIFI use...whatever the Facebook (build 144481) was or is.....
This thread should probably be moved to a more general area. I'm also receiving it on a Samsung Vibrant rooted on 4.2.1.
Possible fix.
Long press on the error and then select app info, force stop. That should do it.
I got the same thing on an LG escape, and turning on WiFi doesnt help it. Nor does a reboot. Fing FB that I dont even use.

Tried that, it just comes back like 5 minutes later. I'll have to try connecting to wifi to see if it clears. Right now it seems to go on indefinitely without showing any progress. BTW I have an HTC One X+ stock.

fixed or resolved the issue for me in a matter of seconds...perhaps whatever the download update is....yours is locked up...try rebooting and having wifi on, so when the download restarts it's utilizing the wifi from the start...
Mine is gone!
Mine doesn't do that anymore. I first uninstall all facebook apps including the messenger one. You might have to clean the catches too.

I got this crap too now. When I get home I'll see if the Wi-Fi helps. At least I know I'm not alone!

I have a small data package from Verizon (to save money) because I typically use Wifi for most of tasks. I don't stream music/videos or anything like that...However I was a bit annoyed when my Moto X auto downloaded the OTA update in October via LTE ( I was not in a Wifi area). Is there a way to tell the phone to wait to download the pushed update until I am on wifi?

it didn't auto update it. it pops up says there is an update available for the phone do you want to download. maybe you clicked it in your pocket or clicked it and didn't remember, but either way, you are prompted before it downloads it, so make sure before you click that, you are on wfi...

np. fyi checked around for a over wifi and to see if data counted for the ota. apparently is does count towards your data from what people said, and couldn't find any options for it. so thats the best option i found.
Early last week I ran an OTA update that took my phone 4.3 and 3.24.531.3. After the update the WiFi was connecting to wireless networks but was not receiving an internet. I tried changing the phone name to "HTC One" like many others have done and that didn't fix the problem. So I unlocked, rooted, and flashed a custom ROM thinking that would fix it. I was still experiencing the same problem.
So last night I relocked and ran an RUU to take me back to completely stock so I could run the next OTA update to take me to 4.4.2 and 4.19.531.10. But since I was not able to access any WiFi I had to use internet pass-though connected to my laptop. Even after the 4.4.2 update, I'm experiencing the same WiFi problem, but now I can't turn WiFi on at all. I have not tried re-unlocking and rooting yet either.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this?

I thought it may have been router settings at first too since I was at work when it first started happening, but it does the same thing at home as well.
I'll try changing it to something else again. Thanks for your reply

Yes, I understand that. I've done it before. Last tine it was named "Android_xxx" with some numbers and a letter I think. I tried that when I was one 4.3 and it didn't solve anything
First I have to get the WiFi to even turn on at all now
Just unlocked, rooted, and flashed with ViperOne 5.0.0 and I'm still experiencing the same problems. What's weird is that after the first boot, when you are asked to connect to a wireless network, my home network shows up, so that tells me the WiFi is on when it boots, but when I tried to connect, it failed.
Then once I was finished with the initial setup, WiFi won't turn back on, even if I go into the settings and try to turn it on manually.
Any problems taking this up date.

I reverted back to NAF and used Kies to update to NC6. Also, from my home I disabled IPV6 in my router and now everyone I talk to states the phone sounds great! I guess maybe some settings in hotspots makes a difference...

My phone would not take the OTA. I ODIN'ed NC6 and that worked.
I had to call Sprint to get Wi-Fi Calling activated. Afterwards, it works just fine.

I've got NAF and root plus I've removed some system apps. Phone will not take ota. If I use odin to go to NC6 will my wife lose all her programs and data? I'm an htc person and this samsung stuff is all new to me.

Been having this issue for a couple weeks now, the playstore works fine with the factory version of 5.1.x but when it automatically updates to 5.3.6 I get the error DF-DFERH-01. I've googled around and found many people having the problem over the years with various fixes. However there seems to have been a flare up recently, especially for people with HTC One M7/M8.
The following link has several fixes, but none of them stick for me and a few others.
Edit: I can't link yet, search google for DF-DFERH-01 - the wikitechsolutions website is the one I'm specifically referencing, however all websites I've visited have the same fixes that don't work.
First you have to go to Settings > Applications > Manage applications
Once here you go to the "All" tab.
Seek the Google Play Store app and press "Clear Data" button.
Then look for "Google Services Framework" or "Google Service Framework" application and do the same.
Then restart the phone, wait a minute and ready.

I even did a factory restore, once the Play Store updated it gave me the DF-DFERH-01 error again.
Anyone else having this issue?
I've been having the same problem no matter what rom I'm on.

Misery loves company I guess, hopefully a solution will come forward for those of us that can't do anything to fix it.
Same Problem
I have been having the exact same problem, and tried those temporary solutions. It is very frustrating.
In fact I did a factory default reset, and it didn't work.
same problem here. play store only works briefly after I force stop and uninstall updates. but as soon as it auto-updates itself, I get the error again.
I was having same problem until 2 days ago. Im running nusenseven v3 and 2 days ago I flashed santods sprint patch so I could update my prl and profile and it seems to have fixed the playstore error for me too. Unless its just a coincidence, but it might be worth a try for anyone else that is as frustrated with playstore as I was.
