All... weird problem. Just came from a Galaxy S8 to a s10.
When I connect to my 2016 Audi S7, sometimes it happens where i can hear them but they can't hear me as if I'm on mute. Only way to continue is go to speaker or earpiece not on bluetooth.
Any suggestions? This is killing me.
No one has any ideas? It works sometimes then all of a sudden no one can hear me. Never had a problem with my previous S8
Got the same issue here with Bluetooth hearing aid. I can hear the caller but sometimes they can't hear me.
Issue was fixed by a recently released mmi software update by Audi
So this was a mmi issue ? I have the same problem , but in my Mercedes V Clas ...

My phone has an offical Kaiser ROM version 3.34.721.2 paired to a Motorola H780. I've noticed that the sound quality is pretty bad, I pickup a call and all I hear is static and have to disconnect then reconnect before I can hear the other person.
I tried it on another phone and it seems fine so it leads me to believe it's the phone. But then I don't have this problem with my BlueAnt Zi.
Anyone else have this problem?
Hi, I'm using a samsung galaxy s i9000. Just bought a bluetooth handsfree the other day paired it and its working fine.
The only problem is that the incoming call tone is fading. In fact even if you r alone in a very quiet room all by yourself... You can bearly hear it.
I tried the service mode but I don't understand all the bluetooth the setting and so.... I didn't meddle with it.
Would deeply appreciate if you can advice me in this area. My work really needs it.
Thanks in advance.
Hi everybody. I have just got my new HTC One and I am really loving it. But I seem to have run into a major problem which I couldn't solve despite trying everything. Whenever I receive or dial a phone call while using a wired headset or bluetooth headset, I can hear the sound in the headset for a couple of seconds but then the call is routed by default to the internal speakers and mic. All this while the phone shows that the output is going to the headset. If I change it to the internal speaker and back again to the headset (wired or bluetooth), everything works normally and I can talk and hear through the headset. This problem only occurs with phone calls and I am able to listen to the music through headsets normally without any sound quality issue. I have searched on various internet forums but all in vain. A few more people were having this problem but no solution was in sight. I thought may be an upgrade would solve this problem but alas even after upgrading to the latest 4.3 update, the problems remains. Hope somebody here can help me with this problem.
I've recently purchased a lovely headset from XiaoMi for my Huawei P20Pro.
It's Mi ANC & Type C In-Ear Earphones. Model: JZEJ01JY.
It has lovely audio and works fine with most of the features except...
When I made calls, the headphone will not hear any sound at all. no dial tone, not even when someone picked up the phone on the other end.
I noticed a quick fix for this error is to turn on the handsfree mode when you made the call; after you hear the sound from the handsfree mode, turn off the hands-free, then the sound will start coming in through the headset.
Another option is to wait until you hear the dial tone then only plugged in the headset.
It is not quite ideal considering the hassle of having to do so.
The error was so niched that I could not find generic help online at the moment.
Anyone shares the same pain or could provide some help here? Thanks!
Sounds like a compatibility issue. Use the stock earphones and check of the problem also persists.
Same problem with stock headset
Hi, same issue with the original headset that came with the P20 phone. Same clumsy solution. Have you solved it?...
I am running the latest Android 14. And recently whenever I use the Bluetooth in my truck I can hear whoever I call but they cant hear me. It plays music just fine. And this extends to calls made from Messenger and Signal as well. And just today I was in my wifes car which is a 2020 and I could not hear the person I was talking to after I disconnected and reconnected Bluetooth. I had to call them back and then it worked. Maybe not related but I was having trouble getting the speaker to work on my phone on the same call. And I am not having this issue at all in my car which has a new Pioneer system in it.
I did the usual troubleshooting as well so that is covered. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.
