Hi Everyone. I have the Pro - CLT-L04 on MetroPCS .
I found an issue and wanted to know if anyone else had this issue.
When on WIFI, I do not receive any INCOMING calls, people tell it goes straight to voicemail. Soon as I am off wifi, it works fine. I can make calls, but cannot receive them. This happens about 90% of the I am on wifi.
There are no setting to play around regarding WIFI calling or any of that.
Any suggestions?

I don't have the issue, but it sounds like it could be related to VoLTE or Wi-Fi calling.
Try to turn Wi-Fi calling on or off and see if it might help.

Hello! I have very recently bought a N4 on TMO, and one of the features I was eager to try was WiFi calling. However, it seems not to work. I can't send texts and can only call intermitently , but can't receive calls. I've been reading that this seems to be a known issue on the GS5 at least, but what about with the N4? Is there any fix?

Call t mobile and have then set it back up for you.
BAD ASS NOTE 4
I've had a few issues with WiFi calling. It is possible that it is my router, but sometimes when I make a call it will go through but the person on the other end can't hear me even though I can hear them just fine. If I turn off WiFi and try it using the mobile network they can hear me fine.
Sometimes it has to do with setting ur e911 address with tmobile if u get a red error message most likely means the 911 address is not filled in.You can call tmobile or go to tmobile.Com and set ur self.Maybe a new rom using international kernel wifi calling won't work must be a tmobile kernel
I also have issues with Wi-Fi calling. 2/10 times it works fine. The other 8 times it's one way audio. I can hear them no issue, but they cannot hear me. T-Mo says it has to be my router but the thing is I have 3 other android devices on T-mobile network on the same Wi-Fi connection that has no issues making or receiving calls on it.
Before the Note 4 I had an S4, which I still have and it had no issues either.
Hope they get it fixed.
It's not the e911 address because mine is already set, and I'm not more than 10ft from the router.

International kernel def not working atm.
My phone periodically doesn't receive calls or texts. I've tried resetting it. The calls don't show up in my missed calls but the voicemails do show up. I'm using the international version of the Note 8. Anyone know a fix?
Does the data drop out too when this happens? Try taking your sim card in and out again. Might be a problem there.
Have you got any do not disturb settings on?

Nope the data stays on. Outgoing calls work fine as well. All the do not disturb stuff seems to be off.

Are you rooted or did you install any custom roms, etc.?
I have had this issue with several phones, the culprit has been always the type of connection, sometimes even if full bars showing, I have to switch to 2g or 3g, 4g and 3g having the issue, 2g working always fine, dont know why, but I have learned to live this way, this happening since my S3, so, In my case is carrier signal fault

What networks are you both on? If it is the same, that may be your answer...
I would check with the network to see if the masts are under maintenance.
I wrote a post here in March 2018, but, some time later the issue diasppeared, from june, all is fine, in the end, I think it was the carrier that was working on the transition to 4.5G to implement their VoLte calls service
I have this same issue and with the same phone as well
I have the same issue, and i think it as to be with the position of the phone... when its down missed more than when its on vertical... could be just coicidence but its the only thing that i note
When I'm on 4G I recieve all calls... But sometimes when I'm on Wi-Fi and ond online, all my calls goes straight to my voicemail... Is anyone especially having this issue... I'm using the global version on MetroPCS with full bars...

So you haven't got VoLTE. Maybe it's a slow fallback issue. If you receive a call while you are on 4G, the phone switches to 3G or to 2G and, if this switch is too slow, the caller sees you as not reachable.

Try with another SIM with a different network, so you can understand where the problem is.
Apologies for bumping an old thread, but I'm facing this issue as well. The phone simply doesn't ring when a call comes from certain numbers. I've confirmed that these numbers are NOT in the 'blocked list' in Phone app.
The only way to know that a call is missed is to open the Phone app and see that a number is blocked. Happening with 2 different Mi A2 devices in the house
Has anyone figured out a workaround?
Disable spam protection
Apologies for a late reply. Disabling "Caller ID and Spam" in the Phone app does not seem to help. Am I missing something? Is there any other way?
Has anyone succesfully gotten their Pixel 5 to work with WiFi Calling on mint? It seems like I can but after a while it won't work. If I make an outgoing call on wifi calling, it will attempt for about a second and then hang up. Even after turning wifi calling off I have to reboot before it'll use the cellular network for the call instead. If I turn it on again, it seems to work for a little while, but only a little while. It's really frustrating.

Let Ryan Reynolds know! Just kidding, sorry to hear that. I have ATT so I can't weigh in.

Yep, I even contacted support and bugged them about it. The support person just disabled/enabled it for me. It worked for a bit but only for a bit.
Similiar Problem.

I read about a problem like this on facebook that a guy was having, he'd have to reboot to get calling to work and he'd miss some incoming calls.
I bought my wife a Pixel 5, it's too small for me and I even tried turning off WiFi Calling completely but occasionally it won't call out until she reboots it.
I have to think that this must be a software issue. I'm going to try disabling WiFI calling in Mint's settings too.
I did notice that if you put a Pixel 5 imei number in the phone compatibility checker, it says it doesn't support all features.
I found a page on the Pixel 4a 5G which said that they aren't selling the Pixel 5 but are working with google to fully support it.
Can any other T-mobile users weigh in? Is this a problem your experiencing or is it strictly a Mint Mobile issue?
Thanks

The turning off and back on occasionally is a little odd because of a problem I had on my previous phone, a Galaxy S10. At the time I was also on a AT&T/T-Mobile MVNO (Consumer Cellular) and I had to turn it off occasionally before it would call out and wifi calling would come and go. The only thing was, it was on Android 10, but it had the exact same problem and by coincidence both our phones were on MVNO's with the same parent networks. After I got the Pixel, I couldn't get wifi calling no matter what Consumer Cellular did, but this past weekend I switched to Verizon and everything is OK now.

Hmm, that's disappointing. It's really the only complaint I have though. I'll take $15/month over $50+ anyday if all I lose is wifi calling.
I'll be switching over to Mint shortly, hopefully it works well otherwise!! (I've been using Straight Talk for years)
