Screen Adjuster edge panel - Samsung Galaxy S10 Questions & Answers

I had this edge panel on my S9 and loved using it to quickly switch my screen blue light filter and brightness using the vertical slider but I can't seem to find it on my S10. Does anyone have a recommendation for replacement??? Thanks

color too bright

For same software, iphone display words as dark red,but note is bright red. My eye is very tired. How to adjust it?
Go to settings....display....brightness -and then adjust brightness. Alternatively, swipe your finger from left to right on the notification bar on top of screen to lessen brightness. You can also change screen mode (settings...display...screen mode) which can make colours less bright.
If you try and all these options fail, try some ray bans. They work for me ;-)

Also try changing the display mode to movie since the others are very oversaturated.

I advise you to use the free widget Screen Filter.
With this widget you can set your screen to every brightness you wish.

Ambient brightness level

Hi. Does anyone know a way to adjust the ambient brightness level for the always on mode?

The only solution I could find is to use a watch face that has a grey filter on top (of some sort).
Try the "crono watch face" from play (freeware) to see what I'm talking about.
you can recreate that behaviour in WatchMaker or Facer as well:
add a topmost 1px black image spanned to full screen and visilble only in dimmed mode
using opacity you can then change the brightness
you can even go ahead and have it adjusted automatically based on current hour or sunrise/sunset

ciao dettofatto
in watchmaker, I use the attached image scaled to 512x512px as the topmost layer and with the following forumla in the opacity field:
{dh23} > 18 and 50 or {dh23} < 7 and 50 or 0
red indicates the time in which to apply the filter (in my case between 19:00 and 07:00)
and blue how much the screen will be dimmed (higher number = darker screen)
I have the layer visible only in dim mode, so the watch won't be dimmed when active
of course, this only affects the watchface, not notifications or anything else
Im using the awesome A45 watch face, can adjust ambient light to whatever you like
I use brightness display for wear.
Brightness in fonction of time, position and activity
True Dark

I use the "SWApp True Dark" app. The levels (normal & ambient) are set on the watch after running the app there. There's a function to set the app on/off using slide but that can be disabled.

kids have been at my phone, how can I...........

Now when an alarm goes off my screen shows a coloured band around the outside/edge instead of snooze and stop.
What have they done and how do I fix it?
Settings - Display - Edge Screen - Switch off Edge Lighting.
Fixed
Thanks

Question Aod and camera brightness

Any way to have the camera screen not burn my eyeballs out when I use it in the dark other than manually changing the screen brightness?
Also-
Aod notifications light up the screen as bright as just waking up to the lockscreen/home screen. Any way to keep it dim other than just blocking notifications?

Question Is there a way to remove the Dex Brightness bar overlay when using brightness buttons?

It just looks really clunky to me, especially when the volume slider looks better intergrated into Dex.
