Recently i got my Honor 9 lite and in a few weeks i managed to install openkirin Resurrection remix. all was good till i decided that i was having ram issues so i then found out about project treble.
This is where the original problem started I used the ARM A Decendent rom and i flashed it to a bootloop. whenever i tried to go back to stock or RR i'd have the same thing. i've tried many things but eventually i made a batch file to erase and reflash all of the stock software.
now i made some typos and the kernal didn't flash. now im stuck with a brick that wont turn on. im ****ting myself. im very scared and i desperately need help. im a ****ing idiot.
Atleast when i plug it in my computer detects it as "USB Ser"
UPDATE: i installed some kind of driver on my PC. it now shows up as "HUAWEI USB COM 1.0 (COM 7)"
I'm actively looking for board software to fix this issue. if you are able to obtain it. DM me on telegram: @AmethystLegit
Its for a LLD-L31
+ I cant get into fastboot
Ok power the phone off fully so whilst it is plugged in your computer press and hold the power button till USB item is removed from the device manager now press volume up and plug the USB cable into a charger see if it will boot into recovery mode from there, then download the firmware from that area.

Hmm. i've held the button down but it only restarts. i've had it plugged in for awhile now and windows made a disconnect sound a few times. it hasn't unplugged itself. maybe ill check the device manager once thats happened again. and then ill hold vol up

It literally just happened. the item is still there. i guess we could run it out of battery
That could be one way or press and hold the power button for 10 seconds whilst disconnected from USB and hold the volume up button then plug the USB in while it's connected to a charger, the only pins needed is the power pins not data pins. volume up trick doesn't work whilst data pins are working I.E connected to PC you must use a phone charger.

Assuming the cable that came with the phone is a phone charger and not data. its not working. i dont think i have any of such around. ill try running the battery out.
meanwhile im now actively looking for board firmware to try a different method but i've gotten nowhere
The cable with the phone also has the data pins, else how would you transfer your files, please try using the Charger and Volume method like i suggested.

My attempt to root my stock Jelly Bean Droid 4 two night was inadvertently interrupted (cable was accidentally disconnected mid-process) and now I can't get it to do anything. It won't charge or boot into any mode at all.
I ordered a factory adapter from Team Black Hat, which arrived today (California to NY in two days, not bad USPS). I attached the adaptr, plugged it into my phone, and then connected it to my computer using the USB cable that came with the phone. Nothing happened. I left it a few minutes, and then tried the power button and the power + volume to try and get it into recovery mode. Still nothing. I've also tried a few different cables, to the same result.
When I remove the adapter and just plug in the cable, the green LED turns on and stays on, but only when connected to my PC. Plugging into the wall charger does nothing.
Have a missed a step some place or is my phone completely knackered?
Just rooting shouldn't have bricked it, what was the method you were using, file name?

Phone does not power on or charge...i
I was out during the day and when I tried using my phone it wouldnt turn on. I thought maybe the battery was dead. I didnt think much of it. I come home and tried charging it and led light doesnt come on. Now I'm really worried. I've tried most of the tricks including
- Press and hold power for 2 mins
- Press and hold power + vol up for 2 mins
- Press and hold power + vol down for 2 mins
- Hold phone under bright light and press and hold power + vol up for 2 mins
- Hold phone under bright light and press and hold power + vol down for 2 mins
- Connect to computer via USB. Computer does not detect phone device.
- Removed SIM card and repeated steps 1-5
What else can I try? What can I do to check if my phone is completely dead. This phone is only 1.5 years old.

Go to your Windows devices manager then connect the phone and check if its detected as QHSUSB_DLOAD or anything else with "qualcomm".

Hey Alray! Good to see you here!
Sadly, even I have encountered the same problem as above, and have also tried the recommended solutions/steps, but to no avail. Also, I'm on an iMac. Any steps for this platform?
Without using a charger press and hold down the power and volume down keys for two minutes; release after two minutes, plug a wall (not a usb to computer) charger; the phone will flash a red (orange) light and reboot several times with the battery logo....don't mess with it, eventually it will go solid red (orange) and boot; the moment you get to your icons immediately kill the display. It may flash up a few times, just kill the display and let it fully charge. I about freaked out when I couldn't get mine started after misplacing it for months and finding it and it was as dead as dead can be, but it started after I looked up how to get it to start; hope this helps. Cute signature, almost true though!

Hello,
I was transfering some files from my OP3T to my laptop with usb cable, and the screen went freeze-blur and then shut down.
Now it does not turn on, does not vibrate or charging, no led turning on and the pc does not find it anymore. It is dead =/
Do you know why this happened and how to turn it back on?
Thank you in advance
Hi buddy,
This is really strange that your phone is hard bricked after some data transfer.
The only advice I can give is try to search for: "hard bricked oneplus 3(t)" and follow the instruction.
If your phone is not seen as a qualcomm device when you follow the instruction than it could be that you phone is 'dead' by damage from the cable! It's just a guess from my side.

Edit: did you tried power + volume up/down?
A battery failure can do that. I would leave it for a few hours and the see if it turns on. If not, try charging it for a few minutes and then try turning it in with the power cable still connected.

Try leaving it plugged in for a couple hours, and then holding Power and Home. Weird, but worked for my. Hold it for like 20 seconds or so.
Hello,
thanks for your answers and effort to help me with my bricked phone.
I have managed to find my OP3T on pc under Devices ->ports -> Qualcomm HS USB QDLoader 9008 com3.
Now I am trying to unbrick it with OP3T Unbrick Tool but when I Run MsmDownloadToolV3.0 and press Start , I get a mesaage on 'Communication Status' that say ""Firehose Communication handshake Failed"' and stops, also this message "Sahara communication failed£¬please try again after power off the phone,".
Do you know how to resolve this issue?
Thank you again.

Try press and hold the power key for like 20 seconds after it vibrates release the power key and press it again when the soft keys light shows up... Hope it'll help.
Make sure your device is properly turned off first of all. You can do that by turning off the device via fastboot menu.
After that, when you are sure device is turned off... make sure to hold 30 seconds... do a little longer even, and plug it in to the USB that is connected to the PC.
I personally did that and it worked well. I also just rebooted my PC and it literally had been on for a couple of seconds, maybe 30 seconds. Started MSM in administrative mode and pressed start. Connected and installation went through.
Had same issues like you before that.
Ok, so I don't have buttons and USB debugging was off. Battery was drained, the phone turned off and now I don't know how to turn it back on. Is there any way through command line?
Put the phone on charge let the battery have some charge in it.
if any case volume down button is working then you can start your device by connecting usb to your device first and then holding down volume button and then connect usb cable to PC (your PC must need adb drivers installed if not then install it first)
test point method should also help but i am not sure though.
I charged the battery but the phone didn't turn on the OS, I can see the battery level only.
Uhm... I don't have buttons at all. I mean physically. They're gone because I broke the buttons' tape [emoji23]

My Galaxy note 5 was working fine but I didn't use it for 2 years without charging and now every time when I plug the cable to charge the phone shows white screen for a minute then go to downloading mode and stuck there.
Please find the attachments.
I tried to reboot holding power button only nothing happened.
Then tried Vol down + power + home
I get black screen then downloading mode again,I tried to hold for too long I get the same but the different is some lines appearing on the top left corner.
Hard Reset Vol up + power + home (nothing happens)
I searched for solution and found a windows app can fix android phones but it need to be connected via USB cable.
When I plug the the cable to laptop it doesn't even make any tone that something was connected... like nothing happened.
I installed the driver but same issue.
Odin doesn't show anything too.
Not trying to blow you off. You would be better served asking this question in the Note 5 forum: https://forum.xda-developers.com/c/samsung-galaxy-note5.4429/

Plug any usb capacity, voltage and amperage meter between the charger and the phone and see how much current the battery is taking in.
There are also chargers with an amp display.
A faulty battery can provoke this kind of behavior of the phone as in your case.
