[Q] Back to stock from NX5CM (XT1052)

Hi guys
i'd like to go back to stock from NX5CM and i have a XT1052.
Should a just do:
fastboot oem fb_mode_set
fastboot flash partition gpt.bin
fastboot flash motoboot motoboot.img
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
mfastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot erase customize
fastboot erase clogo
fastboot oem config carrier vzw
fastboot oem fb_mode_clear
I'd like to flash stock 4.4.4 XT1052

Not any different from the return to stock guide. Not sure why you thought your X would be any different.

i would consider skipping... fastboot oem config carrier vzw since you don't have a Verizon device.
Also, consider using mFastboot instead of fastboot for all commands.

Can u try RSD lite directly there no problem i was using rsd for my moto x.

You wont see them until after they have pushed officially.
And then, any Developer XT1053 or XT1060 images will get posted to Moto's web site -> https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/recovery-images

In case you don't wanna use RSD Lite/You own a Mac:
MANUAL FLASHING
Much easier AND don't have to deal with getting RSD Lite to work....
Note - this was done on VZW variant, and based on XML file of that particular firmware. Get these instructions from your firmware package XML file.
Note 2 - VERY IMPORTANT!!! - You MUST use mfastboot (Moto fastboot) for the system.img flash as its too large for standard Android fastboot to handle, your flash WILL fail if you use standard fastboot. Hence why it says "mfastboot" this is not a typo.
fastboot oem fb_mode_set
fastboot flash partition gpt.bin
fastboot flash motoboot motoboot.img
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
mfastboot flash system system.img

Note: this is all done using fastboot/mfastboot/adb manually on your command prompt/terminal.

Hi, can anyone tell me how to update the modem to the latest version?
I'm on pure edition 1095 unlocked, twrp, custom 511 rom. I've searched all over and cannot find a clear guide on how to do it.

Download the full firmware of the 5.1 Pure edition then extract the files
NON-HLOS.bin and FSH.mbn the go to fast boot and type:
mfastboot erase modemst1 mfastboot erase modemst2 mfastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
mfastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn mfastboot reboot
Done. You have the last modem of the 5.1 pure edition.

Now you've confused me because I found different code and steps on moto website and xda

Is the same just different order. The erase command don't erase the NON-HLOS.bin but the stats and configuration or the modem.
Flashing before of after the new modem over the old makes no difference unless you don't erase modemst1 and st2.
mfastboot is the "same" fast boot just a command special designed to Motorola devices.

I followed the instructions and got unknown baseband and blank imei. I restored the efs from backup and got the imei back, the baseband version is newer. I thought the efs restore would change it back to the original?

ok, maybe is because the 5.1.1 custom you are using is not compatible with the modem you are trying to flash. And it is "normal" if you lose signal and IMEI after, that happened to me when I flashed the 5.0 modem over a 4.4.4, the solution is simple, just flash back your original modem and your IMEI/baseband will be restored.

[GUIDE] Correctly flashing a different baseband

I've seen many here report this command to try/flash a different baseband:

I could be wrong but since of my experiences, this is not correct and could lead to various different issues, mainly with GPS fix...
Right command sequence to be used (and in fact, contained in official flash all(s)...) is:

Can't update my moto one power(p30 note), stuck on 8.1.0 oreo

Hello guy,
Ive bought Moto one power(p30 note) second hand,
Whenever i try to update it says "your device is up-to-date", I'm currently on Android 8.1.0.
before asking here I searched a lot and found incomplete solutions and tbh I don't want to brick the mobile.
that's why i decided to ask experienced people here and hopefully will be guided.
I want to update to android 10 if there is or any latest Official update.
Some info:
SKU: XT1942-2
Android: 8.1.0
Security patch level: September 1, 2018
Baseband v: M636_18.33.01.78R
If it needs more info kindly tell me.
I will be really thankful to you
