I would be very surprised if they did. To be honest though, why would you even want to continue? Lineage will likely have Q for it in a year, but the build quality just isn't that same anymore. They still haven't resolved a problem where Android Auto doesn't work for their builds on an X4. I gave up and ordered the Pixel 3a. I would encourage others to do the same.
Nevermind Q, I'm still waiting for P.
We need to wait up to July or August to know about Motorola device list. I am excited about one plus 3t, they started from marshmallow and now gets pie update too, that means 4 android versions even if the device isn't android one. We can hope for good things to come true.

That may have something to do with Google retiring Android Auto.

Not likely on Google's side, because the Android Auto app works fine on LOS 15.1 for many phones as well as for the X4 when on stock. Only on LOS 16 there is AFAIK no device where Android Auto works with the car unit.
Wait wait wait.... https://www.androidcentral.com/here-are-phones-we-know-will-get-android-q
.. Most probably it regard the variant 6 gb ram.... But however, if it is real, it is a greatest notice.

I have never needed, nor seen the real need for one. I have a lot of apps installed too. Never had a problem. My pics save to the google cloud, and I store my song library on google play music (the cloud).

TBH, now that I have the Moto X4 and seen Android Pie in action, I don't think an SD Card slot matters as much anymore. With Google Photos backing up everything (in a lower resolution) and backing up full quality photos to a PC, the need is much less. I only have it to download videos offline so that I can watch when there is no internet connection. Even then I have abundant storage space so I think it is overkill.

Also, I am rooted, so I use Titanium Backup AND TWRP backup which together take up more space than what’s left on the built in “ sdcard”

I don't have a tablet to connect it to, if that's what I need. I was trying to run it directly on my phone from my phone. I don't think I had any idea what I was doing with the app, but when I clicked 'self', it took me to aa with a message saying my device isn't compatible.
If you look around on the innernets you can probably find a file called media-browser-simulator.apk which is the AA "viewer". It runs on 5.0 and above.
Don't ask me for it, I don't have it.

It's on one of Google's developer sites and it's as awful as the first version released around November because it IS still the same version.
At Google IO they said they'd release a better one later this year.

Its cool how sometimes you can score those proto phones. My wife work for Motorola before the split and I got my hands on a Motorola Napoleon. It was like a Moto Q on steroids. Even had a fingerprint scanner. Didn't work too good though.
holyyyyy....is that the nexus 6 prototype with the finger print scanner?
Just flash the latest marshmallow in google page, i have also a engineering version and I've tested many roms from this forum.

I tried that but didn't work the phone is still stuck in fastboot mode! If anyone can help I have team viewer set up so you can remote connect and work from there which is a little easier tried with another dev and no luck.but he only tried with nexus 6 software only.I think it's a moto x pro dev . There is a power button on the back.if anyone else can help that would be great.
Looks like prototype with fingerprint scanner
Can You confirm it?
--Edit--
You'd probably need pre-production OS versions - not even public betas.
Ask Your friend if his company has any system builds.
Most likely it would be only some old, debug versions of Lollipop, but it's always worth to ask.
Yea no luck on getting the software so it's still stuck in fastboot mode.but like you said I'm sure I need a dev system img to get this thing going.and since I'm picking up another nexus 6 today this moto x pro de is up for grabs PM me if anyone in wants to take it off my hands.

At the moment I have a G5, but am selling it. Right when it's gone I'm getting a OnePlus 3T. How would I transfer my data from my G5 to my OP3T when they're not side by side? Is there any other way other than relying on Google backup (because it didn't show my phone backups from my phone before the G5)
try helium if you are not rooted
or titanium backup if you are

The 3T is obviously the winner in speed. For me the things I'd miss most when K switch will be QHD (if I notice a difference), dual cameras, and removable battery. But I want 6GB of ram and the fastest Android phone xD. I just hope I don't make the wrong decision.

Dual cameras?
Just switched from my good old Galaxy S5 to Op3T and I gotta say, while there is still some pros for the S5, the OP3T wins hands down. Coming from resurrection rom, I was able to transfer most of my settings via the setup process when it asks you if you want to get the settings from another phone. For whatever reason I was not able to make it work via NFC, so I had to use the nearby-devices method. This will pull in your google accounts backups as well as all apps installed via playstore. There is a couple of settings (eg. Nova Prime Launcher, k9 etc.) which I had to transfer by manually exporting on the old phone and importing on the new one and there is another couple of settings that didn't offer any form of automated migration. Mostly all the apps installed manually or via fdroid and the root tweaks. In my experience transfering data is never a 100% thing with whatever method you are using and this becomes more true the more you used to customize and tweak the old phone.

Everytime I restored Apps via Google only the app itself got installed but no data at all. And I have about 60 apps and all of them are relatively known. So I wouldn't rely on Google if your app data is important to you.

When you restore you apps I believe google through the first set up doesn't restore app data you have to manually go into each app and redo it. I usually do that. Google backs up contacts and you could use SMS backup restore to backup SMS and calls.

Google restore is app specific..means if the app has implemented backup and restore of its data, it works..but most of the apps did not implement that, so it will just restore the app and permissions...
Titanium backup is my go-to, but it requires root. Used Helium without root but it fails on some apps.

Not really, the complaint level of AW2 is so high, of laggy performance, we may be having a favor done for us as tuning is being done before we get. There was an update for earlier released watches this last day which is getting positive feedback. So that is making me think we'll get it very soon now, I think tomorrow.

Lol swing and a miss. The wear 2.0 developer preview got taken down though, so either its coming soonish or we're just getting f***** on this one. All the indications are there.why would we buy the watch sport if we can flash the 2.0 developer preview?

I downloaded and saved the most recent AW1.5 and AW2 DP. I tried AW2 DP and it was awful, so went back to AW1.5 which I saved in case when AW2 officially released it is still awful.
We're being done a favor getting AW2 late but now I see happy noises on the June release, I'm seeing less reason to wait. But if there is a reason its no bad thing. The only thing I can't do is Android Pay.
If anyone does have the time to try AW2 then by all means flash DP and realize its a totally different everything interface, as I've been on AW now >2 years I find it awkward interface, noobs would take less retraining.
Someone likely has the googleapis link, I just have the file locally backedup.
Android Wear 2.0 fow the W200* is finaly here (well via OTA in Korea... For us via adb sideload )
Here it is the file: http://android.googleapis.com/packa.../af88cfbc96ad65e7b728e27c2decbdc6fb0e08e8.zip
P.S. It works perfectly! Android pay too!!!
Anyone tried the Korean firmware ? I didn't think 2.0 was that bad at all. Few things to fix but added a lot.

I updated earlier today. Made my first successful Android Pay purchase this afternoon. I never tried the preview so I'm still learning all the tricks/quirks of 2.0.
Sweet . Very cool , are you a US model though ? And did you use an OTA update or use PC with unlocked bootloader to flash it ?

Yes I have the AT&T model, W200A. I used the minimal adb and fastboot tool to sideload the zip file from my PC. I didn't have to unlock the bootloader.
i updated my w200a today with the korea version. however it felt more like another preview than a final release. Lag is present like on the preview, overheats somewhat easily and the battery drains way faster when you are using it than when you are on 1.5. At least this is my case on the w200a. I did a fsctory reset to see if that solved but no. Same result.
I have the at&t urbane 2 LTE (unlocked)
Until today I was running developer preview (nemo-nvf41u-factory-e269c504)
I had an update come through which has given me:
build number NXH20E
(ANDROID WEAR 2.0.0.159006699)
with security patch 1st May 2017.
The top and bottom buttons are working (re programmed through the options)
Android pay works.
I am in the UK.

I'm in the US and I updated using ADB and the file captured from the ota in Korea and these numbers match exactly to mine.
Found any bugs/issues yet? I've had an occasional lag or two. Android Pay is working and I've successfully tracked runs with GPS using ghostracer paired to the phone through cell data (my main usage requirement).
Not found any bugs on mine.
I have a few side loaded apps that may have been causing the odd glitch now and again whilst on the developer preview, but nothing since the update.
(Side loaded es file explorer so I could use MP3 ringtone on the watch & Google drive to download / upload)
I'm in the US with ATT version. Just got OTA last night. So far so good.
So both my sister and I have the same model unlocked Pixel 5 and are using our phones on T-Mobile's network as well.
I've noticed that on my phone I get the Google Play system update (not to be confused with the main phone/security update) whenever I do a manual check for it and a new one's available (Settings, Security, Google Play system update, tap on "Check for update"). But when I do the same thing on her phone, it doesn't update it, even after I restart and ensure that the Google Play Store app is up-to-date as well.
Eventually her phone finally got the December 1 update a couple weeks ago after I tried again, but then now there's a January 1 update and once again mine let me download it right away, but her phone refuses to update that regardless of what I do (main update it does do just fine though).
I'm guessing it will update it soon enough, but why the delay? Can anyone explain why two IDENTICAL phones won't update this at the same time when manually prompted?

Hey Saturday Night,
Thanks for the link. However, even if it does work for her phone, I still would rather not use it b/c doing so doesn't solve the actual issue of why it's not updating it automatically, or at the very least, when I attempt to update it manually (by doing a recheck).
It seems to update eventually, but I just find it annoying that my phone will do it when I recheck, but not her's. Makes no sense since again we have the same model phone and are on the same carrier.

The only thing I can think of is that it's a staged rollout and a random one at that. I update my phone's apps more often than she does so I figured that might be it and then forgot about it. A month later it popped up. I believe the monthlies are way more critical and those come at the same time.

That's not really an update but more of a place holder. The real update is much larger and can't be installed with an apk. It will change the date to make it look up to date but that's it.
