Hi,
With AccuBattery, I've got only 2960 mAh instead of 3300 mAh.
Can you share your stats please ?
It was just matter of time when people start to freak out because of this crap app
I have a 98% battery health, 3220 mAh. This is stable for me.
2.880mah 88% battery health....
I don't care really I try to charge till 80% but sometimes I forget.
A heater, a bankcard and a new battery pack 10 Euro. And I will have fresh battery in half an hour. No problem..

Hi
I have a question about charging the phone when I first get it. I wanna maximise the battery life. But usally when I first get the phone, the battery has a bit of charge. I've been told to charge 8hours.
So do i drain the remaining battery and charge 8hours with the power on
or
Do I charge it straight away even though its not low battery for 8hours
Or do I just charge it till the battery is full?
Thanks
drain it completely, than put it on the charger for like 8-12 hours
drain max again
charge it long time again
drain max again
charge it and your done
this will give u the max result of your battery
Thank you very much. I shall try that, Should I Leave it on while charging?
Is it okay to play around with the phone while it is charging?

1; There is no need to do that with current technology batteries.
2; Once the battery reaches 100% it doesnt charge or do anything else.. so useless to leave it in for 8-12 hours.
I second TimMun.
The process of charging the battery for 8 hours is for old batteries...
and i believe even that was a myth.. apparently the concept was that the acid in the battery needs to be charged for a LONG time for maximum efficiency.
I think you are good to go once the new battery shows full charge..
Hmm wonder what was in my study about batterys, well do w/e u like, i know a bettery has a memory which only can be reset by a deadly shock which can be fatal

Can I charge my z from night till morning everyday? Will it swell up the battery or decrease its battery life?

Battery have protection, so You can leave it over night. In the morning You can find batter on 92-96%. That is no problem, it is some kind of overcharge protection. When it came to 100%, it stops charging and start discharging to avoid any battery or phone damage.
I read somewhere that it is good for the phone to be on charge often. Its the charge/discharge cycles that wear out the battery. The battery is only good for a certain amount of charge cycles. For example, if the battery goes down to say 60% then you charge it back to full, thats only 20% of 1 full charge cycle (40% of the discharging half of the cycle = 20%).
I always have my phone on charge overnight. I just updated from a 2 year old Xperia Arc and the battery on that still lasts as long as it did when it was new.
If you think about it, if its on charge and reaches full, it isnt really using the battery is it? Its running off mains.
charging overnight is not bad but letting your battery drain below 10-15% is bad. it is best to charge from 40-50%
For lithium batteries il better charge from 80% To 100 than 10% To 100... The battery is Less stressed... So.. For me over night it's ok, The battery has protection But charging from 10 To 100% no..

Mine is on charge around 80% of the day, yet maintains it's original battery life when it's running off its own juice.
I don't see a problem, the only issue I can think of is that using the phone heavily whilst on charge causes the battery to heat up and this can sometimes be felt through the phones casing.

I use a 350ma charger, it takes about 4.5 hours to charge over night, ( about 7.5 hours). I believe slow charging and not draining the battery too much is the best way.

hey everybody
hope that you are all okay
i just ordered an extended battery with the capacity of 5000 mAh
here is its link
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-5000mAh...axy-Note-GT-N7000-Cover-Charger-/330750349616
and that was 4 days ago.
the problem is, the battery drains so fast
for example, when the phone is idle, it may use up to 12% in about 7 hours
and if i'm surfing the internet using mobile data (3g)
it may not even remains 2 hours of continuous usage
it also doesn't stay much with display on> about 3.5 hours only
while my friend who ordered with me the same battery
its battery remains much longer than me
could it be the rom i'm using or something else?
i'm on [ROM] Sweet ROM V11 LTA 4.1.2 [October 25th]
Use battery stats plus, free from gplay, to check what drain it and estimated time. Even the ori 2500 battery does better than that.

I'd suggest that you return to stock ROM and make tests to see whether the problem is in the ROM or the battery itself.
After one year use I am now at 3,601 mAh
What's everyone else at?
Although I use Accubattery app
I don't think its estimate of battery health or capacity is particularly accurate.
The app states that it estimates capacity.
It estimates mine as approximately 3600 mAh
Bought Aug 2018
Manufactured 21 Aug 2018
never trust the battery apps for how much % i have on my battery , apple have that but thats way out my x says 93% but still gives me the same screen on time as when i bought it , by unplugging the battery and plugging it back in the iphone now says 100% , with my note 9 i still get over 8 hours screen on time , all these apps on batteries do is count the full battery cycles and deducts the % over time , the best way to check any battery is by your screen on time , if its good then theres nothing to worry about
What did it show from the start? When I first got my phone, it calculated that my capacity was around 3400 mah. I actually managed to change the battery on the warranty and now it says estimated 3800 mah. An improvement, but not really what I was expecting...

Hi, at the beginning my battery drained 11-% / hour when playing at real racing 3, now it drains 19 % / hour in the same conditions. I have reinstalled my phone (stock phone) and nothing changed..[emoji19]
I checked with accu battery : my battery is only 2536 mah (vs 3300 mah) and 78 % max capacity now..[emoji19]
Can somebody checked too with accu battery the health of your mi9 after some months of use ? Thank you.

Don't keep it on the charger when it's full next time
Yes I will try your tips but I haven't so much hope[emoji21]. It seems that the mi9 batteries deteriorate in some few months....
Please install accu battery on the play store and you will see the health of your battery and tell me the result...
Several people I know have lost 20 % and more capacity of battery in less than a year.
Normally we shouldn't lose more than 8 to 10 percent by year of intense use.
(When I had HTC and Samsung that was at this level ...)

Mine is 74% and I have terrible screen on time results. Phone is great but battery...
It's worth it. The cheapest snapdragon 855 device in the world.
Me my screen got burn in and phone got black screen after brick they fixed for free by warranty and was unlocked and changed the battery even it was only 6 months and I installed back extended ui rom i love the phone
It is a pity the battery to be so hard to replace... life would be easier with replaceable batteries, no need to worry about how to charge the phone

There are many things that can damage battery longevity.
- Fast charging. Biggest offender. I never fast charge my phones. I mean I did my Note 4 and had to swap batteries every year (thankfully that was an easy task back then.)
- Topping up to 100%. Though I really don't follow this one and I didn't see any big degradation, so not sure how big of an effect this one has.
- Battery heat.
