i want to update my device with this stock rom available [stock rom][2.3.6][MULTI-LANG] P1000XWJQ8_P1000PHNJQ1_P1000XXJPZ ...in the android development forum..
my device is
PDA : P1000DDJM8
PHONE : P1000DDJM2
CSC : P1000DDJM1
m running stock froyo 2.2 ..my question is that can i update my phone with this above mentioned rom ..as in india only 2.3 is available via kies ..
and is the procedure same as mentioned in the forums via odin ..or do i need another method for update ..plz confirm ..

i tried to upgrade From GB to JB via ODIN
JB I8160XXMC8 from samsung-updates.com
doesn't contain pit file
the phone bricked it restarts before bootscreen animation
any help plz ?

for installing the new jelly firmware for i8160 please follow next step:
1. flash first firmware jelly bean I8160_OXAMB2, like in this link:

2. then flash the last firmware jelly bean I8160XXMC8

problem solved after flashing MB4 or MB2 then Going to MC8

baseband unknow
flashing stopped on "nand write" while flash mb2 or mb4.
if flashing mc8 directly from gb stock rom region hongkong success..
but baseband unknow.
Try flash back to gb stock different region still baseband unknow..
Now i flash gb stock region hk, and back normal again..
How should i do?thank u.

hello there i want to upgrade my shw-m250s (korean) s2 ICS firmware to jellybean 4.1.2 firmware but i dont know which file here is stock rom and jellybean official?can anyone know what firmware is this 3 files belongs?do i need to download this all to flash using odin?

I am trying to downgrade my SGN since mine is N7000B instead of N7000 so I can flash kernel / custom rom.
