I was wondering after the new update of Google Play, how could the users outside the US be benefited from the new Play Store. Well after some search and research I found the way !! There is an app called Market Unlocker Pro in the Store (Its a paid app) which can do the job !! (Only the Paid version will work, the free version wont help). After installing the app, launch it, then enable the option "Enable Unlocker" and then in the Proxy tab, tap on Fetch USA Proxy, then after the data is fetched, enable the option "Enable Proxy". Close the app, clear the play store cache and then launch it. Voila !! Thats it !!
thanks to nishant_713 from galaxy 3 thread

Hi all,
Sadly adaway has been removed from Google play today. I understand why Google done that but I think there will be more apps that start getting axed and there will gradually be less and less customisation to be done to android (my opinion).
What do you all think?

damn that sucks.. anyway here's a copy if anyone ever needs it.
Dev is already posting it im other places. All good.
From https://code.google.com/p/ad-away/
AdAway was removed from Google Play
I received an email from Google Play that AdAway was removed due to "Violation of section 4.4 of the Developer Distribution Agreement." Thus, it will never be available on Google Play again. Please switch to F-Droid, the open alternative to Google Play!
Allow app installs from 'unknown sources'
Download https://f-droid.org/FDroid.apk to your device
Install this apk
Open F-Droid and search for AdAway
This has nothing to do with the Nexus 4.

Hi. I have a paid theme for launchers in the Play Store. Customers more often asking to add new colors. Unfortunately change the theme colors programmatically by user request is impossible - almost all graphics need to be changed. In other words make the same themes, but in other colors. I do not want to sell the same thing, just in other colors - it would not be fair. Also I do not want to make them free, because it still the same themes just in other colors. So here's the question. Is it safe for developer account to add the direct links for apk downloading in main activity? Or maybe it will be apk inside apk... Of course, the user will see what he download and install, and all of this will be with user confirmation and without any malware. So it's safe to add direct download links or apk inside apk?
I would be infinitely grateful for your answers!
P.S. Sorry for my english.
You can turn your paid application into theme manager which would download your themes
So... I've searched for a similar thread, but I didn't found any so I decided to make a new one.
As I don't want to use any google services on my telephone I had to purge Play Store also. I've searched for alternatives. I came across Fdroid - actually the store I've searched for. The only problem I've faced is there are no proprietary apps. I try to reject using of proprietary software as much as possible, but many of my friends use proprietary chat apps like WhatsApp, Viber etc.
So I've searched a solution to get this proprietary apps without much tricks...just keep it simple. I came across Aptoid - another android store, but I didn't liked the idea behind very well - you can find lots cracked apps etc. and that is not what I am looking for. Second point is - all apps are outdated - so you are missing the new version of the apps and their security and performance fixes. It didn't suited my needs so I decided to purge Aptoide.
So... after a bit of research I founded another two solutions:
APKmirror - it is a website - there is no app for it. So If you want to use it you have to go to the website and download and install .apk manually (you also need to enable Untrusted Sources in your security settings). The website has very nice interface and it looks exactly as a normal appstore. I've bookmarked it and placed it on my homescreen - so it is usable - no pain in the *** at all. The packages seems to be "trusted" as the packet signature is checked with the one of the original developer. All apps are updated - you can even download beta versions (before they hit PlayStore) and if it goes wrong... you can easily downgrade to previous verions - very nice feature. This site is related to Android Police - as it is a good source in my opinion, I think the packages there are trust-able. Is there anyone who has additional info about APKmirror?
APKpure - the second solution I came across. I wasn't able to find any additional information about this source or any review so I really have no idea who is standing behind this project. Anyway... I downloaded several apps and I checked the app signature and it seems fine - every app I checked matched the original signature of the developer. There are also "Trusted" marks same as APKmirror. All of the apps are updated. It looks pretty much like APKmirror - there is no app, just website. You can easily update your applications too so it suit all my needs. Anyway... I would like to get some additional information about it... it seems to me like mirror of PlayStore but... anyone who knows more maybe?
Apkpure has a app that you can download. Just have to watch certain apps such as play games will update to the 038 version when I am completely updated to the 030 version in the play store. Apkmirror describes this on their website when you download certain apps. Just though you should know about the app.
One thing I miss Fromm the Google play store is Google games for backup of games data and achievements. When cyanogen finishes partnership with the social gaming network, play games or whatever it's called, I'll hopefully be able to get away from the Google play store. Course devs would have to enable those servers for achievements etc, which is a long shot. Till then helium is my best friend I guess.

This seems to be a constant problem. I have fought it on and off over 2 different phones. Very frustrating.
I found one thread where someone said disabling the themes on Google and Play Store fixed the problem for them. My themes are not set. They are set to default. I don't see a way to 'disable' them.
Does anyone know of a fix?

Are you signed into Google Chrome ? Sign out and Disable Google Chrome, then try! if not try this (see below) i copied and pasted of the Google Support forum!
1) clear cache on Google Play SERVICES
2) clear cache and storage on Google Play STORE
3) force stop the play store
4) re-launch the play store, update the stuck app (Chrome for me) and it should complete.
It seems to have cleared up for the moment. I have had it last and last.
I'm going to keep track of this thread, and when it happens again, I'll give that a try.
Thanks for the response...
