hi all!
I have this charger.
It says output: 5 V , 500 mA.
Can I use it with my Niki100 without risk??
One more question:
This charger has 2 inputs.
Can I use them in the same time, charging my Niki100 AND my GPS device??
Will this be safe for my devices??
Thanks in advance!
Dimitris
I do not know of that one I got an Igo from radio shack answer it works good for all my needs. has replacement tips for different devices 20 dollars us for main and 6 dollars us for new tips
Well I just picked up a galaxy 8.9" 4g. It feels like half the weight of my wife's lte ipad. Plus it cost less than half what her ipad cost. -paid $525 for hers (used) and $220 for mine (used)
I realize the charging issue has been discussed - but here's my question: (yes I searched) If I were to connect the tablet to 2 usb ports on my laptop would it be able to charge? I have an external dvd writer that uses something like that.
here's an example of the cable I'm talking about... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JIOHDE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER
Another random question - is CM10 noticeably smoother than Dannorom 2?
charge
To solve the charge issue get a cable off ebay that you can switch between data and charge. The cable is very cheap like 5 bucks or so.
I used this adapter and it works perfect

Ordered one. Thanks!
I really want to get this phone it looks so cool. but the one thing that is stopping me is the limited 32 gigabyte storage option. That is not enough for me because I like to use poweramp with all my music local. I don't like cloud for music.
On my current phone I have a SD micro card that Is 64 gigabytes.
Any ideas on what I could do?
I have seen those Bluetooth storage devices for Android but I think that it would break power amp when its not connected. Plus it would suck when I'm biking.

I've used the Meenova (mine stopped working at some point) with my X, but I currently use the Leaf Access. The Leaf Access does work with 64 GB microSD cards.

Even a $3 Frys dongle works for 64 GB but only Fat if unrooted.

I prefer a dongle because the angle plug is low profile & less likely to damage the port.
Interesting....
Just to confirm... I wouldn't be able to charge the phone while using the dongle, correct? For listening to music at work while at my desk I keep the phone plugged into the charger.
I guess this wouldn't feel to good while riding a bike in the pocket.

I have a Maxx so wireless charging is nice.
The dongle is fine in pocket.
I ordered this phone for my sister who dropped her alcatel idol 3 in water... It should come in next week. Has anyone tried this usb type c to micro usb adapter? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...rue&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=AG8AYSVS7E5IO After reading about the usb type c cable that fried a $1500 laptop I'm worried that something might happen. I at least hope that BLU shipped it with a decent usb type c cable.

I bought these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B018MQE2HA/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Supposedly meet spec. Haven't had chance to use them yet, my phone arrives tomorrow.
I purchased the techmate usb-c cables when they were on sale a couple days ago.. Were like $6 a piece.
I ordered this one http://www.amazon.com/Cambond-Braid...hromeBook/dp/B0119QMKC4/?tag=androidpolice-20
with coupon code from android police http://www.androidpolice.com/2016/0...om-6-99-to-8-99-on-amazon-after-coupon-codes/ not sure if the coupons still work.
it's been reviewed by Benson Leung at 5*
I got this 1M/3.3ft one for $6 (which is the everyday price, no code necessary): http://www.amazon.com/Upgraded-TeckNet®-Charging-Chromebook-Supported/dp/B014DPXLEY/
Definitely look for reviews by Benson Leung and buy only those cables he scores highly if you don't want to risk it. The one I linked to also got 5/5 stars. I'm sure there are other cables he has never and will never review that are just fine, but he's reviewed so many USB-C cables and adapters that I can't think of a good reason not to find one that suits your needs: http://www.amazon.com/gp/pdp/profile/A25GROL6KJV3QG/
Great topic!
Type-C new to me and all my co-workers. We all just bought and LOVE the BLU Vivo XL, and were surprised about the Type-C...
Checked Benson's reviews. The 1st two cables on his site look good. Great prices! $12 and $11 US. Like most great deals on Amazon.com, they will not ship to Canada. Same 2 cables on Amazon.ca cost over $80 Canadian each! NO THANKS!!!
Can anyone recommend a trustworthy Type-C-to-Type-A cable (nicely priced) from Amazon.ca?
Thanks
Got my OP3 just a few days ago, and while I'm very happy with the device, since it doesn't have a SD slot I can't plug in my old SD card for music.
Since it has OTG support, I wanted to look for a small USB stick I could just leave connected during daily use, but I only found USB-A sticks (like the one at the link below)
amazon.de/Lexar-JumpDrive-128GB-Flash-Drive/dp/B012PKVV00/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1472768444&sr=8-3&keywords=lexar+usb+c (Sorry for the plain text)
Does anyone have/know of a USB-C stick at that size?
That would be pretty awesome if there was something like that out there!
Something like this ?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kingston-D...id=1472828701&sr=1-2&keywords=usb+c+pen+drive
Amazon.co.uk has also Sandisk Ultra 128gb http://amzn.to/2bOJhcS
I've got a lexar I picked up from Walmart. It's c on one end and a on the other. And it slides in and out of the stick. 32 gigs for 17 us dollars
