I set de grip patern to 4x4 thinking it was more secure but when I use some custom ROM they only show 3x3 grid at startup making it impossible to start the ROM.
I tried to flash back to factory even on factory it still asked me the 3x3 pattern.
I realise I have to decrypt the phone and it's fine by me but how to do that?
Or how to change the grid pattern from 4x4 to 3x3 in twrp? I don't see any options to do that.
thanks in advance
Never mind I found the solution, just needed to FORMAT instead of wiping.

Hey guys,
I'm on CM7 and have WidgetLocker. I'm wondering if I am able to still use a sort of phone/screen lock (Pin, PW, Pattern) without having the default Android lock screen first.
What I mean is straight from WidgetLocker --> Enter Password --> Homescreen.
I played around with the settings and the closest I came was I ended up having to go through 2 lockscreens (both the WidgetLocker and the default one) and the code, which is a bit redundant.
Side question: How do I change the statusbar icons? (Signal, Wi-Fi, Battery icons) Do they come along with released themes? Or can I mod them manually?
Thanks, appreciate it.
I believe that you can do this by using the pattern lock screen but the others won't work basically after you unlock it should pull up the pattern lock screen.
Oh and the easiest way to get themes is to search the forums here and the market for CM7 Themes and then just download and use the Theme Chooser App.
CM7.1 includes a setting to disable the system slider before security.
CM Settings > Lockscreen > Disable lockscreen on security
CM7 doesn't, but you can use WL's Root Helper's Autoswipe instead.
Thanks for the help guys, I got it to work using the Root Helper.
One last question: Is there a way to have these WidgetLockers as the screen to answer calls instead of the default Android one? Thanks!
Thanks for your help!
Hi,
I was just wondering if it is possible , using any method/mod other than custom rom or a third party lockscreen app, to achieve a 4x4 grid or or dots for the lockscreen pattern. I have it on my custom rommed s3 but Sense is too beautiful and smooth, the reason I don't want to custom Rom my One. So anyone know if it is possible to get a 4x4 (or more) lockscreen pattern? Thanks in advance!

Probably Venom's ViperOne Rom can have such a modification.
But also there is an app:
Pattern Lock Pro
Features:
- Displays your name, phone number and email address on the lock screen so that your phone can be returned to you.
- Option to increase security with a 4x4 pattern lock.
I was thinking more of a file system edit, I don't want an app as it doesn't really do the job I want it to do.

Have you figured this out yet? I am looking to do the same.

Hey all,
I recently flashed ARHD 31.0 to my HTC One, and for some reason, I can't select a 3x3 app grid for use in my App Drawer. My only selections are 3x4 and 4x5. I'm not sure if I'm going insane and have always used a 3x4 app grid, or if I used a 3x3 app grid before I reflashed. My question is, is 3x4 the default and I'm literally going insane, or is 3x3 the default that I used to use and for whatever reason I can't use it? If it's the second, how can I re-enable the 3x3 grid option?
Thanks!

4x3 is the default, but because of the time and weather when the app drawer is first opened, the grid is 3x3 on the first page.
I'm on a Samsung Note 5 and I've been trying to make my widgets more readable by having them on a 4x4 grid sized screen, but I really like the room that I get for my app icons on the 5x5 screens. Is there any way that I can have both going on at the same time?
I'm rooted and on BreakDown's DPD1 v2.1 rom. I've got Xposed and have tried many different apps from the Play Store, Xposed, etc. I've also tried apps that change the DPI setting of my apps, and they do help with my widgets, but they ruin the app when I open them. For example, I can't reach the "Delete" button in Evernote because the DPI settings have made it sink under the screen. It makes the widget just the right size though. No 3rd party launcher seems to be able to do what I want either. I thought Zen UI could, but the grid size option is only for the app drawer and not the homescreen.
Ideally, I'd like for there to be a button or setting that let's me change the grid size on a per screen basis, instead of the universal setting that there is now. Can anyone help me out?
I want to use my live wallpaper on both desktop and lock screen but the only way to make it work is using the classic/default lockscreen of MIUI 11. When I try to use different themes, its not possible to use my live wallpapers with them, only static ones at best. And the icons on the lock screen are pretty ugly tbh. My question is if there is a way to hide them (including the swipe up to unlock), maybe through changing the registry with an editor or something, or if there is a way to use a default version of the lock screen that doesn't show these things?
Hi, how did you get the second icon on the left??
