I can't seem to find the option in the settings anywhere, and I'm getting real sick of the rainbow colours coming up while I'm charging my phone.
Rainbow while charging
When I used an old charger (different charger) I noticed this error.

For some reason after sending/recieving quite a few texts, when i go to my today screen, the color has changed from green to blue, or the screen has lines across it. What would cause/fix this problem?
Also i can no longer charge my phone on the charger, rather charge batteries in a batt charger, what would cause this, i can still connect to a computer tho, with absolutely no issues, except not charging.
did you check in registry options for the usb charging???
moreover, if you are facing issues in charging check the option Start > Settings > Power > Advanced and uncheck (if checked) the option When device is turned on, do not charge....
well the problem isnt that, as ive came to learn, its a very common problem among these phones, to not charge the battery using the usb charger, which is why i have a battery charger (opposed to phone charger), and 3 batteries.
and how do i go about checking registry options?
I have similar problems... did you know how to fix it?

i tried changing the rom, charging the phone turned off... but nothin happens...
Surprisingly very little out there on this issue. Worked fine for the one day I had my phone, got home tonight and now it won't charge and the blue light is flashing. I threw out the packaging to see if there's something in the paperwork, but not many answers online.
Maybe a setting I changed on the phone during the day? It charges as long as the screen is unlocked, but once it goes into AOD mode, the charging stops and blue blinking starts. Tried reseating it, unplugging/replugging, etc.
I'm within the return time frame with Best Buy so I may just exchange it tomorrow to see if it was the charging pad. But maybe someone will have an answer or ideas overnight. Verizon S7 edge.
I have a P20 Pro (CLT-L29) EMUI 8.1.0. I've had it for a couple of weeks.
I have noticed three types of charge icons in the status bar (the battery icon on top right):
- simple lightning bolt (accompanied by a "charging" message on the lock screen)
- two lightning bolts : a simple one below and a smaller one offset above (accompanied by a "fast charging" message on the lock screen)
- a longer lightning bolt with more bends in it (accompanied by a "supercharging" message on the lock screen)
I did a search on the forums here and found this thread where the two-bolt symbol apparently is indicating supercharging. I am a little confused. Perhaps this was in a previous EMUI?
Is there a comprehensive list of notification icons for Huawei phones? The manual isn't a lot of help, and the ones i have found online do not describe the various charge icons.
Here is something I found on hicare. It helped me in some things so the image is in polish language, but it says that one small bolt is standard charge, two are fast charge and one big is fastest, supercharge
/For some reason I can't upload image but I said everything
If you're using your original charger then it should be super charging , if you use another then you'll get something else like quick charging.
So I have this weird issue where the the screen becomes partially unresponsive while wireless charging, like I'll have to tap an icon 3 or 4 time before it registers along with scrolling being really unpredictable. I have a case for it and it's this one. If I take the case off then the issue goes away. I am using the official pixel stand and also some wireless charging car mount I got on amazon. I found this out because I was using the car mount to charge my P5 wirelessly and was trying to use navigation but the screen was really unresponsive, after I noticed it I tried it on my pixel stand and it does the same thing. There was one other guy on the google forums who posted about this issue but no one has presented a solution yet. I just don't understand what wireless charging has to do with the screen being unresponsive and only when I use my case. On top of that the case I have is not very thick at all. My best guess is that the case I have has a thickness that is at the threshold of thickness for wireless charging to work properly so the phone constantly switches from "charging" to "not charging" over and over again and that is somehow lagging the entire phone making it seem like the screen is unresponsive. If anyone else has this issue or if others could test this out with their own P5 (with whatever case and wireless charger you have obviously) and report back that would be great.
Plugged the phone in to charge, fast charging indicator came on. After about 15 minutes, the phone shut off and never came back. The phone did feel much warmer than usual. No charging indicator, no sounds/vibration https://omegle.onl/ vshare. Ive tried multiple chargers, let it "charge" overnight. Nothing.
Just a dead blank screen. I saw someone siggested a wireless charging pad or trying a usbC to Hdmi adapter but ihavent had a chance to.
Any suggestions? Im going to end up throwing it up on ebay if i cant get it going.
Possible battery failure. Any swelling is a failure.
Get it looked at before you give it up. Not acceptable performance for a flagship unless it was abused.
Lots of problems with the variable refresh rate displays and the latter Samsung flagships. I'm still running N10+'s. This one has over 8k hours on it, the only the battery has been replaced and it's due for another. Always cased, it looks, feels and runs like new... that's the way it should be.
