HTC Camera working on HP ?

Hi all,
I recently got the new HP iPAQ 614c. The 'c' stands for 'camera'. Although it should stand for 'crappy'.
My question : on the phone, the camera app says 'ArcSoft version 2.0.0.9'. Now i would like to know if the HTC camera soft (5.0.4.2915) will run on the iPAQ. Is it also provided by ArcSoft ? Will it give problems regarding the non-presence of a second camera ?

Solved.... The core application from the HTC Camera 5.* IS the same ArcSoft 2.0.0.9 as is used on the HP. No extra's like GPS photo though .

Getting started with application development for the Touch Pro

I have visual studio 2008 professional, and one of the project types is for smart phones. I created a simple app, loaded it up, and it worked (just a hello world app.)
The problem is, the touch pro is VGA, and in VS2008 they give you only a certain area to work with. I can stretch everything out to 480x640, but is this correct? Is there a way to show a touch pro in my work space instead of the generic smartphone they have?
If there is a sticky somewhere that I missed or another thread talking about getting started, please forgive me and let me know, thanks for your time.

VGA Emulators

I have the ability to dual boot into Android or WP7 on my HD2....
might as well remove the option as I always use wp7

Synaptics digitizer is defaultly actived in minicm10... you can reinstall rom if it doesn't work.
If you mean you have cypress digitizer & wanna use it, I got to tell you it's not supported by kernel (nAa said he will add cypress in next version)

[Q] Ubuntu Touch or Android 4.0/4.1/4.2?

I would like to know if Ubuntu Touch or Android 4.0/4.1/4.2 is theoretically possible on this phone? I don't mind the speed, just the possibility. I'm planning to try to build it on my phone and hopefully speed up the rom from there. Any info on this?

It's not possible. Ubuntu Touch needs a capacitive screen and Android 4.0+ needs higher specs. Just forget about it.
