I fix it, with a new android instalation. Now its fix it
How did you fix it? What moldel do you have? and what new android version?

they say that ketuts blackhawk kernel is pretty good ( but not the best as best kernels dont exist)
and what do u mean by ics for ace ??? i guess we already have cm9 beta 8
the camera issue may take a while though
agree with the prev post.cm9 is great,we just have to wait for the bug fix
Concerning the kernel, one that seems really promising is "The Ace Kernel beta 3.1" : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1606352
It has a lot of features, seems quite stable, even if still in beta.
Notice that it is not for stock roms : only for CM7 roms.
For ICS, there won't be an official release for the ACE. But some dev are working on compiling CM9 (based on ICS sources) for the ace. Look here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1490867
The main issue with this port, at the moment is that the camera is not working. In fact that's an issue a lot of CM9 roms are facing at the moment. So, it may take some time to be fixed, but the work done on this rom is simply amazing. It's worth a try.

Touchscreen problem.
Hi guys,
i am new on XDA, this is my first comment. I have a problem with the all of Roms, which i wanna to setup.
For example: i wanted to setup this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583871.
I go to CWM5 and then dalvik cache, format etc. and then choose zip from sd card and setup this rom. And then everything is all right BUT the TOUCHSCREEN is wrong, i push the screen and it goes crazy, i cant text writing and etc. I readed that the problem can be with the bad kernel or what... i am newbie i dont know what is kernel or which would i setuped?
So somebody know what is my problem what make I bad when i setup a rom then HELP ME plz!

flash "zimage mod" kernel by anonymous , just google it as i m feeling a bit lazy and m in no mood to post links .......this kernel will fix ur problem for sure
cuz i faced ur problem too and this kernel saved the day

In my opinion something went went wrong when you flashed. Simply try again to wipe everything then flash again. I use this rom and flashed it on top of 2 other roms, and no problem for me.
I had issues after flashing some other roms, and I think they were caused by some other roms data not wiped before flashing

YES! You dont know what happy i am This works! How long have i this problem (i dont care with this because i am a hobby android user and i am glad with the stock roms) and now all right

i install jelly bean custom rom on my galaxy ace which is fast but it's battery sucks so this kernel is working for me?

No ICS / JB rom either cm9 based or cm10 based offers a good battery life. If you want battery longetivity, the name is stock roms.

the camera's autofocus doesn't work in taking pictures nor in capturing videos, any idea how to solve it? perhaps a firmware camera update or something?
Try resetting the Camera app's settings... Perhaps you disabled it....
A factory reset can also fix your problem.. If you have the time to do it

Make sure the lens glass is clean too.
i noticed it too.. it is not focusing automatically..
it focus when you hit the square or when hitting the camera shot icon..
from one object to another, it will not autofocus,,
unlike other camera from other phones.. it adjust when you switch to a next object..

I did reset the camera settings, Nothing changed,
Did a factory reset this morning too, Nothing changed either,
the phone is not rooted and using the latest firmware XXLK2 for Gingerbread 2.3.6
btw are you experiencing this?

yes sadly that's it, and i even wished if the video did auto-focus too, and has no option of doing so

Um, no I'm not experiencing any of this.. Could be because of many reason...
1. Mine was the Poland firmware, where this issue wasn't there..
2. When I bought this phone, JetMod was out - so I started using it, so I used the stock firmware for a few days only..
3. I'm using Jellybean now - and so far there are no issues with the camera app too..
If possible try a third party app like Camera ICS or any other app . if that too doesn't work then it might be a hardware problem.. Who knows?
Or if you are not concerned about your warranty - then upgrade to JB.. See whether the problem gets solved or not....

hmm, mine is Romania firmware, i somehow believe if changing the stock firmware or jellybean might solve it, but where can i upgrade it to jellybean? i am a complete noob and i am kinda afraid to brick it

Nope.
For our country has not released any updates to Jelly Bean, so service center will not update your phone until the Samsung is not release an update for Romania.

Flash any recent JB firmware (don't flash the Chinese one)..... And see whether things change or not...

then after that i started changing roms
once i changed it
i found it became very fade and bad that my old phone galaxy fit was better
i tried other apps and other roms
used offical jb/ almost all custom jb / 10.2/10.3/11

ROM can't hurt your camera, only if it is bad on your present ROM. But if you go to stock it should be normal. Maybe it is some hardware problem.

Try swapping or downloading a new camera application, did not understand his right pargunta more, try the wips again to see if the problem persists, if this is not the answer you want please let me know

I need help.
A few weeks ago I flashed stock rom from here.
Rom looks nice but I notice problems with video and music. Player can not play the music smoothly, quite often jams.
After flashing my videos on my sd card also had jams.
So I decide to go back to CM11. But I still have this problem.
Can anybody tell me what is the problem? Maybe any solution.
And sorry for my English, I hope you understood what I mean.

try to flash the latest stock rom see the problem solved .. if yes you can chage back to CM

I flashed this stock rom and now music player works smoothly. Thank you so much.
Everything works great with stock 4.3, but when I flashed cm11 problem appears again.. :/

it`s a CM11 bug .... i think you can solve the problem by flashing a mod called extra volume boost .. it will improve sound but carefuly , you may damage your speakers.

it isnat a bug of the rom that you use,the problem is from ur camera and it cant be fixed until u change the lens of the camera, see HTC ONE General topics ,

i tested it was not the camera hardware.its software .if you can send me 4.2.2 rom sense zip i will be thankful.
cuz i already tested for other phone.camera worked.by RUU but now i have problem can't flash that one with RUU.
