should I extract them and then rezip them? is there a way to flash this update anyway on TWRP?

i have updated to DDJp6 via kies, now what i need to know is if i want to reflash the same firmware with odin..
there is one tar file named JP6_JP5_U_JP2, should i put the file in just pda or PDA,PHONE AND CSc all at a time together and then flash?
Use 813.pit and use the file in PDA only with Repartition unticked.
ok ill be rooting soon. what i also need to know is, if i root using clockworkmod, can i flash back to this firmware with odin?
I've flashed onto my galaxy s 2.3.5 JVS firmware and im trying to flash onto that the official t-mobile firmware. i downloaded it off sam mobile website and the only file it gave was the pda. I flashed it onto my phone but it kept boot looping. im now going to try flashing it through mobile odin as the computer version caused the boot loop.
the file is JV9_JV7_JVO.tar
Does this flash need a pit file or just the pda?
thanks
You only need a .pit file if you have 3 files in your firmware pack and have repartition ticked in Odin.
Hi all! Need help: i update firmware for my SG Note from stock GB 2.3.6 to stock 4.0.3 Indian , now i cant write any symbols cuz then i try phone show me "null" . USSD *#1234# - CSC Unknown. How i can fix it? Cant find anywhere CSC SER region.
Thx for help!
sry for english )
How did you update? PC Odin? If so then the CSC would be inside that zip, it's the cache.img, flash it with PC Odin and it should solve your null issue
rename the tar.md5 to tar then open in winrar or 7 zip etc and get the cache image
ie N7000DDLP8_N7000ODDLP5_N7000DDLP4_HOME.tar

Try with Mobile Odin, I believe it supports .img file since it has a cache field..
Copy the cache.img file to your sd card, open Mobile Odin and tap on cache and then navigate to where you copied the cache.img file. It should read it without issues
EDIT: Do you have root? Obviously you need root to use Mobile Odin but seeing you flashed a stock ROM I doubt you have root..
Try to find any ROM for your country that is not one file, there should be one that contains multiple .tar files, you'll find CSC.tar there. Sorry not helping very much here
Hi
I am having a little bit of trouble going back to stock. I currently run the latest cm10 nightly, which repartitions your phone, right? So i want to go back to stock, but am confused. I have a 803 pit file which i believe i need to flash. Now the firmware package i have (from sammobile.com, correct one for my region) is all one tar file. Does not contain files that odin can flash, so in which one (pda, boot, modem etc.) do i need to put that file? It contains a load of .bin and .rfs files. Also, reading this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=7152078#post7152078 it tells me not to flash the pit with the one package file i have, so what is the exact procedure?
Thanks in adavnce!
The package you have is the PDA if is only one don't insert a pit and don't tick repartition, only put the file In the pda

If you have one file .tar choose it on bootloader and select auto reboot and f.reset time.:good:
Hello, where am I able to find stock firmware that comes in a 4-pack flash using odin? Not one that you flash using one .tar file?
Sammobile for example uses 1 single .tar file for flashing using Odin, but I need the one where you can flash AP, CSC etc separately.
Thanks!
