How bad is the green tint on the 81hz mod? - Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Questions & Answe

Just want to see how bad the tint is? Thanks

Still now using 81 Hz on miui stock ROM. But see any green tint or issue

Somewhat bad! But no other issues.
There was no green tint effect before when I flashed it first time. Today I tried 75Hz n noticed the green tint so again flashed 81Hz and this time it was looking ugly. So back to 60Hz

[Q] Onecosmics ics colors

i have Onecosmic ics rc1 and everything works fine,but i notice that the colors aren't as bright as they should be.. is a little yellowish even when brightness at 100%.. is there a fix for that or that's the way it should be ??
Did you flashed Fugu kernel with VoodooColor or without?
I suggest you to try both, to see difference.
i flashed all of them and i dont see any difference.. ive flash the one with voodoo color and sound and the one with color only, but still the same.. i dont even get the voodoo app..
ICS with bluish low colour
Hi,
I Have the same issue, mine shows bluish low colour. i flashed both kernels with same results more so...
Model = i9000
Android Version = 4.0.3
BB = I9000UGKG3
Kernel = 3.0.8-FuguMod
any suggestions please? :|
Okay here is a little update. (Its not a complaint as i know it'll be resolved hopefully)
I flashed the Voodoo Color Kernel and there was a significant difference.
The "Yellowish" tint was gone.
But while at 0% Brightness, the screen is Darker than usual ... Its just as Dark as it is on a SpeedMod Kernel ... which is, lets just say ... NOT GOOD FOR EYES AND BATTERY.
The screen looks satisfactorily better above 0% Brightness. I have noticed that if you keep the Brightness Level in/around 10% ... you will feel the difference.
EDIT: My Apologies
Yellowish Tint is STILL THERE
It took me a while to notice it.
But this time (i mean after flashing the Voodoo Color Kernel), the Yellowish Tint was quite less than before.
However, while using the "Flash Light Utility" ... it displays a 100% WHITE, which makes me assume this Yellowish Tint has something to do with "Theming" as the Phone Itself (after flashing OneCosmic's ICS) is display the colors just fine.
well i think ill have to wait for the next onecosmic's release or kernel fix or something like that..
I haven't used Voodoo a lot, but you should download Voodoo app from market and try to figure colors with that.
I am using voodoo app but not able to see the colors option in that...
I have checked and the kernel I downloaded was the one with voodoo sound and voodoo colors..
Am I missing something?

Grey uniformity issue

So my p20 pro has a grey uniformity issue. You can check too with the display tester app. Switch to dark grey colour in the app. Bring down brightness to 1% and check in dark room. I have attached an image. I ll be getting a replcement, hope the replacement doesnt have the issue.
Here it is
My screen is exactly the same. Did you get your screen fixed?

I got my mobile replaced. This time its better. Though not completely uniform (there's a bit dark and light grey mixture) but certainly not like my previous unit
And also check the black crush issue on 0 brightness in a dark room. Play a video with perfect blacks and you will see light leakage on screen.

Ok nice! Maybe I'll try to get mine replaced too
Yeah I noticed the black rush while playing a game in the dark. I guess that problem still persist in your replaced phone?

Green tint on screen

Hi there,
There is a green tint in the right part of the screen, it's more noticeable in low light and grey colors. Using PA Rom, but I think is not related to it. I use 66 hz screen oc, but the problem persists in 60 hz too.
Searching in the web I've found that may be burned due to oc, but in the forums people have been using it for a long time without issues at higher hz. I found a forum with a man with the same issue in miui stock without screen oc, but it got fixed, so maybe it's software related.
I think I'm going to flash stock miui and see if it happens again.
Anyone with the same issue?

Yep, that's what I think. :crying::crying::crying:
I'm thinking about flashing stock and use the garanty. But in daylight or light theme is not visible. Probably I'll wait to see if it get worse to contact the seller.

Question Mi 11 SE tint issue on Xiaomi.eu

TL;DR: Green tint that appears severely on 90hz, slightly on 120hz, and disappears on 60hz. What to do?
Hello,
I wanted to ask if anyone knows of a fix or a way to help reduce this green tint I'm facing in xiaomi.eu.
I'm experiencing a green tint or heightened contrast which targets darker colors that specifically appears on 90hz (much more apparent), slightly on 120hz and disappears in 60hz. I've posted about in Xiaomi.eu forums but I've basically been told it's all in my head and they never did anything regarding the display's refresh rate.
The phone worked perfectly fine on the Chinese stock ROM with no issues to mention about the display. The tint issue spans the whole screen aswell so please don't tell me it's a hardware issue when I didn't have it on China ROM.
So, if there's no fix, is it possible to flash over to a global ROM or go back to the Chinese ROM with OTAs intact from xiaomi.eu? I'd rather put up with ****ty bloatware and Chinese ads than spend another minute with contrasts going haywire everytime I go to recent tabs or everything appearing grey in 120hz just because the devs think there's no problem with it despite CLEARLY me having an issue.
I am on Mi 11 SE, MIUI.eu 12.6 (21.4.14) Beta
Someone on Mi 11 global rom 12.5.5 stable xiaomi eu rom reported the same issue that I have too.

General Problem with photos - Green in night light streets

Hi! I bought this phone because of his camera. However, in the night, many times the light of the lamps in the street are quite green in the photos. Am I the only one with this problem? I noted that with gcam and some white balance custom settings the quality is better so I assume that pheraps could be a problem with the white balance of stock app. Im on global with 12.5. 10.
Any advice?
Thanks
