can anyone help me to find a solution?
thanks alot
Disable Chrome browser, log into YouTube vanced and then you can enable Chrome again. That worked for me.
Is it me or do ads at start of a video still find a way to play?

It had never played an ad here.
Just switched from pocophone f1 to mi 8. Gave my f1 to my wife.
Well actually it's almost the same phone.
I have some ads appearing on very strange placess.
After installing something from Google play, Google protect scans the app, after scan is finished ads appear.
I also have ads if i go to designs.

Working like a charm!
Not necessarily specific to Mi9T Pro but was wondering if there were any alternatives to YouTube Vanced? I've noticed the project hasn't been updated in ages. It works insofar videos don't have ads but it's an old build of YouTune and the homefeed is interspaced with adverts.
Also - are there any newer versions of ViperFX4Android actively developed? I noticed a material version was actively developed last year and it was great but that too seems abandoned.
Tried searching myself but the XDA app is crashing on Search Plus.
Where are you getting your APK from?
They're encountering some issues with the latest version of youtube, but they have a version from earlier this year on their discord server + telegram.
Their telegram tells of the progress; from what I can tell they're fairly close to another update.
See: https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...ed-edition-t3758757/post80697915#post80697915 for more info
As for alternatives: I'm not sure, but vanced works well for me at the moment, lacking only some of the new features like video organization.
Vanced works like a charm here, or what do you need to be updated?
Can try NewPipe :

it's there on F-droid too :

Hey,
I'm looking to bypass youtube ads, that are getting more and more annoying everyday.
Do you think that downgrading chromecast to an older version (and blocking updates) would allow me to get youtube without ads, as it used to be a few years ago ?
Maybe setting a custom dns still works, but I've read that ads nowadays come directly from youtube.com
Did any of you tried that ?
Cheers
