Flashing is not finishing mi flash tool(v.2018.11.15.0) - Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Questions & Answe

I tried to flash MI9T PRO fastboot rom on my k20pro. at first, i tried to flash the latest one (10.3.2.0) and it ended up with an error saying Missmatch in Device and IMAGE. after that, i tried to flash an older version (10.3.1.0) and it did not show any error but it's not finishing the flashing progress. i already tried refreshing , selecting again the flash folder and flash again but it did not stop the flashing progress. what should i do now? please help.
note that i use a Ryzen PC

Thanks a lot for the clue. Never tried it before although saw it earlier.
It's really great tool. Much better than miFlash Tool and also the progress is visible in the log.
Cheers.

Same thing is happening to me. I was trying to shift from Chinese ROM to Global in my Redmi Note AI. My phone turned on, already converted to Global, done Initial MIUI setup steps on the phone(selecting language, region, google account login...etc) but, in my PC MIFlashTool, it's still flashing, progress bar is green, no error is shown! should I unplug the USB and start using the phone as it is or re-flash using your Java tool?

why is my bootloader showing as locked even though i am on lineage. unable to use the jar for that reason.

alguém pode me ajudar?

as the title suggests I have a curious problem, after changing rom very often the security options don't go anymore, I can't set a password, a 'drawing' etc ... when I set it to have the ok but nothing changes. ... solutions?

I tried them all .....
install mini and stock gapps .. first and after the first boot .... I tried to overwrite the roms on the miui file system 9.6.20 without and with wipe .... I made wipes 200 times but nothing ... .with and without magisk ...... with the miui it goes as smooth as the butter with the aosp no ....
the problems arose after I tried to install the Open Source Illusion Project .... unfortunately, however, it gave me an error and I gave up ... I shredded and I restored everything and from that moment anything I install doesn't seem to work the fingerprint sensor ... only with the "miui" works correctly ...

no, I haven't tried it yet, I've always hated using something other than TWRP ... lastly I'll try that solution too ... anyway it's a mistake ... as I said before everything worked fine and now it only works in the rom miui.eu ... really curious ....
tomorrow I also try the AOSPextended and see if the miracle happens, I doubt it ...
the strangest part is just in the error ... any setting I put does not return errors or other ... it simply takes the ok but in the settings does not change anything
Try to install any custom rom over Xiaomi.eu without wiping system. If it doesn't help you can try to install persist.img from fastboot China dev miui rom( the same version as your xiaomi.eu rom). You must use twrp that support persist partition (e.g. wszx150)

I rectify ... not even the rom "miui.eu" reads me more the fingerprint ... the sensor works because if it enabled the unlock function without fingerprint the sensor works correctly but no rom allows me to use more the settings of release
to install the persist.img I have to unpack the rom or do I have to flesh the full rom ??
The best way to get rid of problems with sensors is flashing full fastboot rom with Miflash. Notice that you can't lock bootloader if you install global on CN version and vice versa. You can try to repair sensors by flashing persist.img unpacked from fastboot rom.
In your case if sensors work good I don't know if it is necessary and will it help. In miui you can check sensors in service menu. Just tap several times in kernel version

I have problems with encryption or bootlader lock (i have a mi8 global)?? so I have to lose all the data to use xiaomi.eu or similar or does it change anything as I am now?

flash dev global rom without erase data (miflash)
flash TWRP (ADB)
wipe system, cache, data, dalvik in twrp
flash clean xiaomi.eu 9.8.1
the f***** fingerprint not work.... it works only as a button but not with security settings
any other solution??
Unfortunately I am not Italian. I am Polish. If you have CN version you can't install global rom and if you have globa version you can't install CN rom and relock bootloader.

You have already been given the solution, the solution is to use adb or the All in One Tool, and flash the fastboot version Rom, which flashes and restores the driver images including restoring the fingerprint driver.
In addition, you will very likely need to format ( not Wipe FORMAT ) Otherwise, you are just wasting time. Backup any wanted files to the PC and then format your device. In you are not comfortable with ADB use the All in one tool. Its makes this process easy. Especially for people, not familiar with ADB. https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-8/development/tool-tool-one-driverstwrpfactory-t3895807

I did the suggested procedure (the procedure you quoted is the one I performed) without formatting the "data" partition, it shouldn't change anything
the problem is that it doesn't work yet ....
You need go to recovery, file manager and then delete locksetting.db in /data/system/

hello everyone i need help asap
i was running havoc and after a reboot i had bootloops and this error on twrp failed to mount /persist (invalid argument)
i tried everything i found on google but it still did not fix it
i tried to manually install persist.img but i cant do this cause i cant mount persist partition in twrp

please any suggestions?
Use TWRP 3.3.1.0-0607 CN by wzsx150 to flash persist partition, can be downloaded at:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79902192&postcount=111
It seems not only me got this problem, I tried many MIUI roms and the problem is happening over and over again.
- I use the phone for few days, then it couldn't wake up, and then boot loops.
- I was using the phone and then it hanged, and force reboot would lead into another boot loops.
Then I have to reflash the persist partition to fix the problem.
i have this problem too . and until now idk what cause /persist error .
just use TWRP from 2nd post . and flash persist.img only from MIUI .
then Format Data .

formatei dados e instalei outras roms, bootloops novamente

How to flash TWRP [Android 11, One UI 3.1] on Samsung A30 (SM-A305F/DS)

Hello everyone!
I have tried several times flashing TWRP with ODIN on my device (Samsung A30), but i get "fail" message on ODIN screen.
I have unlocked Developer Mode and checked OEM unlocking and USB debugging to be active.
Can someone have the time and will to give me a solution in few steps? I want to flash a custom rom after, so i would appreciate your time on responding me!
Regards!
I had this same problem of giving an error in the installation of TWRP, in fact, before installing TWRP, you have to install vbmeta, it is what blocks the installation of TWRP, install it and then install TWRP that will work, download vbmeta disabled, install in AP, then install TWRP and be happy
Thank you man! Going to, one last question, is it going to be flash-able with ODIN or do i need to use another installation method?
Thanks again for your quick response!
@Deivid Soltoski i got the same fail message even when tried to flash the vbmeta disabled...i guess its another way you install it not through ODIN...

this tool doesn't start with an error "card not found", i did google too but nothin helped... would be greatful if you could throw some light..
Did you get it done?
I have a security backup file using THIS tool. Hope it helps.
Copy the attached file to the security backup folder of the software.
I'm not so sure about using other tools and flashing my backup files. You'll need to install the drivers but I think you already have because you were using SP Flash Tool.
Restore it under EXTRA tab once you are in software.
I hope you don't need to rename the file.
If necessary,
try backing up your corrupted security file first with this software.
Check and copy the file name of yours.
Delete your file.
Then simply rename my file to your name.
Restore.

Thanks a ton, i have been able to get out of this "nv data corrupted" error but IMEI are still missing from the phone, have gone through multiple youtube videos but unfortunately every guide instructs to reboot phone into META MODE which i'm not able to do it in REDMI NOTE 10s
