won't it affect the battery?

The only hotness is the phone itself.

phone gets crazy hot at the top

Is it normal for the phone to get this hot during games? It also heats my battery, I was able to get 44°C after playing for 5min under sunlight.
How's the heat compared to the nexus 5?

Also the cpu goes up to 60ºC... This shouldn't happen with snap 400... (it only uses 4 A7 cores at 1.2Ghz)

My mistake! Kkkkk
my device is getting hot on the top too, even more when i play asphalt 8 (with low graphics). One time did get 45°, i ran and put it on the freezer :laugh:
I hope that is something that will fix with android L
I don't game much, but my phone's temperature is usually around 33-40 with lots of applications running. However, while charging it is always at 38+ mark.

Sounds about the same as my Nexus 5. That area where it gets especially warm is where the CPU, GPU, and RAM are all sandwiched together.
BTW everyone is reporting their battery temperatures. That's all you will see on the phone without root and specific apps.

Temperature on my oneplus 3t

Hello I've been with a 3plus oneplus three days and I feel like it gets very hot. Then, I give you some photos of your temperature at rest. Using it rises up to 50 degrees easily.
I notice it gets very hot around the camera area.
It is normal? Are these values normal?
Considering the performance of the phone and your skin temperature around 37 degrees Celsius, it's doing a good job keeping a max of just 8 degrees over body temp. ?
Especially considering normal CPU temps on desktop computers maxing out somwhere around 80-100 degress with passive cooling ?

Hahaha, thank you, is that I'm a little new in the subject, I stay more calm knowing that the temperature is adequate. What would be a limit temperature?

Well, since it's designed for you holding the phone in your hand, instead of mounted on a motherboard with a huge copper cooler on top, temperatures above 50 degrees can feel a bit sweaty (unless your in a polar region or Swedish winter, in case it's just nice and warm on your hands ?).
Ambient temperature and load plays the biggest roles when it comes to phone temperature.
Hahahaha, okey bro, understood, thank you very much, you are a crack, lol
I had heating issues today for the first time. Phone in pocket, locked.
Had to take it out.

I hope so...it was very unnerving! I had to take it out, reboot and let it sit for an hour or so.
It's happened about four or five times before, each time when I was carrying other phones so I thought perhaps there's something trying to communicate between them (either NFC or Nearby devices) and checked them all.
This time though it was the only phone I was carrying!
Anyway, love the phone and next update I'll refresh the full software. It's just that it got SO hot....!!
Let's see.

LG G4 Battery Voltage

I have just purchased a new battery for my H815 (https://www.duracelldirect.co.uk/phone-tablet/lg/oem-pno/bl-51yf.html) - choosing that one as I have used that website before and it had the same code as my current battery (BL-51YF).
However, I have received it and it seems to have a different voltage when compared to the original.
My original states 3.85v on it, whereas this one states 4.35v. Is this normal?
3.85v is the nominal voltage, 4.2-4.4 is the max voltage, so yes.

13wh, 4.35v = 2988MA, and you wont "fry" your phone with that 0.15v difference.
ELI5: YES.

Ok thanks. That makes more sense.
I was worried as it is a 0.5v difference (4.35-3.85), which is a significant proportion of the overall voltage. Anyway, it's in my phone now and all working, so thanks again

Yes, anything above 5V/2A (10W) will heat up a bit. I use v10 with 22.5W but i feel the heat is normal and i do not consider it as hot but little warm only which get absolutely normal within a minute or two after disconnecting the phone from charger.

There is different between hot and warn though. If your device gets hot while charging on the original charger there is something wrong somewhere. Mine doesn't even get warm when charging, perhaps, due to the winter cold. You should check the main power supply voltage to see if it's compatible with the requirement.
I don't believe it is normal for your device to get hot while charging without many apps running at the background.

If it supports Quick charging or SuperCharge, your phone may heat up during charging, due to the increased voltage. In order to reduce heat when charging, do the following:
•Charge your phone in a place where heat can easily dissipate (such as on a desk). Avoid charging in places where heat does not easily dissipate (such as on a bed).
•User a Huawei standard charger to charge your phone.

I was using my phone for navigation in a car dock and it was plugged into the car charger (qc 3.0). The phone got really hot on a sunny day and now it doesn't quick charge and I can't connect to pc with the usb cable.
Never had a problem using my mobile phone for navigation before. I suspect thermal managent is non existant and the heat has damaged the usb board.

What you are saying is like you want a aeroplane to take flight but you don't want to press the ignition button as that is manual work? And then if the plane doesn't fly because you didn't even press the ignition then you call the plane ss hh ii tt?! Wow! I guess there really is meaning behind it when people say "Handing a mobile phone to a monkey is stupid because it won't know how to use it".

I'm not a fan of honor or huawei but I am also not a fan of people who blame and cry about things because they themselves have stone age level intellectual(you get who I'm talking about, right?). Anyway thanks for your wisdom about ?but no thanks because unlike you who has surrounded yourself with stupid people who use the ?( which you are so familiar with apparently) when talking about logic, I surround myself with progressive and intellectual people who appreciate logic. Hope you don't have to see that finger again cave man but I guess you can't really help that part, can you?
