I accidently downgrade from wm6.1 to wm6(now AT&T version), on this wm6, AT&T change my original imei no. How can i change it back to my original imei.

As per my knowledge changing IMEI may cause damge ur cell and it is offence too. I personaly recomended that Please go to your nearest official service center and ask them to do so.

Unfortunately, any discussion on modification of IMEI numbers is not allowed on XDA as it is illegal in most countries and XDA is based in the USA and would, potentially, be held liable for such activity.
Google would be your best friend.

UPDATE: TESTED ON MULTIPLE DEVICES NOW
S6, S6 EDGE, S6 EDGE +, Note 5 T-Mobile are compatible, also most newer Samsung Sprint models too

Hey i have sprint locked s6 edge. Can you help me unlock it?
@stifilz hi! i have a 920t unlock with metro pcs rom (920t1), i wanna run latest 920t stock rom but i get the unlock code mesage. help me please. i live in mexico

i had my s6 g920t variant unlocked with code. flashed g920t1 (metro pcs) stock rom and introduced the code and was succesfully unlocked but today i tried flashing g920t (t mobile) stock rom and was locked again. this time couldnt go back to metros pcs because bootloader was updated. but a xda member help me out unlock it. now im running again... he doesnt charge nothing nor has a fee. BUT he only ask for a small donation to help him. it only took him arund 4 minutes to unlock my s6 thats amazing!!!

it was difficult due to my slow connetion but he tried many times and now my phone is unlocked:good::good:
Got my phone unlocked from t-mob. It was great experience, with a very fast response time (weekend).

a month ago i bought a sealed LG G4 and the model number is H811 yet when i looked into the Serial Number it starts with LS991...
im stuck because i wanna root it and install a custom rom on it and im not sure what to do really ... the funny part is that even the software version belongs to T-Mobile ( 20R)
any suggestions or tips would do me a great favor
note: i dont live in the US so contacting sprint or T-Mobile would help

I would post this in the reg g4 threads there hve been a few people with this issue. And seemed to have solved

There is a thread in the g4 threads about this. Please look there. For most info. This is a common issue in aftermarket refurbs.

Hey guys! I have a problem with my model number. I was on v405ebw Hong Kong version and i tried to root but got softbricked. So i thought all ebw softwares are the same so i cross flashed to European version.
But after cross flash, my model number changed to v405ub. Now my dual sim doesn't work. Now i've flashed korean pie but still the same model number.
Any would be appreciated!
Edit: Guys we found the solution! Join the v40 group in telegram.

i tried with my lg it was V405EBW and i flashed Android 10 V405N and now my Model number has changed to V405UB, also my dual sim is not working anymore

yes my S/N is no more to be found and also my Anti-Rollback is Red. I flashed multiple roms for the EBW model but no luck. the only way is to chip erase but i don't want to mess up my baseband and the imei
