some days ago i tried to convert mi a2 in 6x with your guide. After flash rom mi a2 show all time mi boot logo. now pc doesn't recognize fastboot mode, only edl mode but when i try to flash original stock rom or wayne rom i have this flash error
Phone is bricked, sell it on Ebay....or we can help u using dhl to USA at no cost.....

I tried to flash Miui 9 on my Mi A2 with this install guide (https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2/how-to/miui-10-install-guide-t3844729). But when i flashed Miui 9 MiFlash showed me it was succesful, but now I´m stuck at the MI Logo and cant go in fastboot mode. Also i think I can´t go in EDL-Mode because when i try to short the test points nothing happens. So neither MiFlash or Fastboot is recognizing my phone. What can I try?

Hello everyone! so my redmi k20 pro which had a mi9t pro rom on it fell into some water. First it was ok and after a few hours it shuted down and now it stays on fastboot mode all the time.
The problem is that I can't get my 2 computers to recognize the device (tried with adb and xiaomi mi flash tool). Any suggestions before I just throw the phone away?

I managed to flash a stock rom with Mi Flash but the phone keeps going back to fastboot and I also tried to flash twrp but after the flash the phone goes back to fastboot. Any suggestions?

I acquired a bricked MI A2 phone which I hoped to resurrect using MI Flash tool and suitable stock firmware. Fastboot is accessible, but can't use it to flash anything as the bootloader is locked, so used the test point method to get into EDL mode. Tried flashing various jasmine firmware versions but got errors. Eventually successfully flashed MI 6X (wayne) firmware and now fastboot getvar product shows 'wayne'. Unfortunately the phone still seems to be bricked as the MI logo appears for a few seconds then a white line progresses across the screen with numbers above counting from zero to 99.99% , then stops.
Can anyone please help and maybe suggest what I should try next?
I have since flashed various MI 6X stable and developer firmware using QFIL, but still get the same result as described above and as shown on attached images.
Is this likely to be a hardware issue?
My son has a Mi A2 that affter a factory reset don't boot. It stays in a boot loop. Don't go to recovery, only fastboot but adb don't recognize it in the "fastboot devices" command.
Can you help finding a post that solv this issue.

I think most posts will advise flashing the latest firmware either using MI Flash or QFIL in edl mode. In my case that did not work, but you might be lucky.
You could also try hovatek.com, they are usually helpful.
