Android Head Unit Turns Itself Off - MTCB Android Head Units General

Hi there:
My car is 2016 QQ J11 TS 1.6Dci and have installed a unit purchased from Aliexpress. I Just want to get some advice regarding a matter about the driver side door opening mechanism in QQ. The previous Nissan unit turns itself off after opening the right side door. The problem i am facing is that the new android unit turns itself off after just pressing start/stop button at the end of journey. If I want to use the unit at the end of journey then the only option is to turn the ignition on or turn the engine on. Is this the general behaviour of aftermarket android units? Anyone having the same problem? Is there any solution of this problem?
Best Regards

[Q] Samsung GT-S5300 - home button, display and vibration broken

Hello to you guys from XDA.
The situation is the following: I have a small Samsung Galaxy Pocket that has its home button broken. It simply does nothing when I press it.
And I also have another issue. The phone doesn't vibrate anymore. It all started in the end of the last year... Maybe the vibrator motor is dead?
But I tried to open my phone (and I actually did manage to open it) and I ended up severing the display flat cable. So instead of having only one issue I have three. And the worse: my phone is already out of warranty - it has been more than a year since I bought it.
And I actually found out that the home button is part of the motherboard itself, not a separate piece like in newer Samsung phones, and that the vibrator motor is placed together with the loudspeaker and the GPS receiver in a single, removable assembly.
So, I know that the display can be replaced, but what about the vibrator and the home button? Can they be fixed? And if yes, should I spend my money with that or should I leave this all aside and buy a new phone? What do you guys think?
Note: I'm posting my question here because my phone doesn't have a forum on XDA. I hope you understand.

[Q] Keep Phone on when in dock automatically

I am debating car docks and looking at how to keep the phone screen on when in the dock automatically and to return to normal timeout after removed. It seems NFC is a one time thing, that it won't keep it on when near then go back to normal when removed. I looked at the idea of having it restore when disconnected from bluetooth but I normally put it in the dock, then start the car. So it won't be connected when it hits the tag, and should immediately return to normal mode, not kicking back in once bluetooth is on and connected.
Wondering what solutions people came up with to this dilemma.

"Phone" process prevents Android Auto from showing it's own call screen

Hello,
I suffer from an extremely annoying problem with my Huawei P9 on Android 7. I am using Android Auto on the head unit of my Vauxhall (Opel) Astra and when I try to call somebody, the head unit does not show the android Auto call screen. Instead, the screen does not change at all but the phone screen goes on and shows the standard Huawei call screen. This is bad as I can only end calls with the button at the steering wheel.
I figured out that the system process "Phone" (or "Telefon" in German) exists twice. After terminating both tasks the Android Auto call screen works flawlessly.....at least for a couple of minutes until both "Phone" services got activated again automatically.
By the way, when I disconnect the phone from the car and use Android Auto on the phone, it does show the same behaviour. When I call somebdy, the Huawei call screen shows up instead of the AA integrated one. After force closing the processes, the AA call screen works again but also just for a couple of seconds.
I have already re-installed Android Auto....did not solve the problem...
The last option could be a complete reset of the phone but I would like to avoid this of course.
Does anybody have an idea what is going wrong?
Thanks a lot for your comments!
I have the same No solution for now. On Android 6 it was working...
Second annoying thing with AA on Android 7 is that you can't use task manager to switch to another app... I know, crazy safety reason. I bypass this with some floating button, of course...
Have same problem
With my Huawei Elate I am unable to end a call while using Android Auto. I do not see the end call Icon. I have updated the app but still have the problem. Any Help?

All sorts of problems with a Joying PX5 headunit

I'm having all sorts of problems with my head unit
Firstly, if I connect the speakers up then I get a high pitched tone through the speakers at all times. Bizarrely if I connect the white and grey cables together on the car side (ie not the head unit side) then everything seems to work. But that makes no sense.
Secondly, the buttons along the left hand side do nothing. I've been into the factory setting and tried to "retrain" it. Although I can see it reacting to the retraining nothing happens after I've finished, the buttons still don't work
Thirdly, the ACC mode does not seem to work. I've monitored with a multimeter and it doesn't matter whether there is a voltage on the ACC or not the unit turns on when there is power on the yellow cable and turns off when I disconnect that cable. I can connect this cable directly to the ignition feed but then it gets no chance to shut down when I turn off the ignition.
Fourthly, and this may not help the above. If I select shut down from the menu on the device it does nothing.
As it is this unit is pretty much useless. Whats going on? Are the cables badly labelled perhaps?
What did the reseller suggest?
Apparently they won't be back till the 4th
Hmm .. so I took it out and plugged it back in on my lap, rather than in the radio hole ... and it worked perfectly. A few oddities (such as tune in radio not working at first) but that resolved itself almost instantly.
I can only assume I hadn't plugged the black plug on the back in correctly.
*Fingers crossed it stays this way*
I m afraid youre in the wrong forum - Joying/Joyous RK3368/PX5 head units are not MTCD/E, theyve stopped making MTCD/E units completely and they never made RK336/PX5 MTCD/E units at all.
I ll get the thread moved to the Android Headunit General forum.
1. the gray and white cables are for the front speaker. the high tones are the keypad tones. you have to deactivate it in the user menu (amp must be deactivated in factory menu). the keypad tone only comes via front speaker, not magenta and green cables for the rear speaker.
2. try reflashing the firmware?
3. red is ACC, yellow is constant battery. your device is running without connect the red ACC cable?
4. with shutdown button it ONLY shutoff the display backlight and drain further 600mA. doesnt?
read the Joying intel sofia all you need to know thread. not all is same on the PX5, but its really interesting.
PS, i have the PX5 too, but have other problems like you

Dasaita head unit diead blowing a fuse in the car, but not it's own

I just bought Dasaita HA2153-MAX6 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33010915960.html
After some testing I didn't like that screen was less responsive than on my old one leading to bunch of typing mistakes, button were hard to press, there was light leak from buttons onto screen and also some constant background noise in right side speakers. I decided that I will be returning it, pulled out and put my old one back in.
Then I realised I hadn't done factory reset and cleared personal data on Dasaita. So I put it back in, car batter was unplugged. I connected the the main power harness without any other cables like antenna, mic, rear cam etc. After connecting batter and turning on ignition key, there was noise of sparks inside and burn smell. Of course I immediately turned off ignition.
This caused a a fuse to blow in engine compartment, but somehow the fuse in the head unit itself was intact. Any idea how could this happen?
I replaced the fuse and put back my old head unit which works as before.
