Hi all,
I have managed to install GSI ROMs, but no matter what rom I try I can't set a lock screen,
on Android 10 it won't let me set one at all other then swipe.
On Android 9 it will set a lockscreen but for some reason when I enter the pin/pattern it will say wrong code no matter what I do.
Anyone had this problem before?
Try to delete all folders inside /data/misc/keystore/also how you managed to install the gsi? are there any bugs besides the lockscreen?

I dont`t know the the reason, but I can not unlock my phone anymore.
After starting the lock screen is displayed. But if I instert my numbers, the screen does not unlock.
It looks like that the numbers are not insert to the lock app.
The problem is, that I can not see anything because I have currently not enabled debuging, and I can not enable it :crying:
I have testet now the following, Install latest version from 22.03. Than enable in Locksreen the Pin lock mode.
Reboot phone. An than the phone does not accept the lock pin.
Can anyone please help me?

Change the ROM's. Nameless did not work well for me either.

Problem appeared on: SLICK-S427-ROW_by_SHENGE 6.0 rom
Problem:
notification icons on home screen top bar are gone
quick settings/notification pull down menu (the one with wifi, flashlight, airplane, etc.) on home screen cannot be accessed (neither by swiping down nor by using a Nova Launcher widget)
On the lock screen they both work. On a 5.0.2 rom (miui7_v6.5.26) they both work as well.
I have tried options, different launchers, TWRP factory reset, TWRP full wipe, TWRP format data and flashed several other top 6.0 roms - nothing helped. Even a full format and installing a 6.0 rom that I know worked before!

I have exactly the same problem. Even the alarm wont go off because for some reason the notifications dont work. The problem happened when I tried to put in a second SIM and since then I can't get to fix it.
my solution
I probably should have posted this long ago, but forgot. Anyway, here's my issue:
it's the additional security PIN.
I have tried multiple unofficial ROMs for my phone. Some of them had the option of setting an additional security PIN (10+ characters) for situations like SIM card change (anti-theft measures built into the ROM). The problem is, when you later change the ROM to one without such an option, it will somehow "remember" (I guess the info is stored on a different partition or something) that it should ask for the security PIN upon changing SIM cards, but the current ROM lacks this functionality. This is why the phone acts so weird.
The solution for me was: flash a ROM that had this security PIN anti-theft option, enter it and disable it completely. Then you should be able to flash and enjoy whatever ROM you want.

EDIT: this could possibly also be achieved by installing an anti-theft apk that has this functionality, but I have not tried that.
Which ROM
Do you remember which ROM has the feature? Cause I cant seem to find one.
I don't quite remember, but most likely it was one of the AOSP LEMONADE family, a Lollipop.
Thank you very much sir, my problem finally got solved. For future reference, the ROM I used is this one: http://www.needrom.com/download/aosp-lemonade-v3/ although I' m sure many more will have the same anti-theft option.
My current MI5 with the RR Rom 7.01 has a problem that factory resetting or fulling reinstalling the ROM wont help. The screen always goes to sleep after 10 seconds no mater if i have change it in the settings.
Are you using the latest version of that particular RR rom? If so, you might want to check the developer forum for that ROM as it might be a bug also experienced by other users. If that's the case, you can either wait until the developer fixes it or alternatively switch to another ROM such as CM14.1
miui rom by ycjeson says this device is associated with existing mi account,and it says enter password to activate deivce..
i dont know the password and it occurs when i flash miui on my le 2 x526....during phone setup .I am not able to use miui roms

Did you wipe /data /cache as written in each ROM description?
Yes of course but this problem is not solved... Even When net is not connected it shows (while setting up fresh MIUI)
This device is associated with existing mi account i don't know how this roms knows...

I think u have to format everything including internal storage then clean flash rom.

Sorry to disturb your nearly one-man-thread, but since you request flyme os???, you are not fixed to miui and can try any other rom instead.
What happens, after you install lineage 13.0, just as an example, or even stock? Does this work?
Yea Los Roms are working and stock but this MIUI locked me Everytime when i install it.

Hey guys, basically I am facing an issue now, basically, I successfully rooted my note 9 which is on the android pie (using twrp and magisk)
And now I have this issue that every time I try to create a lock for the phone (i.e. fingerprint or anything else) And I input the password. Then it doesn't lock my phone, however, it doesn't let me register fingerprints as it says the pin I enter is wrong. And I had to reset it 5 times already.
Please help
