Hi! I bought Mda vario 3 (kaiser, tytn2). Wifi was not working, i send it to repair, then its working but 40%. Later, few days i open it and see where did repair man solder some copper wire. to the antenna. I add long piece of copper wire to motherboard antena and strenght goes to 100%. I solder that wire and wrap around motherboard so it does not make any short circuit. i assembly phone and it WORKS AS my htc desire wifi. Then i realise my camera is blur, i open phone and find that camera need to be pressed to the board, i press it and add little little super glue so camera does not go up on one side and turn on phone (holding baterry behind with my hand), camera now works but it has some dots, i clean camera few times and dots dissapear, and last time i turned on phone to see if everything with camera is ok, low batery sign turns on and phone turns off.
From that, until now, i cannot turn on phone, it turns on but i cannot see windows logo. BUT, with old baterry, phone turns on, touchscreen does not work but keys yes, and tunrs off. And there is always low batery signal and sound. I check batery voltage its 3.7V. i Charge it, its 4.09 ( charged on universal charger). Still my (I LOVE IT) mda does not show windows logo and turns off. And when charging with 500mAh adapter baterry is how a little, and with 1000mAh its hot as hell, specialy camera and baterry connector.
I REPEAT, when i did soldering and camera cleaning (lens cleaning) i turned on and off my phone near 30 times (doing that 2 days whole process), baterry was lovering and suddendly dead.
I can buy new baterry 2000mAh for 8 dollars, what should i do? or send it to repair. PS my baterry was good for 2 days of average use.
Hi all,
Several days ago I got a brand new LG Optimus 4x HD. Last night I plugged the phone to charge and went to sleep. This morning when I unplugged the phone, a weird buzzing sound was coming from the charger. The phone was charged 100% and seems to be fine. Since the LG charger looks a bit cheap compared to other chargers I have seen (made in china by Sunlin T_T). I have charged the phone several times by now, but noticed the sound just today, I dont know if it was there before. I decided to see if the charger from my previous phone (Xperia mini, used for over a year and still working fine) will make the same sound and it actually does! Its alot quieter and I could not hear it until I put the charger to my ear, but its there. Also with both charges the sound continues for a while after they have been unplugged from the wall socket.
Should I be worried ?Note that the warranty of my phone does NOT cover the charger itself, so I cant replace it. If needed I will change the charger with a Duracell or Energizer charger, since here its next to impossible to find separate original phone charger.

the sound is normal. it happens in almost every AC to DC step down transformers. The sound should come on a short while after you unplug the phone, and slowly go away when the charger is unplugged. It will also stop when you plug in your phone.
you can do a little experiment here. When you hears the buzzing sound, switch off the charger or unplug it. Then without any power, plug in your phone FAST. You will see your phone is getting charged for abit, then it stops together with the buzzing sound.
anyway you shouldn't leave your charger switched on when its not charging, its a waste.

Thank you for the info. Now I noticed that the charges makes buzzing sound only when the phone is 100% charged or when the phone is unplugged from the charger but the charger is still plugged to the wall socket.
Got my S6 (Verizon) on Friday. Pretty happy with the overall improvements. Main sad points are no better battery life and what seems to be a weaker bluetooth radio.
Overnight I charge my phone on a night table beside my bed. For 3 nights I slept well just like I have with my previous S3 and S5 phones.
I got my sexy new wireless charger yesterday and decided to use that on the night table to charge my phone, but was awoken by a nice "beep" when the phone was fully charged. If not bad enough, the charge seemed to cycle off and back on at some point in time (think it was less than a half hour), and it beeped again. This woke me up and is not going to work!
I can't find any option to disable in settings/battery or settings/sounds and notifications where I can turn off this beep on full charge. What I find odd is the different behavior of wired charging (no audible notification) and wireless charging (audible notification). I have confirmed that the beep is coming from the phone and not the charger by turning off the sound on the phone and letting it hit 100%.
Anyone know where this setting might be buried or know of some tweak or trick to disable this notification?
Thanks!
I have yet to fully change my s6 from at&t but make sure it is not the charging pad making the noise. Some pads have speakers to alert you of the phone charging and when it's finished. If that's the case I just opened mine up and cut the cords to the speaker. If not than I don't think k there's much you can do other than trying to change the settings using USB debugging and adb.
I have confirmed that the beep is coming from the phone and not the charger by turning off the sound on the phone and wireless charging to 100%. Under that condition, there is no beep.
Well I'm not quite sure what you could do to turn off the beep but I'm sure there's a way similar to the method to turn off the back button and menu button lights. The best idea I had was to have your phone go into silent mode at certain times to make sure it doesn't beep every x minutes throughout the night

Sadly, that's what I'm coming up with as well, which isn't what I want. I need to be able to be notified of work emergencies, college kid issues, etc. As flexible as android can be, it certainly is frustrating at the things you can't control without being rooted (and that doesn't appear to be an option today with Verizon Galaxy S6).
Oddly enough I have absolutely no sounds coming from my wireless charger or phone when it charges to full. The only sound I hear is the one that occurs when it starts charging or detects the wireless charger. Other than that, the phone charges in total silence, and the charger itself simply changes from blue to green once it hits 100%.
Mine as well. I use the Nokia wireless charger. Maybe the charger you are using is telling your phone to make the sound when the battery gets full.
Little update here on a partial solution.
I actually found an app "Battery Full Notification" that allowed me to turn off the audible beep when the battery is full during wireless charging.
...but due to the cycling off and on of charging after that point, I still get a beep when it begins to charge again. *sigh*.
I use trigger to automatically turn off notification sounds when I connect charger then have it turn notification sounds back on @ 7 am. You can do manually if you press volume up then the gear and turn notification down all the way.
Hello, i got a big problem with my phone, 3 days ago i was outside and it started to rain so heavy and the phone got wet, by that time it was like in 3% charge, so i was expecting to die on me, it did, but since it got wet, i did not know if the phone was off because of the water, water damage and stuff, so i left it in rice for it to dry over the night and some days. Now some days had pass, i connect the phone to the wall charger and only the red led blinks, like each second, sometimes the screen shows the batery icon like when the phone goes out of charge, not showing increasing charge, just the battery icon. i dont know what to do, many told me the battery is unusable, other the usb conector needs to be replaced, at this i think might be true, since any usb charger will fit loose and disconnect easly. What do you think?
Found a video with my problem showing up

Check if you have dirt in your USB port, sometimes the pins are not connecting well and it switches to slow charging.
