Hey guys,
I have bionic with 902 radio. Two days ago I wanted to come back from Eclipse 2.2 to stock also 902. Started Bootstrap , wiped files and i picked WRONG file ... :/ flashed Deodexed first stock file :/ .... Now when i turn on bionic it puts me to green android guys that says Welcome Droid Bionic , touch android to begin, when i do it it shows " Please wait, this may take a few minutes" .....Im not lucky already 8 hours ... :/ its still there with notification and does nothing ..... I can connect USB and put files on SD card and phone is seen on PC. I tried to go into fastboot and thru RSD Lite flash over stock FXZ file BUT when I connect in AP Fastboot mode (S) my phone is not seen on PC.....when i go into SBF mode its seen as Motorola Flash Module Interface....:|
Now i dont know what to go .... I can start phone holding volume buttons and pick recovery ( i put Eclipse rom back on SD CARD but it doesnt want to flash , it says that there is problem with signature)....
So I dont know what to do ....I ask YOU guys for help ....I hope its not THE END of my bionic .....
Nope...its not the end
You need to use RSDlite 5.6 with the full 902 xml file.
Make sure you have the latest moto-drivers (5.4 or 5.5) installed on your PC.
Make sure you are using the cable that came with your phone when using RSDlite.
If you want to save your internal sdcard...there is an edited file that timmy10shoes made.
I can dropbox all these items for you except, the full 902 xml file.
Or you can get all the files here... http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-bionic-hacks/202176-detailed-safestrap-instructions.html
I have cable that came with phone but i even reinstalled system from win 7 64 to 32... and still NOTHING
and yes can u drop box it ?
try plugging it in from the back of the pc. sometimes secondary usb hosts dont work. that was my problem for a while lol.

I am at work right now and I might not find the time to look through my dropbox.
But everything is at that website. Just go over there are start downloading the files. The full 902 xml file is going to take awhile.

Great point. I guess, I just figured he tried all usb ports.
yes i did try all of them .... i hav 5.4.0 drivers and nothing :| sees phone in SBF mode but not in FastBoot :/
Dont upload anything on dropbox cuz i already have all the files....
Ap Fastboot Flash Menu Mode (S) ..... and pc doesnt see phone :/
Go here...http://www.motorola.com/Support/US-...tware_and_Drivers/USB-and-PC-Charging-Drivers
Try the 5.5 drivers
How old is your PC?
Sometimes Rsdlite might just say connected and wont say anything about the device that is connected.
Have you tried to run Rsdlite 5.6?
---------- Post added at 03:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:55 PM ----------
Also, run rsdlite as administrator: right click, properties, compatiblty, run as admin, apply
Its new, i7 , 8gb ram ..... I downloaded those drivers u gave me ....i tried 3 RSD
Tried Rsdlite 5.6 and running as administrator?
---------- Post added at 03:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:21 PM ----------
1. start RSDLite 5.6 (have rsdlite on desktop)
2. turn phone off
3. press and hold the volume down and power button at the same time on the phone. The fastboot menu will appear.
4. plug your bionic into your computer with the cable.
5. Click on RSDLite, you should see your phone listed.
6. click on your phone to highlight.
7. click on "..." symbol.
8. navigate to the 5.9.902 file location and select that file.
9. select uncompress and start flashing.
I did how you wrote untill RSD start....yes its running as admin and my phone doesnt show on list ..... nothing like that ....i know how to do it, my biggest problem is that in Fastboot mode my phone is invisible for PC :/ and i have win 7 32bit....
I switched USB cables.... LOL !!! Motorola supply ppl with bad cables ?:| I used one from Blackberry and it works on it .... OMG !!! flashing and i will see where i finish.....
P.S
I switched .exe file compability mode to Windows XP SP 2 and i chose to run it all the time as Admin....
p.s
its stuck on 2/22.....LOL im still waiting ...
How long it been stuck?
It fails on 2/22 ....Failed flashing process. Failed flashing 2/22 reboot-bootloader > No arrival message notification, phone disconnected.....
Ok. Stop. We dont want the battery to die.
You either need to use a different pc or moto-fastboot the images.
I can help with the moto-fastboot if ya have time.
yes i do have time, how it works ?
You have google talk on your pc? can you get it? Pm your user name if ya can/do.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace (S5830), a week ago when i woke up i released that it was not working. Before that i tried to change my imei, and i couldn't. But it worked after my fail at changing imei, than after a few hours it stopped working. When i try to power on, backlight turns on and off, sometimes it happens twice or thrice or till it's battery is over. Just turns on light and off. It goes on download mode, and ramdump mode. Recovery mode doesn't work. When i try to flash a rom via Odin, pc identifies my phone, odin starts but after Odin says "close serial port...", it tries to reboot but it cannot again, turns on and off the backlight again.
So, i think something is wrong with booting section, do you have an idea about this problem?
Thanks for reading.
Do you have all the USB drivers for the ace?
Does your Odin show the yellow box when you connect your phone?
If you can reach dl mode, you have a greater chance of unbricking! But I fear you will lose your imei and you wont be able to call..

When i try "cd c:\android-sdk\platform-tools" and "adb -d reboot recovery" i get an "device not found" error. I use win77x64, i have "Samsung USB Composite Device" under my device manager/usb devices list. I've installed google drivers via sdk manager but it doesn't seem on my device manager. what should i do ?
edit: as i understand, it is necessary to be checked "usb debugging mode" for my pc to see my phone as an adb device. my phone is closed and i cannot power it on, can i do this ? i think adb works for my problem, but i couldn't use it. it always says "device not found".

OK..try these things..
Code:
adb start-server *to start adb*
adb get-state *it'll show whether device is connected or not*
adb reboot recovery *to go into recovery mode*
Correct Me if I'm wrong, but usually USB debugging is enabled by default I think.
BTW, when you plug in your device, does it light up or shows any activity?

Google drivers as in? Samsung USB Composite Device should be there when You connect your phone, that's your phone drivers.
P.S:I'm attaching My ADB (I don't use the whole SDK) if you think you need them, copy them to any folder and open command prompt from there (shift+right-click combo),and run the adb daemon from there.

When i connect my phone there seems "samsung usb composite device" it's ok.
when i write on cmd;
"cd c:\android-sdk\platform-tools\"
"adb start-server"
it says "daemon started succesfully"
and when i write "adb get-state"
it says "unknown".
i'm checking google now, hope find something about it. can you help me with it?do you have an idea?
edit: i've searched a lot on google, but i couldn't find anything. i think i must edit an adb_usb.ini file but i don't know what to do. my problem is adb doesn't see my phone, i don't know if it works after adb sees my phone but i want to try it. i cannot use my phone for 2 weeks and i'm really tired about it.

Of course, yes.
Has anybody actually tried the adb reboot recovery? It doesn't work, you need to use the button combination.
Type 'adb devices' to see if your phone is recognized.

OK. Then this is the last resort. Uninstall all the phone drivers and re-install them. Win 7 automatically downloads from the internet if the windows update is on.Then via adb try for recovery.

You may need to install the Sammy Drivers. If you install Kies 3 it will do it for you.
I have installed the latest Samsung drivers tried 3 or 4 different cables still no luck.

Back when our phones had jellybean, I did the exact same thing. I deleted my stock rom without installing a replacement. BIG NO NO!
Anyway, to get your phone recognized, I would install kies 3, then tools > reinstall device driver. Do this with the phone connected in download mode.
Next I would use the files found here to reinstall the stock kk rom using Odin: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-att/general/n900aucucnc2-odin-files-t2838117
There is a guide on YouTube entitled "AT&T Note 3 MLG Restore Part 1" that should walk you through the process.
Please let me know if this helped.
Edit: I noticed that my fellow XDA members have recommended the same thing (except for telling kies to reinstall the drivers) As a last ditch effort, I would try a different pc running a different operating system (especially if you're using Windows 8).
---------- Post added at 05:04 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:56 AM ----------
I took this from thedroidguy dot com.
"First Solution: This is the recommended way to make any Samsung device, in this case the Galaxy Note 3, get detected by the computer without a problem: download and install KIES. Depending on your connection, the download process may take several minutes to complete but the installation won’t take a minute. Installing KIES into your computer mean installing all necessary USB drivers as well. You can download KIES from here.
Second Solution: If you’ve already installed the KIES into your computer and it still refuses to detect the phone, reboot it and try again. If the problem persists, uninstall KIES, reboot the computer and plug the phone in. Let the computer detect the device as a general storage then install KIES again. This time, it would work.
Third Solution: If you don’t want to install KIES to your computer, you can download just the drivers. They are packed into one package and compressed to only have around 25 megabytes. You can find the download link from here.
Fourth Solution: There is also what they call the universal ADB driver that would make any Android device detectable by the computer once it’s installed. The driver was built by clockworkmod team and can be downloaded from their website."

Well if the phone is in download mode, and Odin is up to date, then it has to be a driver issue. My pc always acts like it's recognizing my devices, but then it screws with the drivers to where nothing works.
Thanks for all the help I don't know what will work but I will continue to try everyone's advice and hopefully something works for me. At this time I can only use the for rom slots in safe strap. Phone works great other than I am unable to use full storage space of the note 3
It might be too late to help but i had to uninstall all the drivers from the PC then put my phone in download mode, then plug it in to the pc and it would install the drive and work maybe?
Or pull your sd card our and copy over a rom to it then put it back in and boot and flash?
So I am currently in the process of trying to flash a recovery drive onto my samsung galaxy mini however whenever i connect my phone in download mode my computer says windows can not recognise the device however it recognises my device when in all other modes. I have tried re installing drivers factory and resetting my phone several times. Please help if you know how! Thanks
P.s. I have attached a picture of the message i am given.
So maybe you don't install driver phone yet , right ?
---------- Post added at 04:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:05 PM ----------
Or should maybe try restart your computer to give all drivers read properly into your system computer .
thanks but didn't help
Thanks for the advice but it didn't work, p.s. what do you mean about not installing drivers yet, they are required
Also the problem is that my computer detects the phone but can't read it essentially
i used kingo root in PC to root the phone , then after when i reboot the phone, it was stuck with the logo fore ever..
then i unlocked the boot loader and then flashes it with kitkat stock firmware..
then downloaded the lollipop update in the phone , after installing it the phone didn't booted ..
i cant boot it manually, cant go to fast boot mode ..
it is just dead...
what can i do ..plz help.

Then its hardbricked bro, replace motherboard or sell it its body parts who needs or in the market
Just a few general ideas - probably won't help but you never know:
Leave it charging for several hours and then see if you can access fastboot
Try a different PC (including one that you've never plugged your phone into before, one with a different Windows version, etc.) to see if you can get it to recognise the phone as qhslk bulk
Try plugging the device into your PC using a different USB cable to see if you can get it to recognise the phone as qhslk bulk
Have a look around the web on guides for restoring a hard-bricked Moto G 2014 (specific model, type, etc.). This probably won't work but anything is worth a try. You could try following these on different PCs, with different USB cables, etc.
I think this problem was caused by trying to downgrade your phone to KitKat
Hope you get it working
