App Mockup Tools
Sketching up the frames of your app is a great way to make it a bit more realistic. There exist several tools to develop mockups. Feel free to take a look at mobile app mockup tools and see which one works best for you.
Mockplus - A simple drag-and-drop prototyping tool and an all-in-one design platform for prototyping, collaboration, and design systems. Low learning curve and very cost-effective.
Balsamiq - Balsamiq wireframes are the industry standard for low-fidelity wireframing software that reproduces the experience of sketching on a whiteboard with the use of a computer.
Moqups - You can create a simple wireframe, solid model, and UI concepts by using this online mockup. Its built-in templates can be used directly.
Mockingbird - It offers a simple and quick approach to make interactive wireframes and models. Create and share clickable interactive mockups of your site or application.
Invision - Ability to create live prototypes from static images as well as wireframes, which, when coupled with functional facilities of the software, can be transformed into the app prototype.
Creating mockups is an incredible method to test an early form of your applicationand helps developers with their coding. It's simply an issue of coordinating the privilege prototyping tool to the right requirements of your project.

For your phone or computer
Do you want a photo editor to use on your phone or your computer, because there are 2 cool ones for your phone, and they work well, and that is from a person who used to make his living with photoshop back starting in the days before layers.
They are Pocket artist, which is photoshop on your phone
and
Photogenics which is more a creative art applied to photos app.
Both have painting, so painting and drawing on your phone is a real thing...
Soon, phone art shows...
The drawback of both programs is they cost a fair amount of bread, but they work, my only complaint is that Photogenics needs a regular undo in addition to their unique work-flow.
I would love to see a version of Gimp on windows mobile.
cheers

Android 3.0 Honeycomb Full Preview Guide [USER FEATURES]

This article describes the new UI for Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Looking forward to see this work on the G-Tablet.
http://androidcommunity.com/android-3-0-honeycomb-full-preview-guide-user-features-20110130/
From the article:"...Android 3.0 claims to be refining such things as multitasking, home screen customization, widgets, and notifications. All of these items in Honeycomb have been looked at, poured over, and modified – integrated and expanded into this new 3D experience, one that will seem at first to be brand new, but will quickly feel familiar, even when you’ve got your fingers on features that are completely new. Apps written for earlier platforms should translate perfectly well to this new environment, and new apps will have the opportunity to make use of a new set of UI objects, new media capabilities, and more powerful graphics...."

3D Modeling App for Honeycomp

Wondering if there is any project or even - a app i havent found yet - for simple 3D modeling on honeycomb. Something between Chrome "3Dtin" and Google sketchup.
I would love to create some simple 3d projects on my xoom and maybe even animate it...
I would even help to start such a project. although i am not a programmer, i know many 3d software tools, grafics, icons, skins, et cetera...
I would also like to see a version of Google Sketchup for the Xoom. I have used sketchup to convey simple mechanical concepts to others and it would be great to at least be able view the models I have created on my Xoom.
viewing would be nice. But i think there is only a viewer for Autocad. i believe that modeling, needs quite an advanced interface and touchscreen handling, so i am not surprised, that there is no such app.
So where are the volunteers for the honeycomb BLENDER port?

New and improved Themes for HTC – Sprint Product Ambassadors

Most OEM’s now offer their own marketplace with apps, widgets, and other features that enhance the UI experience. HTC is no different in this respect, and one of my favorite options that they offer are Themes.
Themes are a collection of User Interface updates that change the way your phone looks and sounds. Specifically, each theme can be loaded with just a change in wallpaper and icons, or can be as in depth as changing ringtones, fonts, default contact pix, and even widget and shortcut placement and design. I’ve noticed over the last few years that HTC’s phone releases have loosely coincided with some major motion picture releases, so I’ve geeked out a bit and loaded the latest Avengers, or Age of Ultron, or Star Wars Themes on my phone.
NOW, there is a new type of Theme available. The original “Classic layout themes” are themes that have shortcut icons that are relatively similar to icons that you may have in your default set up. Additionally, the homescreen is still set up in the traditional ‘grid’ of 4x4. There is a significant number of Classic Layout Themes available for free. They even offer the option of creating your own Theme, which isn’t all that difficult to do for a basic Theme with ringtone, wallpaper, and font.
The new theme offering is called the Freestyle Layout Themes. I’ve found that freestyle themes are NOT bound by the 4x4 grid for each homescreen. So for example, the Galaxy theme uses different images of planets, moons, and other celestial bodies as icons for shortcuts to different apps. Additionally, those planets can be placed ANYWHERE on each screen… not just limited to the 4x4 grid.
I’ve also found that there doesn’t need to be any association with the app that each shortcut represents. That can definitely be confusing when first using any given freestyle theme, but it does ‘look’ cooler. There is also an interface that allows you to assign the icon to a specific application if it is not assigned by default to something you already have installed on your device.
Currently I’m running the Summer freestyle theme, but I’ve also used the Solar System and The Walking Dead #TWD theme… they’ve been REALLY cool, and make my phone screen a talking point to others who see it.
What are you running? Have you made a theme that we can try out?
Let me know!

Click to collapse
I don't watch the show, but I can imagine it's a good one... I've heard so much about the show, I can only imagine the stuff they include with the Theme. May have to check it out.
Is it Freestyle or Traditional?
Traditional. Haven't looked in freestyle. Their may be one. There's more than one in traditional.

[Theme/Template] hKZ LL- Car Launcher- Android All-in-One AVN theme

I've made some UI(user interface) running on android all-in-one
(based on 1024*600, some resolution has distortion)
As you know, all android AVN has same UI even they are all different company.
It means it has almost same design. So I would like to change specific design
for each owner for this using lightning launcher which is base launcher.
If you try to use this template, you can be a unique user who has special one.
Just looking around as we propose,
Key in "chris&jarald" at the google playstore !!
