Hi! this is my first time to post about my Mi9T Pro (Global version) "6/128" that i bought yesterday here in Philippines..
my issue is only Noticeable in Playing Games like Competetive like "PUBG, Call of Duty, ROS, any Games! i think all of them ?? what i mean is.. a HUGE TOUCH DELAY!! when your 2 thumbs are on the Screen and your right Thumb swipe faster to rotate 360 is not that accurate.. i can really Feel it as a GAMER. i bought this Device more on GAMING, because of Notchless Design and AMOLED panel.
when i Play any Games i mean the Dragging on Screen Sensitivity when Scoping or Not. its not accurately going on point where i swipe my thumb.. for Example: i swipe upwards.. it goes upwards also but theres a shaking on Screen.. i cant AIM properly..
soo is there any solution on this?? can a Custom ROM or Kernel can fix this?? cause i will Unlock my Bootloader immidietly! i dont have Tempered Glass installed. only the stock Casing that are intack on the Phone.. nothing else..
soo i need your advice! im currently on 10.3.3.0 (PFKMIXM) version. latest Stable

Under circumstances it seems that I have to press a bit stronger my finger needs to be exactly over something so it will recognize the click. I am not sure if this is a sensitivity issue or some sort of setting. Has anyone experience that behaviour

Do you have a screen protector on the device? The issue may be with the screen protector. Most full coverage tempered glass protectors for this device have adhesive only around the frame, meaning the glass isnt adhered to the display's viewing area and only hovers over the display, affecting touch sensitivity.

I don't have any screen protector, but I also felt some times (not often so far) the clicks are not registering. I am coming from samsung note 3 which I am used to (with screen protector).

Thats strange! As far as I know, no one has reported any issues with touch sensitivity. It may be some app incompatibility. What ROM are you on?
I'm on the EU ROM with Nova launcher and haven't experienced any such issues.

I am on vendor global ROM, waiting for unlock request to be accepted. Hope once I go to EU ROM I will not have any of the pressure issues.
Sir go to settings/about phone click kernel version several times you will enter test mode there you can test touch sensor! Maybe helpful to check
I have noticed sensitivity issues too. Sometimes it seems I don't even have to touch the screen for it to register and other times it doesn't register at all. Probably software issue just like the S7 Edge had when it was released. It was far worse on the S7 Edge but I can still notice it from time to time on this phone too.
From the beginning, I've been sofering lacks of sensitivity on my touch screen (eg. dragging the finger the screen loses the touch and get it again simulating a normal press: try to play Angry Birds without losing the bird while pulling it).
Another issue is dragging with velocity has more accuracy rather than dragging slow where movement has less precision, skipping pixels. Tested in "Hardware tests" screen (*#*#64663#*#*) and in games.
Model: Mi Mix 256 Gold - ROM: MXB48T (bougth in Spain).
Thanks in advance.
Cheers

Had similar issues on STOCK ROMs, but not on LOS builds.
Same issue
Just to chime in, I've been having problems from day 1 with touch as well. Clicking is something I have to try multiple times usually, since the device often registers my clicks as drags . This never happened on my Nexus 5. And when I'm playing a game or turning a page on a book, the slide gets interrupted and turns into a click. Very annoying. I'm on MXB48T 6.0.1 Mi Mix 4GB/128 edition
Hello everyone!
I have an Honor Play, and it seems to be a great phone. But I have one big problem: if one finger is already touching the screen, putting an other finger on the screen and moving it respond only after a short time.
This occurs in all the games I tried.
This is not clear, I know... Let's take an example. In PUBG, I have my left finger on the screen. The I want to rotate my view. So I touch and move my right finger. But there is a small delay (maybe 100ms or something) before the view rotates.
I feel like it's coming from the ROM (HiTouch maybe, because it use two fingers touch), because I don't have this behavior with others phones.
Of course I tried to disable HiTouch, but it doesn't change a thing :'(
Does someone have this issue? And maybe a way to solve it?
Touch delay
I Had the same problem too..since the 1st day I bought honor play to play Pubg.. since I'm a hardcore gamer.. Not only Pubg.. Same to goes to other FPS games Such as crisis action, and free fire battleground.

and i thought i was the only one experiencing this i play pubg mobile with a three finger claw setup and i feel that slight delay which I didn't face in my friend's poco f1 I tried all settings for pubg via gfx tool but it was not helpful
I'm with the same problem in the last version still nothing for me was corrected I stopped playing games on a game cell phone so it's so sad
Help me please!
Me too, Huawei mate 20 lite .. I thought I was the only one having this "software" problem. Weird.
All of a sudden the lower part of display (about 7 mm) has become unresponsive to touch which means no more gestures (swipe up to get to home screen is not working) e struggle to use the classic navigation buttons.
Sadly I had the same issue in my mi5 but in that case phone had the issue since the unboxing.
I'm starting thinking the xiaomi touchscreen tend to be more fragile than others.
Now I'm waiting for gearbest support.
Anyone has any advice or similar experience?
I made a screen recording

Regarding Xiaomi Quality
While climbing into my truck, I dropped my Mi8 from a height of about 4 ft on accident and it landed flat on its face , on the concrete. Freaked out, I left it laying their for about a minute fearing that the screen had been smashed into a million pieces. However, I picked it up to see that it was fine, and not a single scratch. So I immediately went out and bought the Love Mei 360 case.
Anyway, regarding your touch issue, you should really provide more some information about how this issue came about, what rom were you using, did the phone get wet, etc.
Also, I had an issue with my Mi8 soon after unlocking the bootloader where the top part of the screen would not register my touches, I first tried recalibrating the screen using Miui hidden settings app, the test is called QMMI ( I think) and if I remember correctly there are several menus of testing that also calibrate the screen for me this worked and for good measure I reinstalled a Miui rom and havent had the issue since.
Try it, hopefully that is the only issue. If you are using a AOSP. It's possible that you have a driver issue. So before sending the phone off for service its worth testing.. If you are on stock and still have a locked bootloader, I would try resetting the phone before trying anything else.
Good Luck.
Some gravedigging, but the question is still on the table - have you managed to fix it?
Random Touch issue at top portion its happen in low temperature or in high temperature
its really very annoying first i thought its my screen but on youtube i goot its factorydefect in some k20 pro as mi 9t pro
there is a little bit solution but that solution is not consider as fully working
solution
1 .stop touch sensor on top portion in this case some apps like lightroom many features at top u have to rotate ur phone
2.custom rom screen resolution change or by root method but in this case u have to deel with fingure print issue
so
not its on u how u want to use ur phone or want to sell i m really frustate in
after some day i m thinking to make video on this so be actve on #TechFuture Yout_ube
Hello community.
First, I apologize there may be some difficult to know what I want to say because of my poor english skills.
I bought CN version Mi 11 ultra last week. I have been using it but sometime I feel something wrong about touch input while gaming.
So I recorded video while playing game with touch position indication.
Here is the video.
It looks like happened when two finger input.
When problem happened, it seems like switching 2 touching position very very fast between currently touching.
It looks like only single touch is recognized in phone system...may be...
Anyone have same problem? And I expect someone have solution.
Yes, I've had it when typing on gboard and then I changed to SwiftKey and same issue
Sometimes a ghost touch makes the keyboard disappear
It happens less now I'm on 12.5.4 but sometimes still, there's an issue
Maybe related to notifications arriving at the top
I haven't figured it out yet or had much time to work on it
Touch quality was very bad , my old OnePlus 8 pro too much better touch sensitivity
I already asked in forum about that touch problem...
Touch function quality
Hi Recently i bought xiaomi 11 ultra Chinese version with global rom about a week ago, coming from OnePlus 8 Pro (that was my main device for last 8 months). Last week i noticed slow touch response and i feel the touch function was very slower...
