Hi!
I bought the european version when it released, HD voice is working, but im not able to get Volte to trigger.
ive tryed *#*#4636#*#* bo acces "phone info" and "slide" the volte slider, but it´s greyed out.
I have talked to my provider and they said that it should work.
Has anyone similar problem?

When I try this *#*#4636#*#* nothing happens on my X2 Pro. I can see no slider. It's like I have entered nothing on my dialer.
Yes thats what happend to me aswell, but a workaround go acces the phone info, is downloading a app called "force LTE only"
in that way i manage to acces that menu, but my Volte is grayed out

The same entered in the same way, but it appears in gray and could not be activated, on the other hand already active 4g +
For xiaomi devices i used the following "code" VoLTE *#*#86583#*#*. ( to trigger volte)
Oppo/Realme/Oneplus devices maby have a similar code?
On Oneplus devices a fix is to acces
w/o root--> open the dialer: *#800# --> oneplus Logkit --> Function Switch --> enable VoLTE + VoWifi switch
But havent got it to work on my phone as yet.. (Guess it could work similar?, Oneplus, vivo, realme, all are from BBK)
Moment please. After installing this app the *#**#... procedure still doesn't open a special menu? You only get access to the VoLTE slider with this app?

Only from the app, not from #*#*

I used the SIM Unlock via API just to know how to do it. Didn't mess with any setting by dialing *#*#4636#*#*.
Now, I have no roaming settings under Mobile Network Options and am seeing "Sheldon Mobile" as a 4G GSM Provider and also instead of "Sprint" I'm seeing "Sheldon Mobi" in the top right while placing a call. Tries multiple sense ROMs and even an RUU to still see the same thing.
Any ideas? I use Modaco Toolkit to change the lock screen text, maybe that has something to do with it.

On the Rich Man's HTC, sipping moonshine.
Bump.
On the Rich Man's HTC, sipping moonshine.
Did you try ##786# click menu and then reset? It resets network logistics back to factory.
Also, think if mode is set to automatic, that roaming settings are disabled.
Sent from Taptalk on HTC One on some awesome custom Rom!

Okay, that got rid of the Sheldon Mobi in the call screen and under available gsm networks.
Still don't understand where the Domestic voice roaming, domestic data roaming and other settings went.
Maybe something is messed up within the settings app itself?

Not sure I never used that SIM Unlock tool. But maybe since you are in GSM mode, there is no Roaming options. DEV's for the CDMA ROM's add that feature.

I SIM Unlocked another HTC ONE I owned and the roaming settings remained, not sure what could have caused it here...
I've RUU'd and tried a Stock Rooted ROM as well and those don't fix it either...
Hey guys, I have no clue how that happened.
Since my last restart of the P9, in the mobile network settings, I can see all of the possible options for all networks instead of the simple 2G, 3G, 2G/3G/LTE.
If anyone knows how to enable this advanced options, please let us all know.
One good thing, there is the option to force using only 4G, so if anyone experience often changes between networks, this might be a solution for you.

Which firmware do you have ? I'm on B180 and I can't see this options. I tried with developer options but there is no answer.
I am on B166 so far. Just found another post here "something strange happened" with same problem.
All my settings were reset to default and this new options in network settings appeared same time.
How do you change data cycle from 1-31 to 17-16? I couldn't find the menu.

Up, also interested on change dates for data monitoring
Enviado desde mi EVA-L09 mediante Tapatalk
Change data cycle:
1. Download QuickShortcutMaker from Play store
2. Start the app and type data in search box
3. Tap on Settings- Data usage- Create
4. Open created shortcut named Settings, enable your data, tap on Set mobile data limit, tap on the date and you will see "Change cycle". Done.
I don't want to use 3rd party app. Thanks.
Changing data cycle is hidden by default in stock firmware. Huawei are stupid enough to do that. [emoji1]
Third party app is the only way to reach this option i think...
Not working for me.. Could be coz my release is quite. Old b131 (thx movistar hahah)
Edit :it works.. Was my fault selecting wrong item. Nice tip guys

Hello,
in my office, the network signal isn't the best. I have 1 bar at 4G, 2 bar at 3G and 3 bar at 2G. So the phone choose 2G all the time, but 3G is possible and fast. On my old Huawei, i had the network mode "3G only", but the realme has only "3G/2G auto", so it's still choosing 2G.
Is there any Possibility to force 3G or 4G?
I already read of the Settings Database Editor and installed it, but didn't find a proper settings item.
Also i tried to get in the engineering mode by dialing *#36446337# but it didn't work.
Thank you for your support.
Hello use this code on dialer *#2323#
Sorry, doesn't work. Nothing happens.
on the Chinese version of the phone appears the choice of network type
With the app "Force 4G LTE" i come into the screen "about the phone", where i can change the network type to "LTE/WCDMA only".. but it's full of ads...
i dont see any options to choose from as well (like 3G or 4G connection) default is just showing 4G

thanks for this I managed to force mine to 2G onl. any other codes you can share?
Force 3G only/4G only on realme device
I am using realme 5s and I have the same problem but finally I found a solution. You can download an app named "4G LTE SWITCHER(No ads)" from playstore and as the name suggests it has really no ads and it works for me!

Hi,
recently bought the CN Version in Cosmic Mocha. Nice and beautiful phone. One thing is strange though . I can`t find an option to disable 5G. Something like "prefered network". I live in Germany without 5G contract and I only need 3G and 4G. There is only a 5G Network Mode Option but there I can only choose between "default", "NSA" and "NSA+SA". Never saw that before. No option to prefer 4G.

I don't know if this will work, but give it a try: type *#*#4636#*#* into your phone dialer and you should see toggles to disable 5G etc
Thank you for your tip .
Sadly the Code doesn't work for me. I know it from other phones but the Oppo doesn't seem to know it.

Try this one:
Settings > additional settings > backup and reset > erase all data (just click this, it has more options) > Reset network settings
After that restart phone and check again SIM card settings
Didn't help but thanks though.
Maybe it's because I own the CN Version of the Phone?

4G is best to watch any video in HD from any good website.

You have to "enabled 5G switch", then enable développer option and you will get a switch to disable 5G
Good afternoon XDA!!! I was getting 5g no problem and I received the notification for the C.46 update today. After updating 5g isn't even listed in the "Preferred network type" anymore. I'm on T-Mobile in the states model CPH2173, anyone else have this happen after the update?
Thanks!!!

If I go under "advanced settings" under mobile network all that shows up now is the "use mobile data during calls" option which isn't even able to turn on. No Smart 5g option
Try to reset your phone if same issue you need Full flash,

Did that and same thing, only gives max 4g/3g/2g option and no "Smart 5g" option anywhere.
So I'm wondering if T-Mobile is restricting phones from using 5g now like AT&T is
If you already flashed with ( CPH2173export_11_C.46_2022021122370096.zip ) Then should be fine,
& Yes its could happens, Such 12Pro does not show 5G due to unsupported 5G (SIM)

That's what I'm thinking is going on because it showed 5g on the .45 firmware and now it's gone so I'm guessing it is just stupid US Carrier restrictions for 5g .
Enter this code *#54794824#
Then enable 5G
How are you for finding those ussd codes? Any new ones?
Here's the one actually working on my 3X Pro:
*#6776# Info
*#899# Engineering mode
*#800# Logs
*#888# Hardware Revision
*#54794824# Toggle 5G on/off
